I was locked in overnight! This PS has outdoor units that you can drive up to and that's where the "Fence panels" were that I bought off a guy through Craigslist.
When I first arrived I went inside and the girl behind the desk set up a temp card for me to come and go as the fence would take me 4 or 5 trips to get home.
The employee said to me twice, try and be out by 10p.
Never once did I hear if you're NOT out by 10p the gate will lock until 6a and you will be locked in!!! This is a solid rule I would follow because it is a definite not a suggestion which is what I heard in, try and be out by 10!
So I made 3 or 4 trips home with the fence panels and then I took a nap. I woke up at 8:30, drove to PS, loaded my little truck with the last of the fence and got to the gate to leave at 10:05p. The keypad would not except my code like the 9 times prior that day.
I could walk out the security gate door but if I closed it I'd be locked out with my vehicle locked In and it was a very cold night so I didn't want that.
I called PS and explained my situation. I was told that the president or ceo took a call about it but decided it was not serious enough for someone to unlock the gate (Remotely mind you) for even a minute so I could leave.
My gas was almost empty, my phone was down to 10% battery and there I am locked in an outdoor storage area. The fire dept. said no to opening the gate, the police wouldn't help and so I sat watching the clock knowing I had to leave my house by 7a to get to work the next day.
I don't wish this on anyone, well maybe the ceo that denied my exit.
At 6a on the dot the code worked and I was allowed to continue on with my life and freedom!!
For this reason I gave this business and experience 1 Single Star!!
Super horrible service. Kiosk location says open and the door is locked. Call costumer service multiple times to locate property manager and he is missing. Stay away from this horrible location. And no public storage I will not email y'all for y'all's help in this matter.

I removed my car out of the unit a month and still being charged for the whole next month. I called them 3 times and no one told me to leave it open. That was the reason they kept charging me. I mean they have all the means to let me know the exact problem and make sure I do so but they never did. Left me wondering why I'm being charged and I had to keep calling to find out the problem. This is a month long after I remove my stuff out. There's no intention to refund so far. I call in now and they hang up on me after 10 mins hold.

I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the Public Storage facility. What stood out even more was the exceptional service. I had an issue that needed attention, and the property manager Shannon, resolved it immediately without any hassle. It's great to know they take such good care of their property and their customers.
Experience was horrible! I couldn’t speak with anyone the day I was trying to move in. Finally got someone and she barely could help she said that she had just started and had to call her manager to assist. After going to another location she finally was able to get me access to my unit. Purchased a lock with Public Storage and she brought the wrong lock. I had to buy my own and they still have those chargers on my account. Pam called me the next day and she said that she would check with her manager and give me a call back. I haven’t heard from her yet. Called numerous times and can’t speak to anyone. Just horrible experience.
I came to the property today to pick up my lock and check the unit i reserved. The gates don’t work and there’s no one on site. The live agent gave me the managers number, she wasn’t helpful at all. Gave no options besides someone would be there. Someone did show up but they were repair men who could not help me access my unit. If you need something dependable go else where. Smaller companies have people on site and better customer service. I cancelled my reservation and hopefully will get a refund.

