Billed me last month for two additional units that I have no association with. Manager said he talked to district manager and they agreed that it was not right. On 9/19 the manager left me a message saying he would get it figured out and call Monday. So it’s now 10/27 and I have left several messages but NO ONE has called me back.

Need a fixed rate contract
This review applies only to the app. I needed to change my autopay method. I created the new account number. On one screen it said auto pay was set up, but there was an email that said it wasn’t. After midnight on the due date the app said I was late. I went in and confirmed that autopay was not active and tried to activate it. It didn’t work. So I went to “one time payment”. That appears to have worked. In addition you allowed me to set up autopay. Who knew. Lousy interface. In addition the update contained confusing promos. Notably, it appeared to want to charge me $35 for a “free” CapitalOne shopping app.

His computer skills fixed online problems I had with the website that customer service was unable to fix.

Kai is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely helpful. I was truly blown away by their level of service. They seemed to know everything there was to know and answered questions I didn't even know I needed to ask. Their expertise made the entire process so much easier.
One suggestion Kai made was to look at the storage unit before finalizing the rental. We took that advice both times, and both times we ended up upgrading to a larger unit because seeing it in person helped us realize what we actually needed. That recommendation saved us from choosing a unit that would have been too small.
It's becoming increasingly rare to find someone who is not only knowledgeable, but also friendly, personable, and truly invested in helping customers. Kai provides all of that and more. Because of the fantastic experience renting a storage unit for my husband, I felt completely at ease returning to rent one for myself.
I sincerely hope upper management recognizes what an exceptional employee they have. People like Kai are the reason customers come back, and I have no doubt any company would be fortunate to have someone with their professionalism, knowledge, and outstanding customer service.

The 2033 Greenspring facility is wonderful. It’s clean, safe and has plenty of parking. My favorite part is that it is well staffed with nice and very helpful staff. Kai and Mel who work in the front office are always available to answer questions (or help with a once sticky door) as well as Nick (District Manager) who was on site on one of our visits. I’m a discerning customer and I’m very pleased with the clean, well maintained space, available staff and overall welcoming atmosphere.

Mel the manager, was a terrific help in getting set up and navigating the registration forms. Mel's knowledge, efficiency and courtesy were evident as was his commitment to customer service. The site and locker were clean and the ease of access initially flawless. Later access issues took time to resolve but again, Mel was instrumental in making that process work.
The reason this is not a 5 star review is that the automated functions (voice mail jail and computer glitches) indicate customer service may not be a priority. The inability to process an online payment or resolve simple problems through the website should not still be issues today.

I no longer need storage, but I recommend the Greenspring Dr. location often. As a business person myself, I know how important great customer service is. Greenspring could not be a better example of what customer service should be. I have heard so many complains about local self storage businesses that I feel good being able provide a very positive example. Keep up the good work, Mel!
Stopped by Greenspring today to get storage for my new job. Mel was a huge help and made the process super easy!
I stopped in Saturday to see what this location had to offer. The prices where competitive and the building well maintained. What impressed me most was the customer service offered by the Property Manager, Mel. He spent over 30 minutes showing spaces and reviewing policies. That alone will likely cause me to return and rent.
I stopped by the Greenspring Dr location today. I had not rented a storage space before. Mel patiently took the time to answer all my questions and help me select the appropriate size space by showing me several. I have other locations to check out, but the service I received from Mel will weigh heavily in my decision.
I like to plan things ahead of time so I made my reservation a few days ahead of my arrival. Unfortunately, I miscalculated and reserved a unit that was too small! Once I realized my error I went to the reception desk and was greeted by a very friendly, elderly gentleman (I’m sorry I cannot remember his name). He immediately helped me choose a larger sized unit that would accommodate all of my belongings. He noticed that I was having a bit of difficulty walking and so he made an extra effort in locating a unit on the first floor as close to the entrance as possible. He made me feel very welcome and assured me that if I had any questions or issues he would be happy to answer them. The building is clean and free of any debris. There are plenty of carts to assist in transporting your items. I’m very happy with my decision to store my belongings here.
Me and my father went to the public storage 29297 at 2033Timonium/green spring dr was astonished by this kind worker named Melvin. He took his time to understand what we need and treated us with the most respect we’ve ever been treated by a worker. He made the process easy and talked us through every inch of the way. I made an online reservation at Public storage a the Timonium location and promptly received a follow-up call from Melvin. I drove over to see various sized spaces--Melvin was incredibly knowledgable about all aspects of the storage options for us---specific locations nearest to elevators and entry door, insurance, pro-rating, etc. He took us through the process and was extremely professional and enthusiastic about the company for which he works. I give him and Public Storage a 5!!!

This review is not a reflection of the manager at this location. He is pleasant and helpful. This a review of this company. They will raise rates without notice (no email or text, allegedly by regular mail), by 20-50% due to market rates. However, if you go on the website, they are offering a promo rate of $64 and a reg rate of $129. The same 10x10 unit size that I have is now over $200 before insurance. Horrible company. Don’t planning staying long here because if you do, expect to pay 3-5x your original rate.
I recently found a great deal online for the first six months of storage at this Public Storage location and had no trouble setting up my move-in date. The process was smooth, and shortly after booking, the storage unit manager called to confirm all the details. They were courteous and thorough, ensuring I understood the insurance requirements and answering any questions I had.
Check-in on move-in day was a bit slow due to computer issues, but the staff remained friendly and helpful throughout. The gate controls worked seamlessly using the mobile app over Bluetooth, which was very convenient.
However, the main door and elevator access did not function properly with the app, which made the process a bit more cumbersome.
You must enter a long access code every time to use the elevator to access your floor
If two people access different floors there is no way to tell which elevator is for you.
There was also some confusion when I arrived, as the unit I was assigned wasn’t ready. Fortunately, this issue was quickly addressed and resolved by the staff.
That said, the facility itself is clean and well-maintained. While there were a few bumps along the way, the staff’s professionalism and responsiveness made a positive difference. Overall, a decent experience with a few areas for improvement.

So, I was trying to reserve a 10x20 unit online. Once all the information was entered (including method of payment) I hit submit. For 5+ minutes we stared at the screen watching the circle (shows you it's loading) spin. Long story short, I called the store, where I spoke to a gentleman named Melvin who fixed me right up. No problems at all. He was beyond pleasant to deal with. I kept him after closing time and if he was bothered by it, he had a funny way of showing it. Thanks Mr Melvin. I will stop in to say hi next time I stop by my locker.

I have stopped by here EVERYDAY for the past 5 Days (Between 1-3pm) to rent a unit and Everytime I come here there is NO ONE in the office. Today I pulled and the guy in there saw me...locked the doors and dissapeared. UNACCEPTABLE.
