I would not recommend this place. We moved out of this storage about a month ago. While moving my mattress out there was a dead roach inside of the sealed plastic. There was tons of dog food in my boxes ( I have no pets). Dead spiders on top of the boxes. For being a climate controlled storage this is horrible. When I reached out to the property manager he said I had to contact the storage insurance company (they could care less). The insurance company can only grant up to $200 after you submit receipts and fill out paperwork for all items damages. What a joke!

Nice storage facility, BUT, the price goes up pretty regularly. My mom has been here a year and a half and started at $80/month and just got a notice it was going up to $270/month. Yikes! We’ve been moving her out of the unit over the last couple of days and they only have 2 rolling carts! That’s ridiculous, especially given how much they charge residents.

The staff there at dislocation Lisa and that crew manager everybody are very helpful they respectfully answer questions very helpful in every way want to change my storage unit and they were on it I would highly highly recommend getting a storage unit from this particular location.

We've had a great experience with office staff, most recently with Lauren. Although it is sometimes difficult to reach staff by phone or catch them in the office because they must be out and about to take care of units, etc., my phone messages are always returned. When speaking face to face with staff, they are courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Today when we spoke to Lauren, she was friendly, very responsive and went above and beyond to answer our questions and resolve our issues.

I have used this facility for storage for a couple years now. I have always had a good experience until today. The attendant I had the pleasure of dealing with is Whitney. At least that what she told me her name was. Completely incompetent and not helpful at all. I scheduled a move out per public storage procedures and Whitney tells me there is a lot on my empty unit. I didn’t put it there because I removed my lock. Whitney was very un helpful and unprofessional. I’m had to drive 20 miles on my lunch break to deal with this because no attendant would be there to help me after hours. On my arrival guess what I found. No lock on my unit. A wasted trip. No apology, no admission of their/her mistake. Completely unprofessional. I have had great customer experiences in the past with other attendants. Either Whitney is having a bad day or she needs more PS customer service training. Horrible experience today.

Horrible, horrible. Started off only paying a hundred and something a month. Shortly after they sent me an email stating it was going to go up by $17 dollars. Received the bill and it was $232...they are a bunch of cheaters. The girl I was finally able to speak to told me that they raised it according to the space of the other units that haven't been rented. When I repeated what she said back to her and asked her how I was being charged for other lockers that aren't rented, she stated that's not it exactly and tried to word it differently like I was uneducated. I was able to get them to drop it down to $170 then it went back up to $232 now it is at $301. So basically you will start off low then they will quickly raise the price, they are lists and cheaters. I shouldn't have to pay for unused lockers, that's not my problem or anyone else's. So it was $125 when I started, then jumped to $232 (argued, then dropped back down) $170 then back at $232 now at $301....it's a rip off! Don't trust them!

Kobe walked me and my girlfriend through the vacating process for our unit. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about what he does and how things work. He also kept the place very clean. Will store stuff here again.

UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL, BEYOND SHADY!! BEWARE THE RATING. They would not stop pestering my movers to give them a five star rating even though they explained they don’t have any interest in posting any review. I WOULD LOOK AT THERE REVIEWS TO SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE NEVER POSTED ANY REVIEWS EXCEPT FOR THIS ONE, PLACE. I FIND IT VERY HARD TO BELIEVE THAT A PERSON NEVER REVIEWS ANYTHING IN THEIR LIFE AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN DECIDES TO GIVE THIS LOCATION A FIVE STAR RATING FOR DOING THINGS LIKE BUYING BOXES. BEWARE!!! This is the worst branch. My belongings had rat droppings in them as well as there was water inside of some of my plastic containers. To be very clear I have a 5 x 10 unit with plastic containers holding everything as my intention was to be gone from Texas for 2 to 3 years after Covid while I moved to California as I am a project manager, and I go where I’m told. I decided not to move across the country and put everything in plastic containers as I plan to come back to Texas at some point once the San Francisco project was complete My rate was originally $58. I finally decided enough was enough when they had risen my rate to $185 a month. We’re not talking about a large unit. This is a 5 x 10 unit on the fourth floor. This is an unreal and they did the majority of it during Covid. I have already reported this to the state. Furthermore I have no evidence, but I will tell you on my personal opinion. I am positive that this company went into my storage unit and stole belongings. I have been searching everywhere for the photographs of when the moving company loaded everything into the unit. I am trying to link proof to show that they had stolen belongings whenever they cut my lock off for being 10 days late on the payment raise the nearly double. Furthermore, when I sent a moving company to pick up my belongings, they told me that the staff inside was extremely belligerent, constantly watching them and asking questions because clearly they were worried about something. Very unprofessional lady at the property called me when they were trying to load everything to ask if we were closing the unit so they could re lease it. I told her no I have paid for the full month and I will be holding the unit. After they left this ignorant person still closed out my unit and then had the nerve to argue with me when I called that if there’s nothing in the unit, they can just close it even if I paid for it Honestly, everyone be extremely careful with this company as I said.

Stopped in to try and get a bigger locker today and had a lot of questions. Priscilla and Kayla were both working and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They were kind and were smiling the whole time. They never made me feel never rushed to make a decision even though I was t ready to rent yet. They were able to answer all of my questions fully and showed me the different units. These are the kind of employees Public Storage should hire and have helping customer. I was in a rush during my lunch break to get transferred to a smaller unit and save some money before next month. Jessica, Jennifer, and Olivia were a huge help! They got me set up with a transferred unit (insurance included) at an even lower price than I was quoted online, on the same floor to make the move easier! All within 10 mins! Left me plenty of time for my lunch and after work I was able to get everything moved with a little motivation from their team to save even more money by moving it all today! Such great service every time I go in!

Since I'd first got the storage from an agent online, I ran into multiple issues that the ladies at the front desk were able to help resolve with much ease and pleasantry. First, Kayla yesterday, then Taren today! They by were both so patient, and understanding -True problem solvers. This specific location deserves a full 5 Star rating. Best storage facility I have found ! Grounds are always well kept , and staff has always been knowledgeable and willing to help. Taren has been great to work with, and goes above and beyond to ensure whatever needs arise that they are tended to. Highly recommend !

Buda location is great. Have great persons working, especially Patricia Thank You. Very good location only down fall is the rates are more than athers around. But very clean and safe.

Taren is amazing! I lost the key to my unit, she graciously recommended someone; they came quickly and I was able to access my unit. Protip - if you're from out of town, leave the key with someone local. She helped facilitate the move-out process which was a cinch.

They make you buy their specific lock and key for the units (20$) and they don’t give you a prorated refund. So if you pay your rent on the 1st and then decide you want to close your account on the 2nd, you’re now paying for a months storage that you’re not using. And you’re stuck with a $20 lock that you’ll probably never use again. If I had 2 more arms I’d give em 4 thumbs down! Clowns 🤡

Judy is amazing! I felt so bad walking in 8 minutes before she closed but I needed a storage asap. She quickly eased my mind by letting me know the time was not a problem & even physically showed me the unit sizes before I decided which option was the best for me. If you would of asked me prior to today I would have given this place a one star review however today Celeste helped me a lot and gave me information regarding my unit that no one ever has. I was never told what kind of lock to purchase and the last time I came in to show my ID no one was in the office and it was locked during business hours. My experience was more pleasant today thanks to Celeste!

I just recently started going to public storage in buda, anytime i need anything Taren is always there to help me. I have a unit here. And service is horrible. I can never reach anyone and I have a pament due today that I'm planning on paying and even though it's due today from all my emails. I'm being told I will have a 25 dollar late fee.....again payment is due today and I'm being charged 25 extra dollars. Also I got an email stating if not paid by due date which is today I will have a lean put on my unit and again can not get anyone to answer the phone or return my messages. Don't waste your time going with this company go somewhere else
