I am not happy at all these people after calling them yesterday to cancel the services because they have rats in this location . I explained to rep before I got unit did they have rats . She assured me they didn't . When I went in a lot of rat droppings . I asked for my refund yesterday guy told me if I used the unit for one day I was not going yo get refund . I left message about rats on phone iam uploading pictures .
I recently visited Public Storage on 14th Street in Plano, TX. The Property Manager, Tish was awesome. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable and assisted me with getting a storage unit to preserve a few items for my niece since my brother passed away. These heritage and sentimental items will now be preserved for Catelynne until she is older. Many thanks to Tish for her help. She went over and beyond to be kind and helpful.

Tish - manager onsite - is one of the most amazing people I have met in this area. She was very patient with me and gave great customer service. It is one of the factors in me planning to be a repeat customer at this site location (14th Street, Plano, Texas).
The only thing i'd wish for Public Storage to be mindful of is misleading marketing on their website. For e.g., i rented out a 10x10 space but when I measured it, it was 10x9. This doesn't seem like much but if you're like me planning to the last detail it sucks to find out being shortchanged by a big company. Its an easy fix too: either advertise 10x9 instead of 10x10 or resize the storage spaces.

lady in the office has a horrible attitude , harassed me the whole time while in my storage unit left messages on my voicemail threatening to charge my card . PLEASE STORE YOU THINGS ELSEWHERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE HARASSED WHILE MOVING YOUR THINGS!!!

When I got my unit in 2014, 10 years ago, I was told to pick out a lock and leave one key with the property manager. Fast forward to June 2024 I am told they don't have keys and I'd need a locksmith. I decide to try to remove the lock myself first, and buy bolt cutters. I arrive at my unit to find my padlock isn't there and the lock looks different. I call and I am told they haven't changed the locks, and again I'll need to call a locksmith. $250 later a locksmith tells me he was just out the week prior and was told a similar story by that customer.. he drills through the lock, opens my unit, and there's the old lock with my padlock on it in my unit!! They DID change the locks! Wow..
We empty my unit of everything but a TV and table. I had paid the month of June so I had time to remove it.
I get a call from the property manager Tish, or Trish, and she says if I'd like, she can leave the dumpster unlocked for me to dispose of those items. Wow, awesome, okay. So we show up and it isn't unlocked. Okay, no biggie. I'll stick to the original plan. So we put the TV and table back in my unit. I call and I'm assured by some guy that I'm paid through June, so I have a week before July to figure it out.
The next couple days go by and I'm hit with a $250 abandoned items charge. I log into my account and it shows I no longer have a storage unit. I call and leave a message and no one will call me back. I call customer service, explain all the above, Tish/Trish calls me back and says she's going to have the DM remove it, and it was a misunderstanding on their end. I'm so grateful, and think this is all behind me. Even accept that they threw away the table I planned on keeping.
A week later $250 is deducted from my bank... I call and no one calls me back.
A few days after that, a months charge hits my bank and all the sudden I have the same storage unit under my public storage account.
I have called the property manager probably 15 times. I have called customer service, who by the way, told me they be pissed if this was them. They gave me the district manager's, Jesse, phone number. Who also won't call me back after 3 attempts. We are nearing Aug and I need my money back and this account closed. I need someone to call me back!! I can't go anywhere to speak to anyone in person. This experience has been terrible, and I'm out almost $500, really $740!!

This company does not care. You will get a video kiosk with horrible representatives. Call centers with rude people.

They will rent you a flooded unit. Then ignore any requests for assistance.
Management doesn't care.
Don't store here. It'll Flood or Rats and Roaches will infest your items.

First jus gotta say 'Public Storage' was there to provide and the opportunity was on time wen everything I had and was accounted for to make it happen to get a storage unit with availability wen needed it right then.👍 Even tho I ended up dealing with an issue about the payment. Somewhat I understood of the explaining for the increase of total amount. It's all good I still got the unit so yeah.

Terrible kiosk customer experience. When I questioned the price she disconnected me and never came back. The storage building smelled of gasoline inside. Very worrisome. No onsite manager to complain to.
This location is very clean and the staff are always happy to help me with any question. Tish is the best
My cargo trailer was damaged and nothing was done! I called the manager and told them that i found evidence proving that it was hit by the other guy who parks next to me. Prices have gone up here constantly at least they should be able to help me find a solution so it can be fixed. Don’t park anything here because by the looks of it they don’t care to help you. Also I’ve had other things in the past happen here. Got my ladder stolen but took sometime and they did manage to get it back because a tenant stole it. This shouldn’t even happen in the first place also i had trash dumped in my parking this place is going down hill by the looks of it and will be my last month here.
There were issues from the beginning when I tried to move into my unit as someone had already moved into the unit.

The facility is clean and well maintained. The customer service is excellent. I would Highly recommend this location for your storage needs.
Terrible facility! Indoor storage has rats EVERYWHERE including the units themselves. The storage fees are constantly going up, and they tack on several miscellaneous charges during move-out. This location also pursued illegal collection activities as well.

Do not rent here. No one is on site. No help available. No contact numbes. Shady billing. Say they did not recieve paymens on time to bill late fields. Payments come from an automatic bank system. Your rent WILL go up the maximum contract amount ever 6 months.
Property mangers is so unprofessional she's never there she doesn't want to work typical hood girl stuff.
And the district manager she so bougie and fake.
Im so sick of all these none wanting to work folks out here.

Not a good first impression. Just rented a unit and had a question to ask. Incredibly hard to reach the property manager by phone. They say they’re open 6 am to 9 pm, but I called mid day multiple times and got no answer. Don’t care about you after you paid them. These great reviews seem to be fake
She is professional. Am happy with her service.
I've had a pretty good experience here. Staff has been knowledgeable and answered questions. Price has also been good