I rented this unit at 5 10/29/2024. pm, then went there at 8 pm only to find the property very difficult to access. Construction outside has blocked pathways, and Public Storage hasn’t done a good job of posting clear signs to guide customers. I contacted customer service, requesting a refund so I could rent a unit elsewhere. Despite it only being 12 hours since my rental, they refused to refund anything other than the cost of the lock and key, citing a strict refund policy. However, they don’t seem as strict about delivering what they promise.
Frustrated but needing storage, I decided to make it work and went back to move my belongings. I found the unit pitch dark inside—no lighting whatsoever, creating a serious safety hazard. I called customer service again, and eight hours later received a callback asking if I still needed help. I explained the lighting issue, and their advice was to use my phone’s flashlight, which they said is what the property manager uses during rounds. I’m not just making rounds; I’m trying to move in. Holding a flashlight while carrying my belongings is neither practical nor safe.
Every time I called, I only received responses like, ‘Sorry about that,’ or ‘I understand,’ but no real solutions. When I asked for a refund, they repeated that I had signed a non-refundable agreement. What they should have also disclosed in the agreement is that the property is under construction, with unpaved areas, potholes, nails, and other hazards by the entrance, and that there’s no lighting in the unit. I deserved to know what I was agreeing to.
They raised price for next month without any notification. ?????????
Getting the unit was fine. The unit was ready when they said. Literally had 10 rats in the unit today when we loaded out. Be very careful using this place and absolutely don’t store any dry goods like seasonings, canned foods,etc. maybe I should have known. Chewed through boxes. Ate Yeti ice packs 😂😂. Put out plenty of rat bait if you use this place.
I used a smaller unit to hold a couch that I purchased and I only used it for a few weeks. I didn’t know to take the lock off the door when I “moved out” so I was auto charged. I called and spoke to Cindy and she had me come in and take the lock off and she was able to issue a refund! I’ll definitely consider the is location in the future.
This is a good location, only downfall is that there is no office. You'll have to contact the public storage office up the street next to UHAUL!
Sucks and I have a rat in my storage. Just go with someone else
The staff/property manager cut our lock open and went through my grandma’s stuff damaging and breaking a lot of her personal items. Therefore they went through our stuff to see “what’s inside for inventory” to auction it off. There was no communication that were going to do is and there was no reason for my grandma’s stuff to be completely broken if they handled that process with care. If I could, I would definitely rate this place a 0. Save your money find somewhere better that actually has a respectable property manager
DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE! They have a RAT infestation and the only thing they did for us was give us rat traps and told us it’s our responsibility even though the rats are from their property. This is ridiculous all of our stuff I damaged due to their ignorance
Thiefs breaking into units here just ask the locals PLUS there is NO ON SITE PROPERTY MANAGER OR OFFICE AT THIS LOCATION NOR CAMERA'S So that could explain the theft....Now this place might have deserved a 4.6 stars when property manager was on-site and office was there but ain't NOooo way this location deserve 4.6 stars and instead of decreasing the price on those who have units here already they are increasing the price 😑 on those who been here awhile and I totally disagree with the price raise for the condition of this location....there is Tons of rats 🐀 running around here due to the field next door and they did a whole lot of chewing up on stuff...😐...im just saying businesses shouldn't be asking full price to compete with others if they can't deliver the same value of customer service..this goes for restaurants and hotels and so on.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I wanted an inside climate controlled unit so I applied online somehow that’s not what I received I called in 5 minutes later after realizing the mistake and told by the employee that the outside unit wasn’t climate control with a rodent infestation because someone had macaroni in there unit.I asked for a refund or a transfer to a climate controlled unit and they told me that all I could receive back of my $95.64 was $19 for the lock fee. These people are crooks with rodent infestation units. Do not rent from these people!!!

Almost impossible to get in and out. Can't get in storage unit without having to move every time someone needs to drive by. The aisles are barely wide enough for two cars to pass each other, if you park to get in your unit, when someone needs to pass they must wait for you to move and they are mostly quite rude about it.
The manager, I believe her name is Deborah, is extremely nice. The only reason for the 3 stars is they are extremely quick to cut your lock off and will send your property to auction quicker than any other storage facility I have ever heard of.
I would give it zero stars if I could there is no office it’s right off the highway I could not get paid for my application fee I could not log into the app I had a lady that I talk to customer service was very helpful but I still couldn’t do anything they said that they get a lot of break-ins so they had to put it in a special lock that I did that in the change in the dollar entry fee I highly do not recommend this unit the storages
They lied about my rent not being paid, AND JUST SO HAPPENS THEY LIVE AT THE FACILTY AND SOMEBODY (THEM) BROKE INTO MY STORAGE MARCH 17TH2022 - MARCH 24TH,2022... IF YOU ARE ANYBODY KNOWS SOMETHING ALSO A GOLF CART WAS SWITCHED...WILL PAY FOR INFORMATION!!!

No office at this location. Did the e-rental online. Went to check out the unit and the top portion was hanging on by a screw. Went to closest office to be transferred to another unit. The unit I was transferred to was full of mice droppings. I asked for a refund. I was told 3 to for business days. 4 days later im told 5 to 7 business days and it'd be a check... I was refunded my lock fee back to my account. The remainder Im told would be mailed to my p.o. box 80 miles away. On top of that I'm being charged a $27 admin fee for something that wasn't acceptable. I basically paid $30 to go waste my time and gas and effort in trying to do business with public storage.
