Best customer service here from David
It was a simple process to reserve my unit online. I went to move in on a Sunday when it was raining. I really appreciated the drive through building so we did not have to unload the truck in the rain. The vehicle corridor is 2 lanes and plenty wide to drive a full size moving truck through easily. The app to open the entrance and exit doors worked great and meant I didn't have to get out of the vehicle or stretch out a window to put the code into the key pad. I did receive a code for the keypad as well. There are multiple freight elevators and there were carts available to help move items, which made unloading and taking items to the 3rd floor very efficient. When moving items into the unit on the top floor, we did discover a leak into the unit. We were able to store things off the ground and out of the line of the drip so we went ahead and put our stuff in the unit. Since it was Sunday evening, I couldn't call to get a new unit at that moment. I called on Tuesday and spoke with David. He was very nice, polite, and professional and he immediately assisted in making a plan to transfer me to a different unit on Wednesday. David asked that I arrive by 5, and when I let him know it would be difficult for me to do so but would do my best, he just asked that I give the office a call when I was on my way, and someone would be there to assist. I did call the office a couple times on my way on Wednesday but it went to voice-mail. I was concerned no one would be present to assist me, but as I pulled into the parking lot, Ryan called me back and apologized for not being able to pick up because he was assisting other customers. David had informed him of the situation and he was able to quickly handle the paperwork to transfer units. He went up to the original unit with me to inspect the leak and then walked me to the new unit. He was also very polite and professional.
The presence of the leak was a little frustrating, but all in all, I am very happy with my experience with this Public Storage location thus far and would recommend them to anyone.
