Can you please repair the elevators as soon as possible? The school day has already started, and it’s inconvenient without the furniture stored in the unit. Thank you for your assistance. I hope the elevators will be fixed by tomorrow.
The on-site employees are great, but if any major issue arises that they can not solve, Public Storage will make your life VERY difficult.
I do not usually leave negative reviews, but I had the most infuriating experience with Public Storage and their customer service than anything else in my life.
I'm a college student, and so my roommate and I rented a U-Haul truck to retrieve our belongings from our Public Storage unit at the beginning of the school year. When we got to the storage space and made our way to the third floor, we noticed that one of the two elevators was out of service. However, as soon as we made our way to the third floor and got everything out of our storage unit, the second elevator ALSO went out of service. For this location, there were ONLY emergency exit stairs that you could go out but automatically locked behind you, so you can not go back in. So, when we left the building to get service to try to call someone, we were stuck outside with all of our belongings in the middle of the hallway on the third floor.
It has now been 24 hours since this happened and the support from Public Storage, especially the district manager Johnathan, has been abysmal. The only good interaction we had was with the actual employee on site at the time, Kevin, who was incredibly helpful and actively looking for solutions for the issue that quite literally completely prevents any of the storage units on the second, third, and fourth floors from being accessed. Thank you Kevin for being the only Public Storage representative we have interacted with who has the willingness to help the companies customers.
When my roommate called the district manager Johnathan, he offered no help at all, but what he did offer was an extra free month to store our stuff, which felt like spitting in our face -- we need our basic belongings OUT of storage for this academic year, how incredibly out of touch do you need to be to offer an extra month of storage for your things that are currently locked inside a building?
We wasted $75 on a U-Haul truck and an entire days time and are being treated like garbage.

This is a fantastic storage facility. I've been renting here for several months, and the facility is always clean and well maintained, even in the midst of the new school year rush. The online system for renting is very straight forward, but this location's real advantage is the woman who manages this site. She is always friendly and very helpful. When I was transferring to a different unit within the facility, she walked me through the whole process and made it very clear.

Poor customer service spoke with a woman named Deborah who was in a hurry to get off the phone and not helpful at all I had secured a unit on line and was not able to gain access when I got there because I guess you can only gain access during open hours upon arrival there was a woman that was locked in because it was past closing time and she needed to call customer service to let her out and because it was past closing hours my self and another vehicle could not gain access and we tried to call but no answer so I left a message for a call back and no one called me back till Monday morning and spoke with Deborah who said I was not able to get a refund because I needed to call the same day but I did and no one called me back and proceeded to ask if I wanted the unit but by this time I no longer needed it because I found another person that would store my items so I had to still pay for a unit that I no longer need not right at all

I have used Public Storage in different places in the US, and I can say with certainty that this one has some of the friendliest and most helpful staff that you will find.
Patrice, the manager, gave me a tour of the place, helped choose the right size of storage to store my things, help me choose some some of the extra supplies that I needed, helped me out with navigating the newer version of the app, and was in general a very kind professional. She also makes sure that the place stays squeaky clean.
The place itself is secure, but also very easy to access and to navigate. And there are plenty of carts for moving your stuff. If you go during a week day, you'll be able to do everything you want swiftly. Now, beware that during the peak weekends when everybody is moving, you may have to wait for a while before you can get a cart, so the extra smart thing to do, if you come during moving day, is to bring you own dolly!

Friendly staff and excellent customer service. No issues of any kind during our five months there, and Patrice does an amazing job keeping it so clean and welcoming to customers.
Patrice has generally been helpful, for which I’m grateful. The building also appeared in good condition. Major issue, however, is that our furniture, clothes, kitchenware, etc. are covered in mold.
We moved our household goods here 3 years ago, when the property was under Cube Smart, in conjunction with a military posting elsewhere. Now, upon returning, we found everything to be moldy. All soft materials like beds and sofas are a total loss, and we are disinfecting the solid wood furniture, scrubbing dishes, etc.
I estimate that we paid over 12k in storage costs the last three years and now took over 15k in easy to quantify damages. Damages to pictures and heirlooms also occurred.
Our insurance, USAA, will not cover losses without the mold being tied to a specific disaster, like flooding. The Public Storage folks have no knowledge of such an event. Perhaps something happened under Cube Smart without our or their knowledge. Seems like a broken AC, triggering of fire sprinklers, or local flooding from another unit could be the cause, among other possibilities. Oddly, while I was there today, the manager and, inadvertently, I discovered that our neighboring unit was hosting a turtle or tortoise. Maybe the guy next door was leaving water out and it spilled?
My main reason for leaving this review, other than venting, is that the folks at Public Storage said they wouldn’t notify other tenants about possible mold issues, but I thought you might want to know.
Below are some photos of my office chair, sofa, a wicker basket, and our junk removal service pulled up behind our moving van. Would’ve been simpler, in retrospect, to junk everything 3 years ago and skip the storage fees.

