Devin was begging for my review since the day I got my unit so here’s my review! Listen close Devin, you are a nice guy probably someone I would get along with outside of work. However, here’s a little tip about working for a company. You are the face of the company so saying it’s not you is just annoying being on the other side because the conflict I was having could’ve been a very easy fix for you and me if for 1 you were good at your job for 2 if you cared more about your customers more than your reviews on google lol I did what you could of done to get a good review I called the company and made sure they didn’t jump my rent up and my bill actually went down 3$ just from a phone call something you should have done. Calling me entitled is not professional and you should probably take this as a lesson of how not to treat a loyal customer luckily for you I didn’t Feed into that unnecessary comment which I’m still confused on why you even called me entitled yes I will always be entitled to my money I’m the one working for it and your company who YOU WORK FOR was trying to take advantage hence the reason my rent is continuing the same because I didn’t let them take advantage of me. For those reading how awesome Devin is - most not all but most put that due to Devin telling them to do it
To review this company they charge a full months rent when you first get the unit don’t matter if it’s the last day of the month the bill is due on the 1st of every month no matter! So if you get your unit on the 24th like I did and you paid 190$ like I did your next bill is due on the first which is something Devin didn’t inform us on. We were told we get the 2nd month free for a special because by the time we got the unit it was already about to be the first and they get to bill you for that couple days definitely shady on their part. I thought the 190$ covered us until the end of December since we got the unit the end of October but no it only covered until December 1st Deven didn’t specify that to us while signing up with him he just juiced up the 2nd month free. Don’t let there specials deal you in they are definitely getting their moneys worth. They are pricey as it is and then they will try to jump your rent after a couple months don’t let them call the company and fix it your self since devin claims to work there but literally can’t call the company he works for to try to fix or adjust any issues a customer has. I’ve never heard of a that there is literally no reason he couldn’t call to try to fix it I’m still so confused on why that wasn’t an option! I did call customer service, she was very nice and happily helped me with my issues even pulled out a 1 time special for me out of no where lol but I’ll take it because they weren’t getting the money they were asking for no matter what so with that and the lady being nice to me is why I’m keeping my unit! All Devin had to do was try and he didn’t. One phone call for Devin to get a good review but he didn’t! So here’s my review Devin, hope next time you will put the customer first and actually do your job your the face of the company please read the description of you job title and do your part!

I used the unit for 5 months. A Major issue I faced was being billed $172 for the month on May 5th. I removed my stuff and cancelled my unit on May 6th. Since I paid for the month and only used the unit for one day I wished to be prorated and reimbursed. They refused and simply stated they do not prorate. So I paid nearly $200 for one day of usage. The price also jumped up nearly each month. Furthermors the light was broken in my unit. While this was a minor issue I feel the nearly $200 a month price should come with a working light.

I had the unfortunate experience of having a 5x15 storage unit at this Public Storage. The price in the beginning was high for that small space but do able. They then raised the rent to over $180 a month for that small space. Inside light didn’t work and it was always hard to get in contact with the property manager. I myself wouldn’t recommend this place to any of my family or close friends.! I’d suggest they find a much better establishment.
My experience here started out OK, but went downhill from there. Rates went up, up, up every 6 months or less and are now quadruple what they were at first. And my unit was not climate controlled or anything. I cleared it out and went somewhere else.

I have been here 3 months and I absolutely disgusted! My items was full of roaches! There is no one on the property and customer said it will take 3 days for a call back. Avoid this location! I have never ever seen roaches in my life until today! Now I have to throw all my items away

I do not recommend this location. They are infested with rodents. They peed pooped & chewed up almost all the baby clothes, furniture, documents, a brand new TVs cord and various electronic cords. Management is so unhelpful even with the insurance it was a nightmare the claims department runs you around in circles and only covers a fraction of your losses. Besides that problem, someone tampered with the lock on the door. Just an all-around nightmare. Lesson learned
I rated this so low is because the owners of this location should advertise rat infested, constant rate hikes the door seals should all be replaced the water will ruin everything in your unit if the rats dont... the staff their wonderful the try to help with the rate hikes but the owners are greedy been there little over a year never late rent went from I believe 80ish dollars to 160. Bit ridiculous for a half empty storage facility like I said managers are great but there hands are tied... also about the rats i had only tools and some car parts nothing to eat in there but rat droppings everywhere if it was that bad in mine I feel bad for anybody with furniture

*DO NOT BOTHER GETTING THE ORANGE DOOR INSURANCE. RATS destroyed my *completely* covered couch. Ate right through the plastic covering and had about 100 rat babies in my couch :( Was not notified about a rat infestation. And I checked my unit regularly. After the fact saw rat traps outside all of the buildings so management must have been aware of a rat infestation. I paid for the Orange Door Insurance monthly and only received $250 for my destroyed (3 year old) couch after the claim process took a month long. Go somewhere else.
I have been renting from Public Storage on Schoenherr and 10 mile in Warren, Michigan for almost 10 years. What the owners don’t tell you is that the rent increases every 6 months on your storage. I asked the sales person to ask owners why his storage price was almost twice the cost of other storage rentals and the owners responded back to me by saying maybe I need to find another storage place to rent from. The customer service reps, Kaitlyn and Richard are great but the owners need a lesson in customer service.The owners forgot who paid to keep them in business. There is no lights and most storages and don’t forget the rats that visit your storages every night.
Well I use my one for my business the others I was cleaning out my only problem is with the one I rent the lever is had to lock you have to step on it hard I have to use the lock to hit it to push it in lock it

I haven't been in the storage for a year they went up on my rate twice and online price for my unit is cheaper than what I pay so how can the price be online cheaper and I'm already a tenant and to top it all off the place has mice, mice droppings all over my unit beware of special promotions because they will go up

Ok so I got this unit and have had it for 2 years. I have paid late and pay the 20 late fee. This month my unit went up 15 dollars. Now my friend calls me says public storage calls and gives all my detail information. Now I'm concerned about the management at this facility. Can someone let me know if you're a collection agency or storage company?

Would never recommend getting a unit there, I had one for less than a year and rats got into my unit and destroyed sentimental belongings. The insurance agent doesn’t return calls and will not compensate you for any damages.
Angela is a God send! Angela’s customer service is impeccable and first class. Public Storage company is very lucky to have her! She’s even working on a Federal National Holiday while other companies are closed today in recognition of MLK Day 🙏🏽. Ask for Angela and you’ll get awesome customer service consistently! Thank you for all that you do.
Every time I pay my rent it's a different price no one can tell me why but it's always a different. I'm looking for another storage unit as soon as possible.
