Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 9595 NC Hwy 16, Newton, NC

The staff was really nice & the property was very clean, I just moved into this facility. I looked around and this was the best fit for my budget.

The person here was awesome, and gave great information. Not sure if renting but Asher was very courteous and welcoming

I got a perfect size unit for a better price than the other three I checked out/called. When I stopped in the office for some additional assistance, I met a super young man named Asher. He took care of what I needed immediately and was just real nice - eager to help me. I've rented storage units over the years and this was by far the best experience with a storage facility I've encountered. Thanks guys!

I have two confirmations that my payment was received now theyve locked me out saying i owe $108 locked me out of my unit never got anything stating payment was declined i will never use this facility again .

My boyfriend and I just rented a unit with yall and Asher helped us out he was absolutely amazing! Great customer service and very personable!!! Easy and quick process as well! He also he helped hold the door for us while moving things in great experience thank you!!!

Do NOT BELIEVE the old reviews and be very ⚠️ cautious ⚠️ on these asher reviews bc they seem like family and friends just reviewing to bring the ratings up bc the ones saying They raise prices with little notice and I'm not talking a couple dollars try 50plus more monthly (are real not paid for or friends) and I've only had it a couple of months. Absolutely no pest control for high @$$ amounts a month that continueto raise... they charge late fees immediately even tho I am on draft. The lady in the front office doesn't know much when you present her with questions. The 800 number doesn't work...if you call either questions you get hung up on and ones at this facility dont know much and direct you to a number that doesnt work or you get no answer... the lock they make you purchase doesn't work 98% of the time when I need to access my belongings... I will be finding a new location... if you're a couple weeks late they throw your unit into auction... beware this company as whole is out to steal anything they can get their hands on for profit... Pretty scummy as you have no right to throw anyone's unit into auction when less than a full month's rent late... its worth renting a haul and moving my belongings to another place with morals ... leave multiple messages and they still will not return calls or answer after you're already in the unit

I went into the public storage facility, looking for a storage unit, Asher is the individual that assisted me and provided me with everything and every question I had for Asher they were answered.

Over and beyond customer service. Tim what a great asset to the company. And Asher the best always with a smile, and great service since day one.

This storage facility is ridiculous with its pricing... We have been at this location since it opened under previous owners. Since it has been bought out, we have received numerous notices informing us that our monthly payment will be raised. Typically, about $20 to $50 more of what we were already paying. Keep in mind, that the units are very small, not climate-controlled, and no sort of pest control goes into the fees we pay monthly. Since Public Storage has taken over the prices being raised every 2 months have been outrageous for this area considering what their units do not offer.

I had a flat tire up the road and got dropped off by a local man at the Public Storage unit to wait for my dad. Asher let me sit inside with them until my dad was able to come get me, which was about an hour. I really appreciated how kind they were to me. Thank you Asher!

OMG I’m so happy with that service I have it Asher this jogger guy very good human. Good manners, good service I don’t speak good English, and he tried his best with Spanish.
