Terrible service. Terrible platform. Would not recommend to anyone. It’s shame you have to write a bad review just to get a call back. Make your own decision. Called customer service to get an explanation on the price increase. I was told it is a computer generated price increase and they could not give me any other reason. I ask for a supervisor and was told it would not help and there was no one else to talk to for an explanation or reason for the increase. I ask for a supervisor anyway and was transferred. I stayed on hold for 30 minutes and no answer. Doesn't seem right to increase the amount that much without some type of explanation. 50% price increase after just a few months. $100 per month increase and only a 30 day notice without an explanation for the reason of the increase.

Terrible customer service the moment you pay all customer service goes out the window. Even the automated phone service customer service is different when you call from a number on the account. There is literally no one ever in the buildings. I thought only one location was this way. They need to have at least one employee there during office hours. I have to move today and my unit is locked still even though I got a text saying it was ready. This has been a complete waste of my time of my day off, and the time of those who came to help. Public Self Storage is an absolute disaster. The call button to the office doesn’t work, the phone number received to call the office goes to voicemail. I have been on hold to speak to customer service 30+ minutes. Save yourself the extra stress and rent a space elsewhere. If you must still use this location, do not do it yourself call and schedule someone to be there. As soon as I paid it went downhill. I contacted the chat service online and they said they can only send a request to contact the manger, and I would hear back in 24-48 hours. Imagine that, and I was told I cannot receive a refund to rent from a place I can actually access. COMPLETE AND UTTER DISASTER!!!

Customer service can be improved greatly. I didn’t feel valued as a paying customer, but felt as if I were being a bother.

From the day I moved in till even months after moving out, this place has been an absolute nightmare. The day I moved in I was told someone would be on site at normal operating hours. I arrived to find no one on property. I tried calling and received no answer. There was another day, during normal operating hours, that no one was on property, that I was having issues with my unit door, and I ended up having to wait HOURS for someone to arrive to solve the issue. On top of other small incidents that just added up over the months that I spent there. Between inaccurate billing and incompetent employees with improper training, my whole experience was a complete nightmare. I was also charged for a full month ($102) after moving out, all because my code was used the day after move out. The representative I spoke with was not willing to help me, and merely stated that "that was policy". I've never been less unhappy with a service in my entire life.

These last few months have been extremely challenging in my personal life. New born baby, Mother in hospital with CHF, and caring for a grandfather with Alzheimer’s. I needed someone that would help me with an extension or something. I went as far as contacting corporate. Each and everyone I spoke with was cold after I explained my situation. But then there was Ms. Daisy whom called me on the day that my things were up for auction; I had already been crying for three days prior to her calling me. Thank God for Ms. Daisy because she heard me and she heard my cries and went above and beyond for me and contacted the buyers for me to at least be able to retrieve some of my baby things and possible important documents that may be in there as well. Thank you Ms Daisy for alllll your help. You are heaven sent.

Manager Jen was very helpful and courteous during the check-in process. She made the transaction very smooth and quickly got my account up and running so that I could move in immediately. If you need storage in the Huntersville/North Charlotte areas, Public Storage is a great option. Very clean facility and in my opinion, highly secure. Thanks Jen!

The location was perfect - easy access and wide parking lot with ready-access doors. The interior was always clean, carts in great working order, and zero garbage from others activities. Great space for the money and you can't ask for better service than what Brie and her team provided. No-brainer decision if you need a storage unit.

The best storage building I've ever rented.It's climate controlIed and has really good security fell good and safe with my belongings being stored here and the price isn't very expensive very affordible. Highly recommend people to use this Public Storage to rent a storage unit.

this storage facility manager is seeking all ways to make you pay more for nothing. I have a STORAGE WHICH I use to pay about 60 $ for 10 X10 the same unite went up to 75$ and DONT mention all the fee and charges in all possible ways. when i was in transition they try to auction my belonging for late payment! sad! they keep calling for payment even in this COVID-19 season, where everyone is going through financial and health challenges. you can't report them to BBB because this location is not in BBB. I am willing to pay my payments when i get paid but now I am is getting their unemployment or wages on time.... I don't think the people running this storage know or care about their customers hardship. I can't wait to leave this please! i HAVE PAID MORE THAN 200$ IN FEES DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME!

