Great customer service and clean units. Wishing the unit was more up-front with the price. Seems its random prices when it comes to the location such as different level floors the units are on and maybe be seasonal too. In addition, and although, I received my second month free on a promotion, it took a little work to receive it. Had to contact managers and other customer support.
The app for Public Storage to access the facility rarely works so I won't use it anymore unit they update/fix the system. I will just have to punch the access code on the keypad.
I would say this is one of the best storage business in the area due to the cleanliness and staff working in the facility.

The facility is the worse in America due to poor customer service and fraudulent billing. They will harass you about making payments even if you have autopay setup, bill you for their system not working so they can get late fee payments, and eventuall lock you out of gate/storage space before auctioning your items. Do Not rent at this facility, you have been warned!!!

I had recently went to store my items here, Ashley was very helpful getting me set up, explaining the prices/options and showing me how the unit looked. 10/10 would recommend for anyone trying to store their things in a clean, and organized location. In case you dont have a lock, you can buy one there as well :).
The manager is unprofessional and threatens unit holders who has been 1 to 3 days late of threats of your unit being auctioned and sending you to collections. The manager failed to call me with respect and decent customer service. Their practices seem predatory and they fail to speak to customers with respect. Would not recommend coming here. It is May 4 (3 days after the first) and they are making it seem like the unit is never paid on time.
They need to learn how to talk to people.

If I could give negative zero stars I would. I am currently renting from the Burtonsville, MD location on Sandy Spring Road. This is the WORSE storage company I have ever dealt with!! They are extremely money hungry and their collection practices should not be legal. Because I had a past due balance, they cut my lock off my storage unit and left the cut lock on the floor inside my unit, as to further humiliate me. They were ready to send my things to auction over a one month storage balance. They call, text and email you incessantly every couple of days until your account is settled, even after speaking with them multiple times. Their business practices are unethical, uncompromising, they lack basic humanity and compassion. Just another greedy corporation in America. I will be moving my things out IMMEDIATELY. Make sure you never plan to be late with your payment before renting with these vultures! Or you will quickly regret it!

I rented with this location for multiple years. Ashley is super professional and offers great customer service. Although, I no longer have a need for a storage rental, I can definitely recommend this location. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
I have been a customer with EZ Storage now public storage since 2016. Ashley has been absolutely amazing! So delightful very pleasant and very helpful. Personally, I love the cleanliness how nice it smells. It very well kept which makes me feel good about my personal belongings being in a storage unit with great upkeep. Ashley u are “THE BEST”

My experience with the manager, Ashley was amazing! She was helpful and patient, as I wasn't sure what size I needed and, had no idea what size to get to store my items. Ashley showed me several units, this helped me decide the right size for what I was storing. I highly recommend going to see Ashley, if you are in need of storage in the Burtonsville area, she is great!

I have been with this establishment for several years. Although ownership has changed, the quality of service here with Ashley remains exceptional (we miss John, too). The pride she has is evident. She knows our family by name. It's always expertly clean, no leaves, the floors are immaculate and the temperature all year is perfect. Public Storage, do take time to recognize Ashley for what she does to make her guests feel like it is an extension of our home. I have spoken w iui th many customers (we are all friendly to each other). One thing is certain and true: The powers that be better do whatever it takes to retain her - because if she goes, a bunch of us will leave, too. SHE is why we stay (because your prices are not why we are still here. That is for sure.

48% rent increase in 15 months!!! $169 -> $205 -> 251
Was ez-storage when I rented for $169 in March 2021. PS bought it a couple of months later, and raised the rent to $205 in Oct 2021. Just got an increase note to $251 (June 2022).
PS keeps buying storage places in the area and is acting a monopolizer!
(The facility itself is nice, but expect to get GOUGED if you rent here. They're counting on you now wanting to move your stuff every six months!)

I have spoken and received help from both Ashley and John and they are always so friendly and do all they can to assist you and answer your questions. You do not feel like another number. Their friendliness and helpfulness is so genuine. I have spoken with Ashely more, and for longer periods so this part will focus on her. She has never made me feel like a customer. She is so friendly she makes me feel as though we are friends.

He’s very knowledgeable, he keeps the facility super clean! My husband has a unit here and he raves about this facility and how awesome John is at keeping it clean all the time. i have had nothing but positive experiences at this Public Storage location in Burtonsville, MD. The office staff have provided excellent customer service with every interaction I’ve had with them. They take the initiative to be helpful by explaining options to find a unit and pricing to meet customer needs. I am always treated with respect and leave feeling like a valued customer. I also appreciate that the site is well maintained and reasonably well lit. I have rented units at other storage locations and the service received in Burtonsville surpasses any others.
