UPDATE: District Manager Ty contacted me about my concern. We discussed my issue and came to a resolution that I was pleased with. I updated my rating accordingly.
I was charged $19.99 + tax for a lock the I did not authorize. I was emailed several documents when I rented the unit, one of which was a receipt for the initial month. At the bottom was the lock charge (which I did not authorize). The Rental Agreement, which is the binding document for the rental, did not say anything about being charged for a lock. I spoke to PS and their policy is not to refund the charge even though I did not use it or even realize it was inside the unit. They would rather lose a customer than refund a $20 lock charge, for a lock that was not even used!
I WILL NEVER rent from public storage again, regardless of how convenient they may be.

I was on the fence between several different storage locations near DFW. So I made the $$$ investment and tried two of them before my big move. OMG Maya is the absolute best. She actually answers the phone. She calls you back like she says she will. Other locations nearby you can’t even get a live person on the phone, which is nerve-racking when you’re traveling in and out state and you have questions and really need answers. I had a rocky move-in, but she got involved, saw the problem. Fixed it. I’ve watched her do the same for other customers. If you’re planning on moving in, do yourself a favor and make sure Maya is a part of it! Or at least ask for her lol 😅 Thank you Maya! 🙏🏽

We are looking for a unit that we can back a trailer into. Monika was very diligent to help us find a unit. Although we could not make any of the units work at her location, she went that extra mile and helped us find a unit at another Public Storage location. She saved us an enormous amount of time with the help she showed us. I don't know what you pay her but it sure is not what she is worth! I sure wish I could have rented at her location.

Ask for Ryan when you go in here. He is awesome. He took the time to explain everything and made sure we got the right unit. His attention to detail was amazing. He very carefully explained how to enter and exit, and also showed us how to efficiently load and unload. He walked us to the unit, and showed us where the lights were and how to get in and out.

I work for UPS and we have a storage at this facility. And Ryan who works the front office is the best. I literally come in contact with no stores or restrooms and he lets me use his which I'm grateful for. He is always in a good mood and treats us with kindness.
