Dallas Climate Controlled Storage Units Near I-635
All indoor self storage units in Dallas are located near I-635 between U.S. 75 and Dallas North Tollway. Cheap storage units range from lockers to large storage rentals capable of holding the contents of a two-bedroom house.
Tuck away your golf clubs at the front of a 5x10 storage unit after playing a round at Northwood Club, which is just a mile away from the storage facility. I reserved a unit two weeks prior to moving in. I’ve had 2 people called me to confirm the reservation both time I said yes . The 2nd confirmed call I asked if I can come in a sign the papers a couple days early before the move in date because I want no problem on the day of the move in.whoever I spoke with told me I can sign the paperwork online when I ask if he could send me the link he wasn't able to send it and said I would have to come in, no problem I told him I’ll be there the next morning at 10am.Got to the office to sign only for him to tell me the unit I reserved was no longer available and the units are first come first serve . So I asked what was the reservation for ?he said to reserve the price?!?? So I asked why was I called to confirm the unit if they didn't have it?!?? He said the unit are a first come first serve…again so why was I getting calls to confirm if the unit I reserved was no longer available and when was I going to be notified that it’s no longer available.
Ashley is simply the best. Everyone if you need a storage please see her she goes above and beyond.
I'm so upset. I got this unit last week because I had planned on cleaning up my guest bedroom over the weekend. I've visited 6 times since Friday (10/18) and the doors won't open because the system is offline. It was absolutely necessary for me to clean up my guest bedroom because my wedding is this Friday (10/25) and I will have family staying with me. I've called numerous times and they don't answer the phone. I've left voicemails and even called their corporate office, who said all they could do is create a ticket for the property manager. The property manager is the one not answering the phone, so I really thought corporate would be more helpful. Awful experience. Please consider a facility that won't lock you out of the space YOU PAID FOR.

I will leave my 1 star review because I still think the facility and corporate failed me. But I want to say that when Becca called me back and heard my situation, she went above and beyond to help me. She was able to transfer me to another unit and even went all the way around the building to manually open the doors and let me in. She's very sweet, kind, and understanding. I hope her boss knows that she deserves a raise.

Moving is stressful. So great to receive great customer support. I had already paid for a unit, but was worried it might be too small, so I reserved a bigger unit. I called and spoke with the District Manager. He advised best course of action: come in, see which unit fit best; transfer payment if needed. Great! Came in and store clerk, Cesar Robles, totally ran with what his DM had advised. No hassles. Showed me both units, plus a third larger unit. Helpful at every stage, with every question. Like I said moving is stressful. So to have someone like Cesar take down the pressure of that stress was a blessing.

I recently started using this facility and worked with Will to get set up. He was very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. He has been wonderful in answering my questions and helping me take care of my storage needs. I am glad I found a place with amazing customer service because nowadays that’s hard to find anywhere. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Doors chronically out of order or broken, one elevator hasn’t worked in months, and we even suffered a break-in - BUT THE FEES KEEP GOING UP! Since Public Storage bought this property, it’s obvious they care little about their property and more about cashing in on fees. We’re going to Extra Space on Montfort.

My review of the facility however is MUCH different! And so since I have nothing nice to say, I’ll say nothing about that.
Andrew helped me so much through my language barrier and he is a good property manager and took time to explain everything. He is very passionate and helped me alot.

