Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 2760 Brownstone Place, Pearland, TX

UPDATE: One of the administrators called me about this issue and was extremely nice and wanted to understand what all happened. I didn't expect this, and it shows the right people in the company actually care. If you have a problem with this facility, call the number on the door and talk to someone other than the property manager. He will listen. Thank you for at least listening to my issues with the facility. Original Review: Other reviewers are right, there is a huge rodent infestation, as well as flies.. I also saw a cockroach crawling in the entryway when arriving to my unit one day, but didn't get my camera out quick enough to take a picture. Upon moving to this facility, I worked with a pretty nice guy at first, and he told me the rates should hold steady for about a year, 4 months later, my rates were raised significantly. Within one week, I left 3 voice messages and stopped by numerous times but nobody was ever in the office, nor was there a care indicating someone was around, nor did they return my call until later in the week. Even though the office has posted hours, it is RARE to see anybody there. This is a huge complaint from others I've talked to. Ultimately, the Property Manager who returned my call was very short and rude with me and told me that "I should feel lucky that I'm not paying the current internet posted rates", and he was unwilling to work with me. Instead, he told me to come in to talk to him so he could explain the raising of the rates.. I absolutely do not appreciate the way he was talking to me and decided to just move out, because it looks like this is what they want people to do. As for the facility, it is always very hot and humid, and there are flies everywhere that aren't swept up for weeks! The photo I'm attaching are flies next to our unit there were there at least a week before! The property manager was sitting outside on his phone at the time, yet didn't seem to care that the halls are filthy and need to be swept before closing. As for the carts.. I almost always have to walk to the opposite side of the building just to get a cart, as they only provide two for all their customers. The public bathrooms are almost always locked, and many times the hallway smelled like pot and the floors are dirty with debris. Even though I unexpectedly had to move all our items by myself because my husband just had surgery, I was really thankful to be out. The property manager should be replaced; he is lazy and mean. I haven't any other employee there except for the first one, Danny maybe? And he was super nice. My suggestions would be for the company to make sure their employees actually work (clean up the place), invest in more carts, and hire professional pest control. I do not recommend this companys' location at this time, but others won't always experience what I did. Stay aware and make your own judgement.

Wow Cordy was great!! This was my 1st time renting a storage and he walked me through everything and made my move in so easy if you need anything come see Cordy.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Do not use this storage unit, there is a huge animal/pest problem. I have been using this storage for only 6 months, when I went this past weekend I noticed a huge problem. Rat droplets, and urine all over my furniture and items. My brand new couch is ruined!!!! I had it wrapped with plastic, come to find out these pest have chewed through them and destroyed my items. Not to mention, when I tried to reach any manager or supervisor there was nobody to be found. Nobody is ever in the office/ onsite at this property. Mind you I PAY FOR CLIMATE CONTROLLED INDOOR STORAGE, this is not the case here. This place is constantly left open, anybody can just walk in, the doors are left wide open with nobody here. Pictures to prove below, this place is extremely hot and not climate control. I have called this location, left voicemails and tried to contact management about this issue. I have yet to receive any response. PLEASE BEWARE BEFORE PAYING FOR THIS STORAGE UNIT.

Dear Public Storage Management and Corporate Office I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a MOUSE INFESTATION in my climate-controlled storage unit, Unit Number # 2114, at your Pearland location facility. I have been storing my items at this facility for 2 years, expecting a safe, secure, and clean environment for my belongings. Unfortunately, upon visiting my unit on 03/27/2025, I noticed clear signs of a mouse infestation. I found droppings and chew marks on my stored items, which is not only concerning but also potentially damaging to my property. It definitely is a health risk as they carry deadly diseases. This issue has caused significant distress and inconvenience for me, as I trusted Public Storage to provide a clean and well-maintained space for my possessions. Also, I have more pictures and videos! As the unit is climate-controlled, I expected that extra care would be taken to maintain the space free from pests. I believe this situation compromises the safety and integrity of my belongings and is a violation of the cleanliness standards you promote. I respectfully request the following actions be taken immediately: 1. A thorough inspection of the facility, including the climate-controlled units, to assess the extent of the infestation. 2. Immediate pest control measures to resolve the issue. 3. A refund for any rent paid for the period during which my unit was affected by the infestation. 4. Reassurance that steps will be taken to prevent future occurrences of pest infestations in the facility. Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and advise me on the steps that will be taken to address this issue. I would appreciate a prompt response, as this matter is urgent. I’ve come here twice now for auction units and both Miranda and Daniel were delightful to work with. They made the process super quick and easy. They were professional and friendly. The facility is nice and clean and even have restrooms to utilize if need be. The only thing I wish is that public storage would allow a temporary code to gain access to the units as we are only allotted so much time and if I am not out of there right before six you will get locked in the facility which is quite scary. Along with no access code, this makes the only person inside working have to constantly go out and unlock the sliding doors every time I come and go which is inconvenient but that has to do with corporate and not the actually facility itself.

A very clean facility and security is very tight just know that your stuff is in good hand at this public storage. If you have any problems or issues the district manager is very helpful and willing to answer all questions I give them five stars on great service.

Had a great sign up experience! Pro-tip, sign up online for cheaper rates. Keep in mind that storage prices do fluctuate so the prices may change later, but they do notify you beforehand. They have a convenient app for entry and keep the place clean. I did have an issue, but Justus, the district manager personally reached out to resolve it. I really appreciate their great customer service and will return for future storage needs. 👏

Mr. King was very friendly and courteous and considering i was the only one coming in and out of the storage he made me feel very safe by being very mindful of my comings and going. I had to travel more than 10 times back and forth to the storage in one morning because of my lack of sufficient transport. Mr. King was very mindful of when i entered and left (not having too) which made me feel very safe. The facility is extremely clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. Please BEWARE before renting a storage unit here. They will continue to go up on the prices. In 2020 I was paying around $133 a month for a 10 x 10.. By the beginning of this year, they had raised the monthly rent of my unit to $170. OUTRAGEOUS! I tried downsizing to a much smaller unit to save $$$ and was told that I wouldn’t be able to get the discounted rate as advertised online due to the fact that I was already a tenant. How does that make any sense? I immediately vacated and took my $$$ and belongings down the street to a much more affordable storage facility.

Great staff, King was very helpful and answered my questions and helped me with the locks and purchasing boxes too. I rented 2 units and they are near each other on the same hallway The units are clean as is the facility as well. Great prices too, especially when you rent on line....you will save even more.
