Dillingham Storage was great! When Public storage took over my 5X7 unit immediately went from $150/mo to $250/mo! It just went up again to $311/mo! This is in less than one year! Public storage fired all staff, removed carts and turned inside temperature up! This place is now Hot and dirty! Beware public storage will get you in then double your rates!
Public Storage is an excellently run organization and the team here in Honolulu is top notch. The price was competitive and very pleased with my decision to use their services!

I've been with Public Storage non-stop since 2007. From Hawaii to all over. If you're storing in Honolulu, seek Paris alone. Her expertise, courtesy and customer care is #1 hands down. I've had service where they tell you what you ask about but nothing more. I've even had an employee not even know the sizes of their available box sizes! There's a reason they send her to locations when there are issues of any kind. Go Paris!

Very secure. Would have wanted to have a csr in person to explain my rental procedures instead of email instructions only. Couldn’t figure out how to use the elevator.

I rented a 10x10 storage unit for my Grandpa at a rate of $355 per month in March 2024. In July 2024 (only four months later), I was notified that the rate would go up to $476 per month. There was no reason given in the email notification and attempts to reach someone outside of their sales department sent me to a string of representatives who did not have the authority to assist. Trying to get help in person was difficult because locations are not staffed full time, during normal business hours. I would avoid using their facilities unless you want to continue to move your items, which is eventually what we had to do in order to get a more reasonably priced space.

Staff Employee Hau was very helpful, she guided me through the process and getting my information updated, she explained about the insurance fee for the next following month and why it was important to get this, if not she also explained I can also check with my home insurance coverage and go through them, I probably will go to through the Public Storage one.. setting up my account was fast and easy, and she told me about the Public Storage App, that I’ll probably download later.
Decided to visit the new owners of Public Storage..and Willa greeted me with a smile... For the 1st time, I actually paid my rent on time..lmbo! I'm looking forward to moving into a bigger space...Prayers!! Thank u Willa for servicing me today! God bless!

Very happy with DBSS! Coming off of a terrible experience next door at Hawai’i Self Storage Iwilei, Kim took care of absolutely everything I needed. I appreciated that the rates were straightforward, the staff (especially Kim!) was wonderful, the facility is pristine, and the security is better than any storage facilities I have visited here. Their rates are guaranteed for a year (not so with other spots) and the kindness with which they treat their customers is unparalleled. They also pro-rate their move-in. Thank you Kim and DBSS for making a stressful experience easy!

Would give negative stars if possible. Most unreliable, backwards, and unprofessional business I have EVER dealt with. The expect me to fly 12000 miles to pay my bill in person because they refuse to allow me to pay my balance online or by phone, and will not accept a check by express mail.
The moment their employees were commenting on how nice my things are… that’s when I knew they were setting me up to just take my property…

I've been doing business there w/Dilly Printers for over 3yrs. They've been printing the John14 cards l use to share the Gospel wherever l go. Their prices have been more than reasonable and the service has always been outstanding and quick. Plus they're right around the corner from Costco where l refuel my car.
This place and the people that work here are great! Staff is very friendly, efficient and helpful. I go here for printing and faxing. The prices are way cheaper then UPS and Fed ex! Will continue to do business here. Mahalo

My husband and I recently started renting out a storage unit here. Although we pay a little more than our previous storage unit, it was worth the switch. The reason why we chose to change from our previous storage unit was primarily because of the hours and location. At our previous storage unit there were a lot of bums in the area and it was always hard to access our storage during the weekday because they closed so early. Dillingham Self Storage is just 5 minutes from where we live and they are open till 9p.m. They are awesome here… Great customer service, there's A.C., the building is well maintained, clean and secure.
