I've been a customer for over a year, and I've had friendly chats with staff. Never been difficult with the business. Had one encounter with the business that was awkward, and going to chalk up that experience as an outlier. After a misunderstanding, the business staff approached me to apologize for a bad encounter. Glad we resolved the issue. The employees are chatty and accommodating when they get to know you. The personnel ARE vigilant when it comes to monitoring, investigating, and securing the facility. Unfortunately, considering the times and location, crime and vagrants are a risk in Salem. I've never had any concerns or endured any loses while a client at this Public Storage location.

We were never told that they were taking over! The first thing that they did was came in and hiked up the prices! Because of my hand being crushed at work we obviously couldn't afford the increase so we decided to move out and we wanted to pay a prorated amount because it was so early in the month the manager said there was no way that they could do that but if I decided to stay with them they could give me a discount! To be completely honest and not even worth one star this is such a horrible company that I will never deal with again

Prices are always rising here, it is ridiculously expensive to store at this business. They will raise your rent after a month of doing business with them.

Continuously raising the rent every few months because of "supply and demand" is ridiculous, I start a contract paying $65.00 and am now paying $94.50
Edit - prices continue to rise for NO apparent reason. Now paying $106.00 for a 5x5. Mind you my contract started at $65.00. So disappointed and will be moving my items out ASAP.
