We love this business. They are top brand for a reason. Perfect? Nope. Who is? Either you can afford quality or you can't. Although they should be individually ranked/ rated according to their trusted or most hardworking employees, that's what you need to remember. Everyone & every location is a bit different, as far as whoever they have running it. I'm sure they hope that they all have the basics down, though. If you are a new customer? Come aboard the Love boat. Older ( been there for a while), professional or repeat customers? The rates will keep you " woke" depending on the location. They have a great Memorial Day sale. They do not give many coupons or other deals except being a student ( temporarily discounted) plus a first month $1. You know nothing is free. ( fee) Our rented unit was kept clean for the most part. During snow days, they all need time to clear it like anyone else. You are responsible for your unit inside, same thing if you have pets, follow the rules. At a well run facility, you should always see a worker with a broom or available for questions, touring or general help & directions. Our family liked the facility with the golf carts. They give you a quick, safe ride to your unit if it's up a hill or a little further away, like towards the back. The elevators are safe , and lighting is good. It may be on a timer or motion sensor. You should never feel unseen, alone, or have to search too hard for someone if you need assistance. You can use your mobile phone when you drive up to gain access to your unit. Learn to be aware of your surroundings & if you see something, say something š

I want to thank Kendra and Alicia for helping me with my storage rental. Kendra helped me with a broken lot issue . She had a pleasant attitude and I really appreciated her help. My units were clean and the building was nice and cleaned.
Only downside is that the second door around the side doesn’t have a ramp, You have to pull up on the cart to go over the hump. This makes it very difficult to keep your items from falling off.

Ms. Alicia is the most wonderful, helpful, delightful property manager I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with. However, I do not agree the whole autopay process and I feel that to some degree i am being pushed or forced in to a process in which I’m not comfortable with. I came into this public storage location. i was greeted by alicia the property manager there. she was very nice and knowledgeable. she answered all my questions i had. She knew what size unit I may need if i decide to store here. The customer service i received from her was top tier.

Weather is no issue at this facility you pull your goods into a large lobby then access your unit regardless what the weather is, AWSOME

I had a Fantastic experience with Alicia at the 1701 Whitehead Rd. Location. She show me my unit in advance to make sure that it fit all my needs. She even shielded me from the rain with her big umbrella. She informed me of all the information that I needed to move in and get comfortable. Wish she could service me in all the purchases that I had to make!!!

I recently stopped in to inquire about a unit for my lil cousin whose relocating in a few months, I didn't have much time but the time I had Ms.Alicia helped me letting me know all I needed to do although this was a short visit Ms Alicia was very helpful and understanding and professional I really appreciated her so much.
Everytime I call it somebody new is there and older staff member either quit or was fired, they over charge money to pocket your money, I suggest you DO NOT go to this one at 1701 Woodlawn Dr. go to another one, where are you could talk to actual staff member that’s going to be there to help you do your storage,
They don’t have A bathroom facility for you or your kids while you’re doing the storage unit, Half of the security cameras don’t even really work it’s not secure here

My suggestion to new customers would be to find another storage unit. Within two years my unit price is almost DOUBLE. Despite inflation and current state of the economy Public Storage seeks to bleed customers for small storage units. Immediately when I secured this unit I received an email that Public Storafe acquired the previous owners business and within 2-3months my rates increased that same year. I am extremely frustrated at these drastic 20-30% rate hikes each year. Whereas units for 10x10s are currently going for less than half the amount I'm currently paying. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere or you will be in the same situation as I am. An extremely dissatisfied customer.
I'm actually writing my letter to the attorney General today to investigate price gouching tactics by this company. I believe customers like myself were taken advantage of especially during the covid19 crisis. This will not stand and I personally will not let it.
And for those new customers...ill give it 6months to one years and you'll be receiving your notice for increased fees. Good luck!!