This is the best for most ppl and I have used them 3x as of right now. The access to the property is good - the Southampton local has a moded access do to the area it in- and easy to get in when you need to - from 6am to 9pm - the only problem is mice but not that bad, still I do recommend them for the 1st month rent is a 1$ but just so you know yhe rent will include insurance, witch is extra, the rent will go up 6months to a yr in and climb at that interval 3very yr you use it.
There are no words to express how great this Public Storage is. Not only is it clean but the staff are wonderful, especially Patrice! My ex and I were renting a space last minute and Patrice was more than helpful. We ended up coming back to rent a second space (we ended up having way too much stuff) and again Patrice went above and beyond to help us. She gave us tips on the best way to store out stuff which really helped us to make more room. Moving stuff into storage has been very stressful but Patrice's great personality, professionalism and knowledge made things go smoothly for us and we will ALWAYS be grateful! If you're looking for a place that's clean, safe and where the staff are wonderful then this is the place!

This review is a couple of weeks overdue, but just want to say that Patrice made the sign up and move in process very easy for us. She was polite, friendly, and anticipated our questions/needs. She was a really great initial contact to have. Also, the facility is well lit and clean. Protected, large, secured loading area. When moving things, can't stress how much those three things help. Great deal, great facility, and great support staff.

Had to cancel last minute - the day before (I had only booked it 2 days before). The company told me that I had to go in person to get my refund for the key I purchased through the website, but Patrice (the owner at Everett) proactively called me and after I told her that I had a busy day of moving, offered to get it done over the phone. Really appreciate that - one less thing to worry about on a really stressful day!
I did lose the admin fee of $29, but I get that, the company loses the space by me reserving it - a space somebody else could have taken. That's a company-wide thing - I think if you cancel more than 2 days before you might not lose the fee.
The facility is fine and I had a great experience with the manager, Patrice. She helped me out of a jam and I can't thank her enough for going above and beyond for solving a huge problem that I created for myself.
The facility is fine and pretty standard for Public Storage, but Patrice's service was what make it a five-star experience for me.

My company stored items here and we were very pleased. It's actually clean, bright, feels safe, and is well run. Patrice was extremely helpful each time I went, answering all my questions, offering help, and suggestions. She's really good at her job.
Excellent customer service. Patsy the manager is prompt, time conscious and amazingly returns calls on time and as promises. She is full of energy and enthusiastic about her work and her customers.
Much cheaper than others around and Patricia was extremely cordial, helpful and funny. Give that woman a raise. Picked this spot for price and service.

My first experience at this location couldn’t have gone better. Patrice answered all my questions and went out of her way to help me and show me the ins and outs of the property. You can tell she knows what she’s doing and takes pride in her work.
Alex helped us and she was phenomenal. Super attentive and got us exactly what we needed. She is an example of what great customer service looks like.
This is a great location for extra storage space, easy access, very clean property, Patrice was very welcoming and made renting easy here, she was helpful when I lost my gate code card, super nice to deal with, very personable, price is good for the size, recommended 👍
The property manager, Patrice, really does her level best to help renters resolve any issues that arise. She provides a wealth of information about the property, what features are available on the Public Storage app, and customer support contact info. She also makes sure the property remains clean and uncluttered.
I’d give this property a five star rating, but reducing the access hours really makes it inconvenient getting to my unit.

My husband and I just rented a unit here and I'm very impressed with how clean the facility is. It also was one of the most reasonable ones around.Patrice was/is so helpful in addressing our questions and needs as this is our first time renting. She is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Such a blessing to deal with. Totally recommend.
