Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 3715 Blossom Dr NE, Salem, OR

An annoying encounter today with staff. I often ride a Segway to and from the storage unit. Last time I made the round trip, my battery was low. This morning I made the trip there, and plugged the Segeay into a power outlet by the office. Office wasn't open when I arrived, and I figured it was safe. I completed my tasks and was ready to leave. I was heading to the office to see if the staff was in so I could let them know I had plugged into that outlet (and to thank them). Well a staff person stared me down as I approached the office. The staffer accused me of avoiding her (I thought she was joking and laughed at first), then she immediately commented about my Segway being in a vulnerable spot (I was comfortable enough with the environment to leave it plugged in at that location), and, lastly, she made the statement that I knew it's wrong to use Public Storage's energy for private use?! That comment blew me away. The Segeay maybe slurped a nickle's worth of power while it was plugged in. I only wanted to get a little bit of a charge so I didn't run out on my way home as it was cold outside. I've been a customer for over a year. I've had friendly chats with staff. Never been difficult with the business. This encounter was bizarre and ridiculous. Of all the ways to handle the situation, this was not the way to go. Motivated me enough to write this review and rank a single star. Congrats, you made your point that I'm a thief of services. I'll own it. Let me know when you want me to drop by the office to leave you a dime to cover your loss.

We were never told that they were taking over! The first thing that they did was came in and hiked up the prices! Because of my hand being crushed at work we obviously couldn't afford the increase so we decided to move out and we wanted to pay a prorated amount because it was so early in the month the manager said there was no way that they could do that but if I decided to stay with them they could give me a discount! To be completely honest and not even worth one star this is such a horrible company that I will never deal with again

Prices are always rising here, it is ridiculously expensive to store at this business. They will raise your rent after a month of doing business with them.

Continuously raising the rent every few months because of "supply and demand" is ridiculous, I start a contract paying $65.00 and am now paying $94.50 Edit - prices continue to rise for NO apparent reason. Now paying $106.00 for a 5x5. Mind you my contract started at $65.00. So disappointed and will be moving my items out ASAP.

Thank you Christian for your awesome customer service! This public storage is a great location, hidden so there’s not a lot of foot traffic and you feel comfortable loading and unloading without having to worry about people seeing your belongings.

But due to the unparalleled service, care, attention, and friendliness of Jennifer at this Public Storage location it compels me to leave a review. If you seek the same kind of customer care I highly recommend. I believe there are units still available.
