Again Angel was helpful. I was trying to cancel my unit it is no longer needed. I had a huge hole in the ceiling with isolation falling in and some water damage to many of my boxes. There were nesting debris and many many bird feathers all over my items. I cleaned out the unit and swept up the emailed dust and debris. Although I want to stop my unit. I have had no luck canceling this unit. The difficulty in stopping the service is stupid. I have already been on hold for quite a while;e. Up to now, have had a decent experience. Why is it so hard to stop services? I You want my driver's license? What for? I'm not driving your equipment. I just want to stop the service and this is like pulling teeth. Thank you, Kaite was helpful after 30 minutes tofinally close the account. **BE Aware! It is not an easy process to close the account.

Public storage has done wrong before. My unit is open according to a message someone sent from the office, stating that they cannot lock it. Well the ONLY way my unit is opened will be if someone opened my unit from the office. There is a lock on my unit but it cannot be opened without the new lock round key. Plus it's ONLY two. The guy in the office has one and I have the other one. So, it means someone in PUBLIC STORAGE @ ROSELLE IL, 1295 W Lake Street. One of the guys in that works there is very nasty. He followed me around like he was a spying on me. I remember having to call the l police on him. I don't know if he is still there. But I do know my unit should be locked. Anything else is someone playing nasty games going into storages. I am afraid to go to that PUBLIC STORAGE ALONE.
These guys are scammers. I emptied my unit a day before my month was up and even walked to the front desk to let the person on duty know. Fast forward a month later, they sent me to collection for money that I DO NOT owe them. I left several voicemails for the property manager but they must be Casper the ghost because no one has returned my calls.
Nicole was very helpful with my vacate and the facilities were very clean. Nicole helped make my move out much easier and I hope to rent here again!

I could not have been more impressed with this young man ! He was totally professional. And was honest when he didn't know the answer to the question I had. But he did follow up when he found the answer for me. Angel took the time and walked with me to the unit I was looking at and eventually end up renting.
It is because of his comment to me the customer that help me decide to rent from here.
He was so helpful and patient with me helping and guiding me through all the sizes and choices of which unit would be best for my needs. He listened to what I had and thought I wanted, and then gently suggested that I may want to consider a different unit. And after thinking carefully to what he suggested it made sense to do that way ! I am so grateful for his kind caring thoughtful understanding ways. And his desire to truly help me do what was best for me !
He is a model of customer service ! And that is so hard to find these days !

I needed a parking spot for my box truck and was having a difficult time finding one in the area that would accommodate the size of it...I went to the public storage in Hanover Pk to see what was available..They didn't have a spot available at the location.
So the attendant DJ recommended another facility in the area..He drove down to the other facility while I followed and let me pull my truck in to see if it would fit..And it did..Unbelievable customer service..I highly recommend them if you need any kind of storage..

5 months into my contract, they raised the price by 50%... not 5 or 10% they raised it 50% !!! I feel like I got a bait and switch price back in September.
In addition, there are walls falling down in my unit and NO ONE fixed it for the 5 months I've been there.
The deal was too good to be true. Buyer beware. This place sucks.

Made a reservation. Spoke to mgr. She suggested I make an appt with her so she could show me where my unit is and tour the property. Said she would give me a refund for the lock purchase price if I brought my own. So she said they open at 930. I made an appt for 10, and I showed up... no one in the office or answering the phone, called 3 times left message, waited in the lot for 30 minutes. NOTHING, I drove home, called the office again, she answered, I explained because no one was there to meet me,
And that would not be able to get back there until next weekend, I wanted a full refund, she said, you should've let yourself in with the gate code, I explained the only text and email I recieved explained I would get another text or email on my move in day (which I did not receive). She looked at emails and texts sent and found no gate code was sent. She says so, you wish to vacate the unit. I said yes. I expect a full refund, that you didn't fulfill your part of the contract. She said I'm not emailing or texting your receipt, you can pick it up at the office. I said you ARE issuing a full refund, correct. She hung up on me. I called back two times, she didn't answer the phone. I CALLED THE DISTRICT MANAGER. They issued me a refund except for a $29 administration fee, I said unacceptable, and I want a full refund. They will be calling me on Monday.

This property is always clean and a great place to store my vehicles. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Leandra, the property manager, informed me about the Public Storage app where I can easily pay my bill and open the gate with my phone from inside my car! I’ve been storing here for four years now and I would recommend!

I've never utilized Public Storage (the brand/facilities, have used other vendors prior) before, but using the website to find the nearest one that I had planned on loading things into was a breeze. Getting acquainted with the facility and locating/moving into my unit was easy as the service was top notch. Piper helped me out with all my initial first timer questions and showed me how to use the app to get in and out.
I even got a follow up call to make sure move in was smooth, that was cool. Luckily I picked the right sized unit on the first try.
Prices seem competitive compared to other places I've seen/used. For indoor units, the lights are on a timer and sometimes it can be inconvenient if you're organizing/moving things for a while, motion sensing lights would be cool. There were no carts at the time of move in but I was told it'd be available in the future. Luckily everything I had was already on wheels. Was able to use my own lock in addition to the one that was provided.
Lots of house sparrows living above the doors of the outdoor units. Forewarning if you're not into birds that close to your stuff.
I reserved a unit for the day I was moving and showed up around 1P. There was a sign on the door reading they would be gone from 1-130p. Fine. 130p comes along, 2p, 230p; as I’m paying my movers an absorbent amount per hour. Finally, security comes by and says that the person who operates the facility decided to take a half day and NOT get their shift covered. We waited 3 hours, paid almost a grand in movers, had to book another day with our moving truck AND movers, be fined by our landlord for not being out on time, slept on the floor; and ruined literally everything while costing us thousands. I called corporate and was told to continue to wait until they could send someone else from another facility. Again, I was paying these people by the hour. No help at all, no refund; nothing. RENTER BEWARE.

The staff at the Public Storage in Roselle (specifically Leandra) went above and beyond your ordinary storage facility employee. Going through a divorce, I had to utilize this storage in between moving. Leandra was very thorough with the process of switching storages from my ex to myself, she was extremely patient and kind throughout the entire process. It was a stressful situation but she went out of her way to help me each step of the way! I highly recommend this storage facility and especially Leandra!!
