I have had a rental unit at the 11163 S 168th St
Omaha, NE location for several months and my communications with Justyn Wittzke have always been of complete professionalism on his part, along with his exceptional customer service.
I found myself in an unfortunate situation (on very short notice) that was preventing me from being able to remove the remaining items in my unit, which were larger than my own vehicle could accommodate. I was extremely stressed and anxious about finding other means that would allow me to vacate in a timely manner. I spoke with Justyn about my problem and he took the time to really listen to me regarding the obstacles that I was facing. He assured me that he would work to find a solution that would allow me time in finding alternative transportation so that I could fully vacate the larger items from my unit. Thankfully, I was able to do so before the end of my rental period.
It is becoming increasingly rare to find individuals working in the business sector who truly value their customers. Justyn demonstrated his value of me as a customer by his empathy and and understanding regarding my situation. I will forever be grateful to him for his assistance in my time of need. He represents Public Storage in the best and most positive way, and I want express my appreciation and emphasize his value to the company as a truly outstanding employee. My experience with Justyn has been one that makes me more than happy to recommend the South 168th location to others for their storage needs.
I’ve rented here a couple of different times. It wasn’t always peaches and crème, but now they have Justin managing the property! He is professional, prompt and follows through. He pays attention to the property and called me when he noticed something out of the norm with my unit. I’ve listened and watched him with other clients and have seen him dash off to another property to keep an appointment with a client. Companies are only as good as the people they hire and Public Storage is a better company with Justin on their team.
Rented a unit and paid electronically online, went to the place and it's too small so the manager says to call customer service for a refund. Customer service says "Yes, the refund is processing.... you'll receive a refund check in 6-8 weeks in the mail". You can withdraw it electronically pretty easy but can't refund the same way???? What a joke!!
I have never had a worse experience. It is so bad I’m on here doing this as a business owner and I hate this. I had rented a storage unit from this location to store a Utv called the number. The renting process went smoothly dealing with customer service initiallyon the phone, paid for the space showed up at the location to utilize the space to find my space that I had rented was already occupied. when I placed an order they offered me a month free that was nice. When I called back to the customer service department and let them know that the space was already occupied. They said oh we’ll go ahead and go to another one out that one was also occupied as well. Called Back again to find out that I lost my free month because I had to move spaces. The space that they put me in did not have a padlock which I paid for at this point I was just super frustrated and let them know that I would take my business elsewhere and I would like to cancel. Never moved into the space never occupied the space, never did get a refund initially. The refund that I did get after I charged back to my credit card was $50 less than what I had paid initially. Then I had a collections agency calling me because I had charged back in which they still owed me. I would be very careful about using public storage. I would suggest using somebody else.
You guys can stop sending me messages. That's why I put in the vacate notice through the app like 2 days after I rented the unit. You rented me a unit that was already occupied. So I was never even able to move into the unit. As well as I called twice to let y'all know about the issue and it was never corrected.
I'm not paying anything else due to the fact I was never even able to move into the unit that you rented me.
Oh yeah I never got the lock that I paid for either.

I deployed back in November and cleared my space. They failed to process the cancellation and continued to charge me. It has been 4 months of conversation back and forth and the management continues to say I will not be charged for that time. Today I got a letter in the mail FROM DEBT COLLECTION demanding payment for this time. Management now says there is nothing they can do but is trying to just wave the last month of charges. For the sake of your sanity, steer clear here
Friend bought unit online. Drove 200 miles met 2 retired cops from Sioux City, they got same "treatment" if you could call no service at all "treatment". No person on site, display tvs in office unhooked, looked VERY suspect, now he's out gas $ and the stuff inside for resale. He speaks highly of this company. He has Never seen one that u didn't need the code unless gate was broke, but it was WIDE OPEN, BEFORE IT WAS OPEN HOURS OVER LUNCH AND THREW THE AFTERNOON. Now time limit for pickup is in 45 minutes. But my question for them is this- You have multiple sites in area but can't send a face/person. Have paid invoice this is a breach of contract. I say this site manager is scamming. SO WITH 4 PEOPLE 2 being retired law enforcement, what site manager can't be found?
Terrible service. Management placed a lock on our unit the day we were supposed to move in, forcing us to extend our U-Haul reservation and pay our movers costing us $300. Manager didn’t show up to our appointment the next day and instead sent her lackey “Jackie” who was as useless as all the broken glass scattered around their complex. Units are all at least a foot short of the dimensions they list.
Continued to try and charge me after I moved out. I moved out and received confirmation the following day.
Horrible company they bait you to access your gate code so you can be charged a month your not in the property after vacating property at end of month.

my unit is 052 rented on Nov last year, all my stuff close to $20,000 worth of electronics, clothes, baby toys, Kitchen stuff, many more has been stolen from this unit on May(2023),
All my certificates, my wife certificates, My kids certificates are gone(including, Birth certificates)
I was informed the next day the lock was missing.
I have called customer service multiple times to get me connected so i can talk to that location manager, so i can ask her for camera footage. I have called customer service close to 5 times, i was told they opened a ticket and the location manager will get in touch with you.
I never got any response till now, and even now that location manager isn't picking any call.
I was told to get an appointment with the location manager, I did and went to location and she showed up 3 hours later.
Hopefully, i will hear a response at-least from this review.
This is a great place to get a storage unit!! Had a great experience, friendly staff, and clean! Had exceptional service from Taylor!

Price went from $58 to $111 for the same unit in 1.5 years time. Come to find out, they are offering new renters the same unit for $76 per month. What a joke.
I needed a storage unit for a short ytime and found the people here friendly and very helpful. The manager, Evan, was extremely friendly and helpful. I will recommend this place to all my friends.
The on site person was very helpful in assisting us in determining the right size of storage we will need in a few weeks.
Tried to rent a unit on Friday it was not the correct size we needed no property manager around to switch it rented another unit waiting to see what could be done while going to the place multiple times to speak with the property manager as well as calling repeatedly over the last 4 days and still nothing would never go here again.

Taylor was excellent!! She helped me move into a unit and recommended I use the website to maybe beat the pricing she could pull up and it did! Not only did she save me money but time too! She deserves a raise for her hard work!!

This location has amazing customer service. Not only do they literally call you right back is they miss your call, but when I needed to adjust my units size they did so on the spot, even though I chose the wrong size and needed it fixed. They just get the job done and fast.
The facilities are new and very impressive. Easy access with the app makes life easy and managing my account couldn’t be simpler.
Lexi was Very helpful hand I feel like she was there to take care of me and help me with my needs and assess me in anyway that I needed help. Definitely recommend going there
