If I could leave 0 stars I would. I reserved a unit here online in advance. For 4 days I was calling the property manager as I needed confirmation I could unload my storage pods at the unit on a certain day. I left a voicemail on their line 4 times with no call back until after I ultimately had to cancel and re-route the whole thing since I needed that confirmation for delivery. I even drove to 3 locations including the one the property manager is supposedly at in Jacksonville beach and no one works there. If you ever need assistance at this place you will not get it.
Public Storage worked with me when the rates went up. The managers are always courteous and helpful.

From beginning to end (reserving the space, moving in, moving out) everything was easy and went so smoothly! I’ve had some issues with other storage units I’ve used in the past but have no complaints about this one! I also think the location is good and easy to get to.
Public Storage drastically raises prices every six months, even while advertising lower rates online if you are willing to move your stuff. But they do have great workers in Pat and Kim who are super helpful and willing to put in the extra effort to make your experience a good one - it just seems they are restricted by the corporate rules too much. Facility itself is only ok as moths in it and security/gate/door system is not as automatic as other locations. Without Pat and Kim, I'd rate it a 1 or 2 stars.

Easy to navigate & book online my storage facility at 5295 Palm Valley Rd in Ponte Vedra. Our first visit we needed help and called Michael. He was very understanding and took his time to explain where and how to enter this facility. We made three trips that day. I had to adjust this review. I heard rumors that raised prices after you got your stuff in storage. So I asked before we moved in. Guess what. They did exactly that. Terrible business practice. I can no longer recommend.
Update - the local people that work here are great and saved the day. Good conversation and they understand.
Beware! Do not store your items here if you care about them. Over the course of 3 months of storage many of the items in our unit molded. Of course we got a climate controlled unit specially to avoid this. Everything had to be removed from the unit and cleaned, some items were not salvageable. Wood furniture, clothing and mattresses all among the permanently damaged items. Public storage would do nothing to rectify the situation after thousands of dollars of loss and multiple phone calls.
Smells moldy and dank from the minute you walk in the place, I should have known better. They keep the temps/humidity levels too high and are not taking care of their customers. Willful negligence.
Easy and efficient registration for the PVB storage unit with Pat’s help in the Jax Beach Office. Registered an online account, Paid initial fees, Received access codes, and Set up auto bill pay. No need to use the Kiosk at Palm Valley. Ready to go….

Have had multiple units at this facility for years and can’t recommend them enough - they do a great job. Shout out to Mike - super nice guy and always quick to help when I inevitably forget something - top notch service!
The entire rental experience was 5 Star. We looked at the unit, did the paperwork and had our 1st load stored in the unit all in 3 hours time. Mike was extremely helpful and efficient.
Update: We have rented two additional units as we sort through a massive downsize. Mike and the rest of the staff have been excellent to work with. 5 stars to this business.
