PROS: Good communication and easy set up from out of state to secure a unit. Seamless and well-explained gate and entry procedure, so I was able to enter at 6:30am, unload a full moving truck, and fill the unit. Flatbed dollies available, the freight elevator and auto door worked great.
CONS: Very tight drive around the building for large trucks, however, it is negotiable if you take it slow.
I stopped at the office on my way out (mid-day), but it was locked and nobody on site. Disappointing.

Customer service is quick and easy
I have loved renting from Public Storage. It’s clean, secure and a nice facility. I am giving 5 stars only bc Terri has really gone out of her way to help me. Public Storage will increase the rent very soon after you move your things in. After 3 mos of moving in, I received an email that my rent would increase by $42 - From $119 to $161/month for a 10x10 climate controlled unit. That’s a 35% INCREASE!! 😱😳
Thankfully the manager Terri was able to get the increase to pause for an additional 3 months. I will definitely find another storage unit at a competitor should it increase bc that is not the going rate for this area however, I am grateful for Terri - she gets a FULL 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!! If it wasn’t for her I’d be moving out. She is friendly, professional and very kind. She is simply WONDERFUL to work with !!
I know it’s a way to get people to move in to initially offer a lower rent, but it also seems a little shady that Public Storage does that. I rented a unit prior at another facility that did not increase the rent for a full year so I will be going back to them - Public Storage is closer to my new home but not worth the rent hikes they frequently do. Just beware of this before renting here!!!

When I arrived Terri was dealing with a gentleman and his friend/translator. She showed patience and understanding during the rental process which took more than ‘average’ time. It was an excellent example of courtesy and the customer walked away with a smile.

This is a safe space for storage. My brother and I came here in February. We did not have a reservation but Terri was beyond helpful and accommodating. She was very thorough. And I am relieved every time I see her behind the desk. I highly recommend this space.

Fast easy to set up and friendly service
Abbi from Public Storage called me the next morning after I had registered online in the late evening the night before. She could see that I was having trouble with my registration and called to help me complete the sign-up for a storage unit. When I was unable to complete my registration online, Abbi referred me to Terri who was at the office later in the day so I could stop by and complete my registration and secure the unit. Terri took us on a tour of the available options and at each step of the way, she let us know the protocol for accessing the storage unit and what the expectations were of the users of the facility. Terri was very patience and professional as we decided on a unit and completed the registration. I felt we were well-served by both Abbi and Terri.
Public storage in Orem is a wonderful place to to store your things it's always clean Miss Terry that is in the office is amazing she goes above and beyond her job to help you in any way that she can it's just really great place to store your things
I had to transfer in to a bigger unit and Abby was super helpful and made it quick and easy! I’ve had negative experiences with customer service at a different storage company before (the storage unit next to mine caught fire due to criminal activity) and was nervous having to move stuff back in to a storage unit, but was reassured the security and safety of the unit. I feel good moving my stuff in to a space and thankful for Abby’s help!!

Public storage in Orem on State street is the best! Especially the manager there Terri. She is so kind and helpful and she works so hard.
So first off, they have a really good deal for your first month for a dollar, which is why I chose here. They were good about getting back to me when I showed interest and the facility is really nice with carts you can use. The couple bad things are that it says online that when I get there I will be paying 30$ today, but then when you do go there you have to buy one of their locks for 20$. Which I guess I know now is not super unusual, but it completely blindsided me on that. The other thing is that the lady working the desk (who was very nice besides this) had me pull out my phone right there and asked me to do a 5 star review right now. It's an uncomfortable position to put someone in, and it kinda makes me wonder how many other 5 star reviews on here are from people who don't like confrontation and just do what they are told. It's one thing to say, "hey if you like our stuff please consider doing a 5 star review for us" and, "do you have your phone? Go ahead and pull it out so you can give a 5 star review now". Just bugged me.
Edit: my family and I used this exact storage facility again a couple years later, and we ended up working with the same lady at the front desk as before. she was just as kind as last time and very helpful. She also did not pressure me into putting a review this time! I feel like my last review was heard and that they implemented changes which I think is really cool! The facility was just as clean, and a very easy process just like the first time, I absolutely would recommend using this storage facility, just be sure to have your own lock! 😜

We came with questions and not really knowing pricing or what to expect but Terri was absolutely amazing. She asked questions about our needs and listened to what we were hoping to accomplish. We ended up getting exactly what we needed and more. The pricing was awesome and the Terri runs a tight ship. Everything was clean and felt very safe and very well explained. The whole experience has been great! The customer service Rep was so helpful in every way. I wouldn't take my business anywhere else, the storage spaces are convenient and it's nice having a unit inside. They have carts for you to load your things on and there's A/C and super clean units.

Terri at the front desk is sweet and helpful. Top notch. But Public Storage itself is very over priced And Is raising my rent $30 every 5 months! I got fed up and found a very nice climate controlled unit about a mile further away for Half price! Woohoo! But I’ll miss Terri!

I have never rented a storage unit before. I had put it off for weeks because I wasn’t sure what to expect. Terry, the manager at this location made the process so easy. She gauged my needs, took me around to different units, answered all of my questions, and made the process super simple. Definitely a great experience. Looking forward to storing my stuff here.
UPDATE: After being here for almost a year, this has continued to be a 5-star experience. I checked out yesterday. The process was super easy. Terri was super flexible with me on timing of my final walk through. They didn’t nickel and dime me on my way out the door like a lot of companies do. It was honestly both surprising and REALLY refreshing.
Overall this was an excellent experience all around, the entire time I was there. I would recommend public storage (or at least this location) to anyone.

Terri was amazing. Wonderful attention to detail and made sure we got what we are looking for. We sure felt taken care of. She was also incredibly kind and friendly!
The check in was very easy and seamless. We had easy access to the unit during the day and there were always carts. The unit, hallways, elevators, etc… are very clean and a great temperature. The facility was never buys when we went. The only thing to remember is that the gates close at 9 which means you can’t get in or out, so plan accordingly. Checkout was east as well.
The Property Manager, Terri is terrific! She keeps everything so clean and she’s always available to help! Give her a raise!!!!

Terri has been the most phenomenal manager to work with!! From the very first time she called me to welcome me as a renter to our call today as I'm finalizing my last month, she has been professional, kind, and such a good human. She has a heart of gold and so much compassion for a 'stranger' (I don't feel like a stranger to her!). She has restored my faith in humanity with her kindness and thoughtfulness. I wholeheartedly endorse this location for many reasons (cleanliness, location, etc.), but mostly because of the manager: a sweet, southern lady named Terri.
We're very accommodating, Clean facility, and we're patient.

I had called several places to get quotes and public storage was by far the cheapest option. Big bonus that the worker there named Terrie was top notch. She was friendly, professional, patient, and kind. Which these days seems hard to find. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for storage.

I was renting a unit for the first time. I was greeted by Terri who was very helpful and explained thoroughly the contract and presented all the information clearly. Very happy with the services provided.
Terri did a wonderful job at making me comfortable getting my first unit ever. She helped me figure out the size of the unit and any extra packing materials that I needed. She helped me set up auto payment and download the app for any additional needs.

I purchased a 1$ move-in special. I was greeted by supportive staff and management even called me personally to welcome me. They have a useful app that can control the gate. The security meets the standards of the industry. Public storage is a great choice for your storage rental needs.