Great customer service. Very reasonable pricing. All units are indoors. Security access for entries and elevators. I highly recommend them.
By far the worst storage option available. I had two locks on my unit, and when I went to check on it, one of those locks had been removed. I asked Lola what happened and she said they've had a bunch of break-ins. She gives me another lock and tells me it will make sure everything is safe. I come back a few months later and both of the locks on my storage unit had been removed (including the lock she provided that she told me would make sure my unit was safe) and my storage unit had been broken into with multiple valuable items stolen. When I tried to figure out what happened, Lola was combative, unhelpful, and refused to check any security footage. Would avoid at all costs. I've attempted to contact Public Storage's corporate office and have not received any response.
I wish they wouldn't have upped the prices but they are still really decent as far as self storage goes.
Delores (Lola) was phenomenal. She explained everything throughout the whole process of getting set up with a unit. Definitely recommend her.
Super inconvenient when none of the elevators in the building work. You guys are charging us way too much as it is & we should be able to gain access to our items without all the hassle. & signs throughout the building indicating clear directions to the stairs would be nice. It’s like you’re walking through a maze that leads nowhere.
Works when you start to downsize
DO NOT RENT HERE! The place is awful. I have had a unit there for about 7 months and they have jacked my rate up twice now. The first time was after renting there for only 4 months. It went from $180 (10x10) to $240. When I called about it they were able to lower it the first time but the second time they said “in the rental agreement I agreed to rent hikes after the first year” and denied the adjustment. Meanwhile, I haven’t even rented there for an entire year yet. Here in Dallas there are so many option. Don’t pick this one. This is such a great way to make sure customers don’t come back. I’ll be vacating and finding a new storage unit where they actually care about the customers.
Lola was wonderful. She explained everything and made sure we didn't have to pay for insurance or locks we already have. The facilities are almost brand new and she made sure we understood when to renew, the days to pay, and that the app can make things easier. She was a pleasure to talk with and rent from. We just rented today, making a reservation and walking in minutes later. Time will tell if anything weird happens, but so far so good!! If you need to rent a unit, and need someone with great common sense, see LOLA!
Horrible, this "secure" storage has break ins all the time, one person on duty is never in office (i get it there are things that need to be taken care of) however if you need help/dolly/equiplemt or need to ask a question you can stand outside waiting for and hour
someone tried to break into my unit and broke off the latch of the lock, office attendant had ZERO empathy, I'm told have to waulit 3 weeks to get my lock cut off or pay for locksmith; my 6 year old daughter is DEVASTED because all our Christmas decorations are in there
Have been calling number given for district manager for 4 days have gotten NO RESPONSE
Lola, one of the managers here at this site is one of the best managers ever. She helped me when my unit got burglarized with calling the police and showing me how to eat fowl insurance. She is one of the best here at public storage so whenever you’re renting a storage, please get with Lola. She’s the best.

If I could do a 0 star I would, our storage was broken into due to no good security or cameras. We only have 2 weeks so far and lost 8,000 worth of valuables that we will never get back. Receptionist Lola stated that some were caught but not all and that they climbed over to view into our unit also that it was multiple units broken into not just ours. Don't go here unless you are okay with people stealing your stuff.
Public Storage took over & I RAN. AWFUL staff. Especially Dolores. Very very rude! allowed 2 white men to PARK their cars in the loading dock when not loading anything & when I brought in my uHAUL my freaking UHAUL you know, those BIG moving trucks she had the audacity to follow me around the building WHEN LITERALLY CARRYING THINGS INTO MY UHAUL IN 100 DEGREE WEATHER to make ME move from the loading dock. I was already blocked in by 2 other trucks but OF COURSE she doesn't tell the truckers to move! RUDE RUDE CRANKY OLD WOMEN who shouldn't have any business in customer service but maybe in a rehab.
Service is terrible. Complaints are met with excuses.Access is limited as doors are often broken and on-site manager can’t be found. Carts are seldom available. And to make matters worse rents keep going up.
DO NOT RENT HERE!!! You will have your items stolen and homeless people live inside there as well. When public storage toke over EVERYTHING went down hill tooo many problems. They are always (“fixing “) the doors/elevators. Dolores seems to always have an attitude.
Public storage purchased the property I originally rented with. My monthly bill has increased TWICE in 6 months!.for a total of almost $20 more than I was paying. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!

I completely agree with Jaxon review.. They have went down hill since switching to Public Storage! Please do not go to Public Storage, plus they are raising their prices and its soo many other storage units that are much nicer and cheaper! Please stay away!
Since Public Storage (formerly storage 365) has taken over its been a down fall. Multiple missed and misunderstood communications between staff and customers. Manager never called back only had property worker doing everything. Code randomly gets locked, they locked my gate code because they swore my unit was not properly secured, upon walking to unit with site personnel they saw the unit was properly secured. Its so much I could list, but refuse.
There's a much nicer and better storage unit 2 miles down the street, they are cheaper and definitely have great customer service!
Was previously storage365 and their staff was phenomenal. Now they have switched to Public Storage has been a down hill since. The facility is always dirty, they have been going through multiple staffing changes. I was set up on autopay with storage365 they switched to Public storage and my account gets behind they failed to CALL me to let me know of the changes instead charged late fees and called when the payment was late. Please stay away from this, I suggest there are other storage units close by who are cheaper (As they have raised prices) and better customer service
The access door is always open at night. The workers don't clean up mess around building in front of the doors.Bathroom hasn't had paper towels for 2 weeks.
