BEWARE!!! After 3 months my rent was raised from $131 to $174 without notice. They claimed they sent an email to my main account but it "wasn't working"? I haven't had any other email problems. From what I have now read, they are doing this across the board. If you want a 32% increase, sign yourself up! Don't believe the price they quote you.

Five stars changed back to two stars.
The doors only open for five seconds exactly (I timed it). The customer does not know which of the two elevator doors will open, if the customer’s cart is in front of the wrong elevator door, 5 seconds is not enough time to maneuver a laden cart to the other elevator before the doors have already closed. Even if the cart is at the correct door, 5 seconds is still BARELY enough time for the customer to get to the back of their cart and give it enough momentum to get into the elevator before the doors being to closed. When the customer has accessed the elevator panel with their secure code or phone app, there is absolutely no practical or security reason why the length of time the doors are open could not be doubled to 10 seconds.
2) The app does not perform the correct functions for the elevators. The following security issues happen EVERY SINGLE TIME. When I click the “Elevator Keypad” access link in the app, the door to the corridor on the left can be heard to unlock. This IS a security issue as I should not have access to that corridor. This is a customer service issue because I am trying to get in the dang elevator. When clicking the “Elevator Keypad” access link in the app a second time it is a crap shoot, either the left hand corridor door will audibly unlock again, or more often the right hand door will unlock - now I have been granted access to a second area that I should not have access to AND I still don’t have my elevator). Clicking the “Elevator Keypad” access link in the app a third or forth time may or may not open the elevator or either corridor, I just have to keep trying it until eventually the elevator door opens. This is just poor programing of the app and elevator modules.
3. Last night the "out gate" was locked in the upright position. Security issue. Technically I could have come into the facility without logging in, got into either of the two downstairs corridors using the poorly programmed elevator button done whatever, and left without logging out. This is not the security I expect.
4. And disappointed that there are still no maps in the corridors.

After my initial review (below), I was contacted by the Facility Manager and District Manager regarding my negative experiences. I felt my suggestions, observations and experiences were fully heard, understood and taken seriously.
If and when I see implemented the solutions proposed to me by management, I will have no reservations in editing this review to 5-Stars.
Excellent customer service should always be recognized.

The front door to the building is broken.
While I understand that security is tantamount, please allow the customer more than four seconds to get out of the elevator
Despite having rented many storage spaces in several states, I I was literally lost three times on the second floor on my first visit yesterday.
Access "history" on the app is not "history" if it only shows the last time the unit was entered or exited by the customer. That is not "history," that is simply "last." It would take zero effort for your web programmer to include the actual "history," even if you limited it to the last 5 or 7 days.
Also, the history table heading "Entry," is erroneous because it actually shows the customers last action. Every customer's last action will be an "exit" unless they are still in the building. Change it to "type."
In conclusion,
put up some dang arrows pointing to the elevator before you find someone at 6AM, rocking in a unit repeating, "9pm, must be gone by 9pm. 9pm. 9pm"

Used it for two months. Everything was excellent. I would rent it again.
Ever since public storage took over this place from US storage its been crap. First there was no warning they would take over, just a welcome letter. Then their insurance is more expensive than the last and I was never credited as promised for the first months rent with them. Now I go to check on my items and they have the easy access door inaccessible. I have a disability and not about to do all that walking just to access my unit. Their reason? Security. Mind you they have cameras and a gate thats only accessible for a certain time period each day. It was a dumb idea by management and im likely to move to the storage company next door. We pay too much per month to put up with the nonsense. I've heard about the other customers at this particular facility that got screwed by the transition as well.

Changed ownership. Didn't notify anyone who had automatic payments that they were no longer automatic. Got a notice in the mail saying I was 3 months behind and they were going to auction my belongings. The place next door is much cheaper and more importantly, cleaner. As I was moving my stuff out, I found mouse droppings all over the floor under my furniture that I'd been keeping there.
Harry was fantastic, very helpful and made the process much easier
I started out with US Storage paying $55 a month for my very small 5x10. They tried to up it to 150 in October. I called spoke with a manager and they lowered it to 79 a month and said it would stay at that price. Now it's been bought by Public Storage and my rent went up to $140. That's ridiculous and a huge price change. Online on their website, my same size storage unit is $55 a month. So FYI guys the price online means nothing because in a few months it's going to go up $50-$75 a month. We will be moving our storage unit.
