Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 20200 Hall Road, Clinton Township, MI

This was a very easy storage rental - all done virtually. Total time to set this up was about 15 minutes and I never even stepped foot on the property until i arrived with my U-haul to unload. If you're strapped for time or even if you're just an intermediate level tech savvy person, I recommend it. Plus price was low, storage unit clean and easy to access.

I called the location and Jessica answered all my questions in a professional and friendly manner. She was super helpful and made the process so much easier. Highly recommended! I can’t compliment the property manager Jessica enough. She’s so helpful!

This has been a great experience so far with public storage. It was easy to book my unit, pay for my unit, access the unit and the unit was clean! I love the app as I had a storage unit with public storage before and although it was simple to just put in the code, the mobile app unlocks it for you. Just a simple tap and the gate opens. Danyelle even reached out to ensure everything ran smoothly and I truly appreciate it. Overall, I’m pleased with my experience.

I am giving these guys 5 stars for one reason and one reason only. Her name is Michelle. She is the very best and the definition of customer service excellence. She has helped me through a few difficult spots and NOBODY else in this company ever came close to her. She is the property manager and for good reason. I would recommend going to the Hall Rd location if you are in the need of storage space[s].

My sister and I were having trouble getting into our unit since this was our first time at the Hall Rd site, so we made a call to customer service and a matter of seconds, Dany was walking around the corner to assist us and she has the most pleasant personality. Dany, thank you again for such excellent service and conversation.

The person at the Kiosk was very helpful, my only complaint is that there’s no actual person at the facility to speak to or assist with problems. Yesterday I had a difficult time locking the unit and when I returned with more items I couldn’t unlock & open my unit. I’m returning on the weekend with more items so I’ll need assistance unlocking my unit, a real person. Sincerely Tamara Engleman

Danyelle literally saved my life and was more than helpful during my storage experience. I lost my keys and was frantically trying to figure out what to do and Danielle was with me for every step along the way and totally didn’t get annoyed when I called her 475 times. A very stressful home buying -selling- moving- kids back from college situation is cause of having to get a rental unit - I haven’t had one in 25 years since college and I was unsure about using storage spot to help ease up move stress - I am glad I looked into it as it will def. help . I chose Public Storage to check out due to location ( but I live closer to others I was also going to today) , 1st level drive up storage , rates/ specials , and month to month short term option. I decided to give them my money and rent a unit here because of front desk clerk Michelle- she was so kind, knowledgeable, helpful , understanding , and did I mention KIND. I don’t often leave google reviews - but when an employee is the reason sole reason I’ve chosen a business - when there are plenty of other options around - well that really says something . Whomever the owner is of this place I hope you are reading this because you need to give her an immediate raise - seriously - because she is driving business here . I’ve never met the woman before today . She is a wonderful employee . There are a ton of these places in close proximity - Michelle’s attitude , knowledge of what to consider , personality , moving / usage tips and caring demeanor are the reason I decided to give my business and money to this company . Also - if you’re in need of unit - check online for specials first to sign up that way ! If you don’t see a special check back a couple If days later !! The unit I rented was also extremely clean which I wasn’t expecting for a drive up non climate controlled unit . The door also opened extremely easy ( not heavy or sticky) and attached rope may seem silly but if you’ve got a bad back that one tiny silly things makes a big difference in ease of opening ! One more bit of info that might help some - even though first month might be free on special ( or if you are paying reg price you’ll have to add this in ) you will still need about 58$ or so to rent unit due to insurance , lock , and intake fee or whatever they call it. I didn’t realize that ! I thought it would just be 30$ . It wasn’t too big of a deal for me today but if you are on a tighter budget it might be info you need . Good luck to whoever is reading this because you might be dealing with stressful situation too!! :)

It was very easy to set up and reserve my storage unit. Great location and easily assessable. Only downsize really is that it’s pretty pricey. It’s about $65 for a 5x5 unit, which is basically a large closet, and I know it’s not competitively priced.
