I am very grateful for my experience with this storage facility. The manager Angie was very understanding and worked with keeping me updated on the steps I needed to take when I fell behind on my unit. She was very helpful . She was able to waive some fees and get an adjustment on my unit to help me get back on track with my payments. I highly recommend this facility and it feels good knowing that there are people like Angie that are for the customer. It is a great piece of mind knowing that they are willing to work with you and it means a lot with the importance and value of my personal belongings in my unit. Keep up the good work Angie.

Public Storage has an outstanding manager in Angie! Not only is she professional, but she is kind and empathetic. She truly looks at the needs of the customer that helps create a better image for Public Storage. She goes out of her way to find solutions to problems with a wonderful spirit and personality. You have a superstar on your hands at Public Storage. If I were upper management, I would do everything possible to keep her happy because she is as professional as they come. I don’t usually go out of my way to write reviews, but for this special manager - I had to. Thank you Angie for everything!

It is not a safe situation, and they need to coordinate communication and repairs of security system in a timely manner. The security gate has been out of order for the past week (at least), and they have not notified customers. There is not 24-hour camera monitoring by a staff member. I requested them to contact the police to patrol the area, but I don't think the customers should have to tell them how secure the facility. They should have a plan in place when there is a repair needed for the security system. I have had an account for four years, and am disappointed that they don't communicate about safety and security breeches. I am not pleased because I pay for peace of mind for my valuables. I no longer have it, and wish they would prioritize securing the facility, and letting us know when the security system, upon which I rely to protect my valuables, is violated. As of this morning, according to the property manager, there is still an UNKNOWN date for which the problem will be resolved. That is a very unprofessional, and generally untrustworthy practice. If I pay for storage, buy a lock, and am given a security code to access my valuables, then when the system is not working, they should let us know, and have a plan in place for us, so we do not worry about safety. Also, to not have a timeline for when it will be resolved is absolutely unacceptable. Cold weather is not an acceptable excuse for the problem, because this is Chicago, and it gets cold here all the time. They need to update their system to keep up with the weather. They need to update their communication to customers, so we are in the loop, on what is going on with rental unit's accessibility.

Came to the location price checking for a parking space , property Manager Angie was great very knowledgeable will def come back and store here and will recommend to friends and family .

Service was great! Angie got me in and out of there quickly. Her and PS were able to help me locate a nice spot for my items near me. Realized I needed a bigger room than what I had thought, and they were happy to show me options. Better pricing than the competition too. I never leave reviews on anything, but I had to on this one. 99% due to Angie's happiness and energy during a hectic time. ( I worked customer service jobs all my life so I appreciate good service and had to acknowledge it) Thanks Angie and team!

if you are looking for a place to leave all your extras, don't look at this company, especially this Oakbrook location… I rent two spaces (one car for each one is included), of which they only let me have one car because they over-rented the spaces, just like the hours change every time a manager changes, and they set their personal rules, for example Johny is the manager who is at the moment and I had 24-hour access. and now the hours have changed because Jhony decided so, affecting my company directly since I need 24-hour access. so if you want to avoid these types of scenarios please find a place other than public storage in Oakbrook

Property Manager Johnny is great! Super on top of things and very organized and efficient. Always friendly and helpful too! Thanks Johnny for not only making moving in easy but also helping me out when I needed to switch units.
