Went by Newton, NC Public Storage today to check on storage units and rates. Had the pleasure of meeting a husband and wife team of Jeff and Kim. It’s obvious that they work best as a team…they literally finish each other’s sentences!!! It was great to see in a time where customer service has taken a backseat to scrolling on people’s phones …They answered my questions and quoted some rates on different storage units. I’ll be back to see them as soon as I’m ready to make the move. Thanks Jeff and Kim!!!

I had an outstanding experience at this Public Storage location thanks to Jeff Charles. From the moment I walked in, Jeff was welcoming, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain all the storage options, walked me through the unit, and made sure I was completely comfortable with the process before signing anything. His customer service is truly top-tier — friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on helping customers find the right solution. Vickie has the best customer service! When looking into storage unit options, I am in awe of the professionalism, friendliness, care, and love Vickie puts into her job, her renters, and the cleanliness of her facility. I did an online estimate, shopping around. SHE followed up within a few minutes by phone and had me sold in seconds. I hope her higher ups read the reviews and sing her praises from the rooftops. But I would like to point out that Mrs. Vickie and the staff at the Newton location are great. Vickie Inscoe worked with me encouraging me on ways that I could salvage my unit rather than it going up for auction. I was very overwhelmed and she talked with me and talked through dates and options and what would need to be paid following the guidelines that she is allowed by the company. I had breast cancer last year that left a lot of residial bills and expenses. I'm still trying to manage the bare essentials. Before the conversation, I had the attitude of just letting it default. By the end of the conversation, I felt like OK, I can manage to pay that by a certain date and vacate the unit.
