Love this place. Not least of all because of Kirsten S. Super competent, knows her stuff and very friendly to boot. She was the one that checked us in intially and just helped us with a little snafu where we were "vacated" through a clerical error (not her fault, took care of it immediately) Give that gal a BIG raise!

I absolutely love this place! I couldn’t get my door to open. I went to the office and this young lady working there said she’d take a look. She came out with me and was wrestling with it for a couple minutes and finally got it to open.
I didn’t see what it was but a rock or something was jammed between the door and the track. She was very nice and very helpful.

This is at the 102nd and Wiesman location in Omaha. Staff were willing to let me pre-pay to lock in the Labor Day sale rate for a year, since my storage needs are long-term. Easy to do business with and mobile app seems easy to use. They do need an updated map of the climate controlled facility, since I needed a staff person to help me find the unit, which was located between two units in such a way that the numbering was way out of sequence.
Staff was friendly and very helpful.

New, building's are to close together.if someone is loading or unloading in the building upfront NO room for other vehicles to get to their storage unit.the cite was built on a hill.realy step entry to my unit 337.it snowed the day I needed to use my unit I waited all day for snow removal didn't happen.

I managed to do something stupid here - I didn't think it was possible to put padlocks on the door without it actually being latched shut. Sherilynn, the manager, caught it that day, and helped me keep my bike secure until I could rectify it. Great facility, great staff! Thank you!!

Update after years of renting here, my monthly rate has nearly doubled. It comes straight out of my checking so I am never late. Unfortunately they do not let you choose a due date. Only on the first of the month so if you are military getting paid on the 5th and 20th, make sure you're covered on the first. If you don't have the funds, you are charged a late fee in addition to rate increases annually.
I am paying twice the amount a new renter pays for the exact same unit. Unbelievable they can and do increase the price. I need the space and my things are important and valuable to me. Now I feel like I'm a hostage to this facility because I am disabled and not able to relocate.
The Northwest Police Precinct. Gate can be opened with app which eliminates opening car window when it's really cold or hot.
If you lose your lock key, you cannot cut the lock off yourself. Hire a locksmith if you need to get right in. Otherwise they will cut it off at no charge but it may be several days before they get to it.??
If a unit opens up in the row I am in, I will rent it and move all my things. Unethical to raise price when you have been there for years.

Great staff in a great location - right behind a police precinct! They help me donate unwanted items, and call me thousands of miles away when my credit card needs updating. I’ve been a client since it opened in 2016. My entire life was stored here for the last six years. I also appreciate that it was built on high ground, thus the occasional regional flooding that occurs in Omaha never threatens your stuff. This place is a solid choice to store your junk.

This public self storage was absolutely amazing with their customer service. Tom was quickly able to assist me with the storage units and I needed after a long distance move. Excellent service, Tom is super helpful. He has answered all the questions I've had. He has been super quick to answer calls and returns calls quickly after office hours. The units are clean, and the climate control units are cool and dry. So far no leaks in the units I have rented, and have not noticed any in the building.
Would definitely recommend! As a bonus it's located near a police department facility. So you know it has police driving by, in addition to the cameras and other security features Public Storage has.

Tom was extremely helpful in getting everything done on my sisters unit in Chicago. I brought the paper work in and death certificate in and he got everything taken care of. He was so patient and helpful.
I always use public storage when I’m moving! They have such great prices and with my goldfish brain, the lock checks come in handy😅 Also, Tom is on it! He’s so helpful gets us in and out as quick as possible! Definitely recommend!