My experience with public storage was not good. I removed my items from the storage on the 6th day of the month. The representative stated I still have to pay for the entire month. I asked do they not prorate she stated no. I didn't want that to discourage me, but when I found out that they only have 3 carts on the premises I was furious. She stated the carts were taken. Now I have to load my furniture from the 2nd floor with no cart. Last but not less each time we got on the elevator we have to enter an excess code. Never again will I use public storage again.

Andrea and Bree were kind and helpful; and in the midst of a pandemic, they both took the time to give personal care and attention to a new customer. I have never had a storage unit before, so being new to the process was a little scary by itself. But even more so with the current state of our country and how businesses and interactions with those businesses have been affected. They answered all of my questions, and even added a little humor to my day. Thanks again! Love the new storage unit! It was exactly what I needed, and the perfect price range.

I had the most stressful time closing on my home but Brie made sure that I had no issues with storing my furniture, even though it was for a short time. She was very patient as my date changed a few times but she was great at following up with me and ensured that I got the best deal for my money. I definitely recommend this location, it’s super clean and very convenient to 485.

Brie was very helpful. This was my first experience with renting a storage unit and I didn’t really have a good feel for the sizes. They didn’t have the unit I reserved, so b/c of that and Brie’s patience w/me wanting to compare sizes, I was able to save myself some money and get more space. Good initial experience.

I called the number to get quotes on units and the guy was rude. When he asked for my last name so he could send me a quote I told him I was writing down the prices and didn't need the quote he hung up on me. The good news is you're renting a space and customer service can be secondary, but if you hang up on potential customers you're never going to rent those units out.

Had a great experience with Kody at the Public Space storage in the Huntersville area. I'm a Pastor that's planting a new church in Huntersville and was in desperate need of a new storage of facility. Kody got us acclimated, helped and comforted. So excited. Not about spending so much money lol but about having a new home with support for the equipment for the ministry. Kody was great and we definitely would not have signed up if it had not been for him! Blessings!

This storage facility's staff members did an excellent job of letting me know everything in terms of rental insurance, how to access my storage space, etc. They were also very friendly and personable. In terms of the experience of Public Storage as a business, their initial renting quotes on their websites are completely misleading. The site fails to include the added cost of insurance, the lock and any other beginners fees and all of those fees are required to rent the space. The site told me I would pay $25 but in the end the total was actual more that double that price as I paid $57. Those kind of business practice could have really led to me being dissatisfied with my experience but the workers were so pleasant and I know it is not their fault so for their sake this review gets 5 stars but for the business in general they might get 3. Thank you Brie and Jason!! : )

I love the clean climate control facility. Just need more carts, people keep taking them and it makes it harder on others when moving. Especially when moving things to the 2nd or 3th floor. First time using a storage unit and Brie and Seena were a big help. Thank you ladies.

They'll bait you in with a low price and then screw you. 4 months after moving in my rent went up by 58% and there is nothing you can do about it. They bank on that, knowing that most people won't be willing to move or do anything about it.

The clerks that work upfront are great. However, when you sign up online you don't know about the additional $24 lock you have to purchase until you come in to sign your paperwork. Not, a good practice and kinda sneaky in my opinion. When the online portal gives you a move in cost you need to add another $24 to that. There is constantly someone blocking the loading area and there are not enough carts available. They need to enforce not blocking the door and add about 4 more carts.

Mrs .Brie , Mrs Monique , And Mr Nate have all been such a wonderful help to me and my grandmother ! They are kind, nice, helpful and welcoming. They have helped me in so many ways to the point that I can't even BEGIN to explain. I recommend this public storage to anyone and everyone that needs somewhere to store items . I have been at this location for 4 months and I have yet to have any issues at all With anyone. This location ; unlike others is well managed. The employees here are well trained as well as experienced, very clean and very secured . These 3 workers do a terrific job at what they do ! They all deserve a RAISE !!!

Stay as far away from this facility as possible. They will give you a decent rate but a few months after you move in they will raise your rates and call it a small price adjustment. In my case that small price adjustment was a 81% increase after 4 months. I would call this a new Bait and Switch technique.

Nice storage facility. All inside they have two stories. They have a lot of carts to accommodate moving items into your unit. It can get busy on the weekends and be hard to park or get a cart.

I spoke with Nate McEwen, he was very helpful. I couldn't decide if I needed the 10 x10 or 10 x15, He walked me to both units so I could see the size difference. He also explained to me the price difference. He walked me through all the fees and monthly price. Every question that I asked was answered efficiently.
