I recently had a fantastic experience with Public Storage, thanks to Pam from both Pickerington location and Yasi from the Kenny Rd location. Immediately following my attempts to make a reservation online I received a call from Pam to gather more information. At that time Pam was helpful in provided all the information I needed upfront and alerted me that my plan to have our belongings dropped off via a moving truck wouldn’t work, giving me time to adjust. In the meantime, while juggling too many tasks post-move, I accidentally booked a unit farther away than I intended. I went to the Kenny Rd location to fix this issue where I was greeted by Yasi. Yasi went above and beyond to help me understand and fix the issue. Even though she couldn’t resolve everything on her end, she made sure I knew exactly what to do next. Pam followed up afterward, working with me to clear up the residual confusion I had caused and patiently worked with me to get my plans back on track.
I feel both Pam and Yasi could sense my stress (moving to another state is SO stressful), but they approached my concerns with professionalism, kindness, and understanding, and for that, I’m beyond grateful. I highly recommend Public Storage for their excellent customer service and the teamwork of both Pam and Yasi in helping this new Ohioan experience the friendliness and hospitality of the Midwest.

I wish this was a 24-hour facility where we would be able to come and go as needed throughout the night, if necessary, without breaking rules. The policy apparently doesn't permit this, although it would certainly be very convenient.
Otherwise, the grounds are safe and clean. This location is away from riff-raff, unlike many of the other facilities around Columbus. We don't need to worry about the safety of our property here.
We have had no issue after the name change. The staff here is polite and very helpful.

The managers and the staff at Simply Self Storage on Fisher Road in Columbus (Hilliard area) have been very kind and very helpful throughout the process. In mid-January 2021, I called on a Sunday morning with a last-minute request to move my belongings into a 10' x 10' storage unit. Within 10 minutes, I had reserved a unit. And I moved my stuff into the storage unit later that same day.
My storage unit is very clean and well-lit, with highly visible security cameras throughout the property. The property and parking lot itself are well-lit -- and feel very safe and secure.
The location of the Simply Self Storage property on Fisher Road is ideal -- minimal street traffic and quick, easy access from I-70 between the Hilliard-Rome Road and Wilson Road exits.
As for price, I don't think you can do any better than Simply Self Storage. I looked at several other storage facilities along Hilliard-Rome Road and other locations in the same area. By far, the best monthly rental cost I found for a 10' x 10' storage unit was Simply Self Storage. The company website is great, too. The three-dimensional graphics which give you a practical idea of how much stuff you can fit into your storage unit are very helpful. And the pricing options are very simple and straightforward.
Thanks to everyone at Simply Self Storage -- Lisa, Christa, and Lex -- for making the process of quickly finding a storage unit and moving in my belongings a very easy, stress-free process. I highly recommend Simply Self Storage to anyone in Columbus looking for a safe, secure, clean, affordable place to store your stuff.
