Just a little bummed that when you rent the storage unit in the middle of the month they will prorate the rate but if you cancel and move all of your things out on the 1st of the month, you still have to pay for the whole month. Greedy corporate business here. You also get increased rates at random times. And it's infested with HUGE ROACHES. Put a line of borax by your unit doors. The other Kaneohe storage facility (not public storage) is better.
The staff is friendly.... especially Clark. He always makes his presence known that he is here to help...and now with 24 hour access makes it even more convenient for everyone... I'd say they are a good short term facility because their rates are kinda pricey and they raise it about every three months so for who's been there for a while will end up paying double or even more than their initial price... but overall I still rate them a 5 Star facility...

It's a sweat box on the third floor... Climate control for who... Maybe the desert cockroach.... Parking is fine. And they do have carts in the bottom stairs by the lobby or the elevators very nice convenient I appreciate that. Would be nice to have a timer light inside the units I mean they're not cheap units should get what you pay for.

Lisa from the call center was RUDE! She hung up on me. I asked to clarify that I had to pay to reserve a unit without even being able to see the unit. She confirmed and when I said I thought it was weird that I have to pay for something dont know what it looks like, she hung up.
I called back the following day and asked to speak to Keanu. He was WONDERFUL! Personable and helpful. It is because of him that we ended up renting a space.
I would've given 5 stars for Keanu but Lisa dropped all the stars.

I am renting from for a work unit and he was very understanding. He continued to help me every-time I came in to check if units were available. Today, he helped me secure a unit and he was just overall awesome! Definitely a great asset to this company and for-sure deserves a raise for holding it down at TWO locations! Was very easy to navigate and schedule everything online. Clark at the site was extremely helpful with my last minute changes and helped me with a smooth transfer downsizing units. Love that if you choose, you can do everything online with ease.
Public storage app is easy to find info on the sizes & prices of storage units available. I could also apply at the same time as well as pay for my unit with my debit or credit card. On my move in date everything was ready to go. Management sent me a pass code thru text & email with my unit #. Passcode unlocks the gate, doors, & elevators to the storage units. Building is clean inside & outside as well. Management is friendly & helpful. Also available on-site 24/7.
Entry gate does not work via the app. One must get out of the vehicle and use the keyboard...very inconvenient.
Other patrons have the same issue.

Not doing review on the property itself just the whole company policy in general. I already had a unit at the facility when they sent me a notice that the rental would be increased by $80+ so I decided to move to another unit and made my move in date fixed for the last day of the month (June) planning to fully vacate my old unit by the first of the following month (July) All the arrangements were made and paid online with move in date set for the 30th, of June. I asked the property manager if I was not able to finish removing all my property could they pro-rate me one day in my old unit (July 1st) to complete the move in. I was told they don't allow pro- rated fee's, if I was not out by the 30th they would charge me the full rent for the old unit also for July.
Needless to say we made sure to be out and moved in on the 30th of June. Imagine my surprise when getting a billing from Public Storage saying I owed $28 and If I didn't pay I would also be charged a late fee on top of that. When speaking with the property manager I was told that was a pro-rated charge for the 30th of June since the Public Storage computer system only takes in payments on a monthly basis. When I countered that he told me they didn't do pro-rated payments his reply was they only do pro-rated payments for move ins not for vacating the units. Really bad business practices and not very clear on move ins and move outs. Company just wanting to legally scam people by not giving pertinent information before signing. Currently looking at other option's other than Public storage.

When I first rented a storage unit at Public Storage, Keanu was extremely helpful with all the details and answers to my questions as a first time “user.” Took me up to my unit, showed me how to use the key and the security gate. Today I came to add my son onto my account and Hau was here. She was SO helpful setting things up on the computer system. Couldn’t have done it myself. Thank you, Hau.
Yesterday I went to the Kaneohe public storage and the customer was excellent!! I asked for a 5x10 space but they didn't have any so I went with the next size down and he showed me on his virtual pad how much items could fit in that space and I was That's the very one I need. He walked me to the space I purchased their lock and I was set. The paperwork process was fast paid and done. I would most assuredly recommend public storage to Everyone!!!

So far, my experience with Public Storage Kaneohe location has been satisfactory. When I came in to rent a unit, Jeremy was the employee working and he was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I came in close to closing time and he continued to provide great customer service! The only issue I’ve come across so far is the availability of carts. I went three days in a row and two of those days, the carts were being used. Other than that, my experience has been good!

Went direct from a lousy experience at UHaul on Haiku to a great experience at Public Storage. The UHaul here is a dump with bad, and I mean terrible, customer service. Public is well maintained and service is professional and helpful.
Storage it so expensive, prices always go up & down, depends on how many units are available. Businesses really need to start helpg costs for the local people, so expensive, like payg rentš°

Don't store here unless you don't care about what you are storing...Staff really didn't care if tampering is not evident. I had most of my tools stored there and they weren't very helpful...Found out later roll up door for the units aren't to spec. They aren't installed tight enough between the rails or the sliding latch for the lock is not sufficient. Slide the roll up door to the opposite side of the latch and pull up and the door will roll up with out needing to unlock the lock...
Keanu was very patient and answered all my questions.
