Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 2033 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, MD

I stopped by the Greenspring Dr location today. I had not rented a storage space before. Mel patiently took the time to answer all my questions and help me select the appropriate size space by showing me several. I have other locations to check out, but the service I received from Mel will weigh heavily in my decision.

I like to plan things ahead of time so I made my reservation a few days ahead of my arrival. Unfortunately, I miscalculated and reserved a unit that was too small! Once I realized my error I went to the reception desk and was greeted by a very friendly, elderly gentleman (I’m sorry I cannot remember his name). He immediately helped me choose a larger sized unit that would accommodate all of my belongings. He noticed that I was having a bit of difficulty walking and so he made an extra effort in locating a unit on the first floor as close to the entrance as possible. He made me feel very welcome and assured me that if I had any questions or issues he would be happy to answer them. The building is clean and free of any debris. There are plenty of carts to assist in transporting your items. I’m very happy with my decision to store my belongings here.

Me and my father went to the public storage 29297 at 2033Timonium/green spring dr was astonished by this kind worker named Melvin. He took his time to understand what we need and treated us with the most respect we’ve ever been treated by a worker. He made the process easy and talked us through every inch of the way. I highly recommend and appreciate Melvin

I visited Greenspring Dr. today as I wanted to get a feel for what it would be like to rent from this location. The property manager, Mel, spent at least 30 minutes showing me spaces, working out which might work best and providing a review of rental policy. Better service than I experienced anywhere. I have a few places left to check out, but so far, Greenspring is the best I have experienced.

I made an online reservation at Public storage a the Timonium location and promptly received a follow-up call from Melvin. I drove over to see various sized spaces--Melvin was incredibly knowledgable about all aspects of the storage options for us---specific locations nearest to elevators and entry door, insurance, pro-rating, etc. He took us through the process and was extremely professional and enthusiastic about the company for which he works. I give him and Public Storage a 5!!!

I stopped by Green Spring Dr again as my need for storage had resurfaced. Mel spent about 30 minutes with me gathering the information I needed to make a selection. I have one more place to investigate, but I'm almost sure that I will select Green Spring. Thanks

This review is not a reflection of the manager at this location. He is pleasant and helpful. This a review of this company. They will raise rates without notice (no email or text, allegedly by regular mail), by 20-50% due to market rates. However, if you go on the website, they are offering a promo rate of $64 and a reg rate of $129. The same 10x10 unit size that I have is now over $200 before insurance. Horrible company. Don’t planning staying long here because if you do, expect to pay 3-5x your original rate.

I recently found a great deal online for the first six months of storage at this Public Storage location and had no trouble setting up my move-in date. The process was smooth, and shortly after booking, the storage unit manager called to confirm all the details. They were courteous and thorough, ensuring I understood the insurance requirements and answering any questions I had. Check-in on move-in day was a bit slow due to computer issues, but the staff remained friendly and helpful throughout. The gate controls worked seamlessly using the mobile app over Bluetooth, which was very convenient. However, the main door and elevator access did not function properly with the app, which made the process a bit more cumbersome. You must enter a long access code every time to use the elevator to access your floor If two people access different floors there is no way to tell which elevator is for you. There was also some confusion when I arrived, as the unit I was assigned wasn’t ready. Fortunately, this issue was quickly addressed and resolved by the staff. That said, the facility itself is clean and well-maintained. While there were a few bumps along the way, the staff’s professionalism and responsiveness made a positive difference. Overall, a decent experience with a few areas for improvement.

So, I was trying to reserve a 10x20 unit online. Once all the information was entered (including method of payment) I hit submit. For 5+ minutes we stared at the screen watching the circle (shows you it's loading) spin. Long story short, I called the store, where I spoke to a gentleman named Melvin who fixed me right up. No problems at all. He was beyond pleasant to deal with. I kept him after closing time and if he was bothered by it, he had a funny way of showing it. Thanks Mr Melvin. I will stop in to say hi next time I stop by my locker.

I have stopped by here EVERYDAY for the past 5 Days (Between 1-3pm) to rent a unit and Everytime I come here there is NO ONE in the office. Today I pulled and the guy in there saw me...locked the doors and dissapeared. UNACCEPTABLE.

Just got a new storage unit here at the Greenspring Drive location. Highly recommend this specific location over the other one close by. Prices are the best. The true gem of PS, Mel is absolutely wonderful. He was so accommodating and let me see a few different units before deciding on one! A true pleasure to deal with! I wish EVERYWHERE had a Mel. He deserves his weight in gold, and that’s no lie! The facility is so clean and well maintained as well. Very happy!
