We have had multiple storage units at this facility for years. We never had an issue at all before it got bought out by Public Storage. I downsized 2 of my units to 1 and they have raised the price every month since we have had it since June. It has gone up $84.00, this is insane. The gate is broken more than it works so it is not super secure and always open. Sometimes it is broken half way up and you can’t even get in. I watched a couple carry their items from the gate all the way to their storage unit. I take a photo every day with a time stamp to show how often it is broke. Brandy and April try their best to help but you can never talk to anyone else. None can tell me why my unit keeps increasing in price. Now I go and my app that lets you into the unit won’t let me log in and it says I don’t have an account. I called and they had to remote open my unit for me. Now I’m being told to download the old app from the previous owners to get in. I am at my storage unit almost daily and this is a major inconvenience. The people 4 units down from us have carpet and rugs down and looks like a car business. I have complained multiple times about the sparks we see in there. If they cause a fire it will send the whole building up in flames. Also it is not 24/7 access anymore, which is also a inconvenience. If it’s really secure it should be.
DO NOT rent from this place!! I rented 2 units SAME size but for some reason they decided to double my rent on (1) unit saying it’s due to demand for those units and they can change it at their own discretion per contract! but yet they had several available to rent on their website 🤔. This continued for 5 months and would not fix it. They know it’s hard to move and inconvenient so it’s puts the customer in a bad situation. Then when I got my stuff out of there, the digital locks wouldn’t work and no one was onsite on a Saturday morning to help! Wasting 2 hours of my U-Haul time while calling several people, including the manager and no one answered! But let’s just use the virtual assistant in the lobby to help which doesn’t load, what a joke! Then to top it off, I moved out by logging on my account so they wouldn’t try to bill me again (photo attached) but what do they do, bill me! Saying I didn’t move out and rent is behind (photo also attached). This is by far the worst customer service I have seen in my lifetime. I have spent more time fixing their crap then all the times I had to take my garbage out. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere and not here!
Normally, I would rate them as a five star business, but I haven’t been able to get anyone to answer the phone. Are Brandy & April still there? That’s not like them. They have always been so helpful & dependable!

Loved the on hand staff member Mrs.April. She was there by demand of another customer who was a no show yet she saved my time and day of not having to use a machine (no offense) b/c she in fact was being helpful. Yet having that personal touch beats any other customers service features.

I tried to set up storage arrangements online but I was not sure of the size unit I needed so
I went to the Public Storage Facility in Greer to check it out. I met Brandy the Representative and also the District Manager at Public Storage at the Greer SC location. These are two of the nicest and engaging people I have met hands down since my move. They made rhe process very simple and plesant. Thanks guys.

That’s long gone & significantly inconvenient now.
No point in reservations. I made one showed up to move in, no one was on site and they canceled the reservation on me. Customer service was not helpful at all.
I went in not sure what size unit to get and April helped me tremendously! She was so nice and helpful! I have never meant such a sweet person! She made move in a breeze!

Clean storage units, various sizes available and I especially appreciated Brandy’s helpfulness and positivity, even on a weekend when my friend was in urgent need for storage and she was trying to help, while also facing system issues. She definitely went above and beyond to provide what we needed.
As a result of Public Storage's acquisition of the previously 24-hour operational facility, a change in operating hours from 6am to 9pm has been implemented. This modification has raised concerns, particularly among business tenants utilizing the 1000sqft units, including our own.
Given the critical need for unrestricted access to storage facilities by businesses, the revised operating hours may pose significant challenges and disruptions to our operations. In light of this development, we regret to inform you that we will be seeking alternative storage arrangements.
During our interaction with the new management, there appeared to be a lack of clarity regarding the timeline and communication surrounding this transition. This uncertainty has compounded the unease among tenants, underscoring the importance of clear and timely communication during such transitions.
We trust that you will recognize the necessity of maintaining a balance between operational changes and the needs of tenants, particularly businesses that rely on storage units for their operations. We urge the management to address these concerns promptly to ensure a smooth transition for all tenants.
