Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 150 Dominion Drive, Katy, TX

Used to be good place to get a storage unit but recently they start jacking the price to more than double once they know you put bunch of stuff in your unit , also bathrooms closed at all time so if you need to use restroom you better stop by a closed gas station before you come to this place .

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service at the location at 150 Dominion Dr., where I have multiple units. I have been facing ongoing issues with two of my units for over six months, and despite numerous complaints, no action has been taken. For the past two months, the air conditioning in my climate-controlled units has not been functioning properly. The temperature inside the units is often between 85 and 88 degrees Fahrenheit, yet I am paying for climate control. Whenever I bring this issue to the manager's attention, I receive inconsistent responses, such as "it's set for 79 degrees" or "it's set for 82 degrees," which they claim is Public Storage policy. This is unacceptable and needs immediate attention from the responsible party, whether it is the district manager or another authority. Additionally, I have noticed that the rental price increases every six months without any clear justification. When I inquire about these hikes, I am told that it is a system issue and nothing can be done about it. I am now seeking a better storage facility where the company genuinely cares about its customers. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend Public Storage to anyone considering their services.

Very good costumer service Amera went above and beyond to help me rent a storage and Amira helped me out a lot by selling me boxes and blue sheets to cover my stuff and some tape for my boxes which helped me out a lot so I totally recommend this to people looking to rent storages.

Keeps raising the rate every 90 days. Other reviewers note the same but I didn’t listen. Avoid. Update 3/24: Received a call from their team shortly after leaving this review and the representative said they’d lower my rate back to the original price I had of $63/month for a 5x10 unit. Here we are 3 months later back to trying to charge me $77/month again with no phone call or notice or anything sent to my email. I pay $80 a month for 10x10 unit for two motorcycles from a different provider just two intersections north on Fry from this Public Storage Location. Not sure where Public Storage gets the balls to charge almost $80 a month for half as much space as the local competition.

Tyler and Michelle were super helpful and kind. Thanks to them I was able to get my first storage at a super affordable price. I 100% recommend this storage facility.

This place is unsafe, they are hanging around all the time when you are in your unit, I was in the bathroom and they opened the door without first knocking on the employee named RANDY, I complained to the "manager" DAMI and he told me that it was normal because The bathroom doors should always be locked, the bathrooms are always dirty and in poor condition, BUT THEY ARE ALWAYS RAISING THE PRICES....No improvement, advantage or at least good service or respect.... Answer:There is no first class service here, we are talking about violation of privacy, disrespect and harassment, the only thing that is first class is what they charge, which increases for no reason, abuse of this nature is not coherent for this answer.. .. I'm sorry, it's an unacceptable situation.

Absolutely DO NOT rent from this place. Security is an absolute joke. This place allowed everything in my unit to get stolen by a random person. Did not even ask for an ID or anything, all they had to just provide a number and they took everything! They said "someone came to vacate my lot" and When I asked them how this happened, they said it was MY fault! All a person needs is a phone number and they can take everything from you. DO NOT RENT HERE.

Update 2023: They get you in with a promotional rate, but after a while will start increasing the rates about every two months, when you plane for long term and hesitate to bear the bother and fee of displacing, YOU SHOULD BE READY GRADUALLY PAY UP TO 2 EVEN 3 TIMES OF DAY 1 CONRACT ... this really needs to be stopped...Review of 2019: The storage and the office were very clean and tidy, prices were reasonable and the office agent, Rachelle was very welcoming. She was understanding and fast, gave me the info, no push and polite.

It's excellent at keeping your stuff safe. Staff and management are always friendly and helpful when needed. Loses stars for: There are no available rubbish bins/dumpsters on-site. The one pair of restrooms are frequently locked. Courtesy carts have gone from 3 down to 2. Edit: my earlier criticisms were quickly addressed, changing review from 3 ⭐️ to 5⭐️!
