I have mixed feelings about this place. On one hand the facilities itself are great. The buildings are clean, well maintained, and the interior is well lit. However, I have had a issue where we gave up 1 unit for 2 units of a larger size, close together. In the changeover apparently they never dropped the empty unit from my account. Again the unit was never moved into, was completely empty, and on the day that we were set to move our items into the unit we realized it was far too small for our purposes. We exchanged everything right there with their personnel in the office. Everything was supposed to be set up and taken care of that day as I worked with the individual at the office, in person, to fix our issue. Dana was great to work with as she told me she did not usually work that location. I left feeling it had been resolved, but I later got email notification and a phone call that the unit we were supposed to have surrendered was still on our account and was past due. I tried to return the first phone call and never received a call back. I had to call back the next day and finally got ahold of someone in the office, they told me they would take care of checking on the unit and immediately call me back as soon as they verified that the unit had been moved out of. I have heard nothing since, I tried to call back I have not received a return phone call about this matter. I still do not know if this matter has been resolved or if I am still getting dinged for a late charge on a unit I never moved into and it should have been removed from my account. Overall I would say the unit is great but the changeover has not been so wonderful from apparently the old business to the new owners. When I was there on move-in day taking care of this issue in person I actually witnessed another individual come into the office and complain that they could not get anyone to call them back. I first thought maybe the individual was overreacting a little bit but now with my own experience I apparently owe them an apology because I am experiencing the exact same issue.
The customer service from Candee was absolutely amazing! I came to rent a unit and was unsure of exactly what I needed. She took the time to show me various options and detailed the pros of each one. My little one was energetic and she interacted with her making the experience enjoyable for us. It’s very rare to find outstanding customer service nowadays and Candee is a rare gem. All the units were clean and prepped for rental. Thanks Candee for such a through job!
I had a unit I purchased through Monster back in May that was bought out by Public Storage over the summer. I was very concerned that I wouldn't receive the same level of customer service from a larger company but Ms. Dana and Mr. Barry quickly eased my mind. I even experienced a lockout and Ms. Dana went above and beyond to help me find a locksmith and I am eternally grateful to them both!
Ms. Dana has the best customer service ever in my experience of getting storage. She’s has an outgoing personality that’s makes it easy of getting along with. If anyone need a storage come talk to Ms Dana at public storage statesboro
Absolutely terrible! Customer service terrible. I loved this location when it was Monster storage. You could always to speak someone. I have left 2 voicemails, called customer service 3 times, live chat and still have not been able to resolve a simple issue. I was told by the live chat agent I should think about what I say before I say it.. response to me asked for a manager.

If I could title this post, it would be called...We Made A Friend!! My husband and I recently moved to Statesboro and needed a large, inside & climate controlled unit. Monster Storage was very recently bought out by Public Storage and was literally in the process of passing the baton the day we walked in and met Ms. Dana. Let me just preface my comment with this...PHENOMENAL!!! If I could give her more than 5 🌟s, it still wouldn't be enough!! In a time where great customer service is almost extinct, it was so refreshing to meet someone who not only loves her job but also is genuinely concerned for and appreciates her customers. Ms. Dana, thank you for not only making us feel special, but working so hard to ensure that our needs were met and even at a great price. I saw where one customer had a bad experience during what appears to be the timeframe of the change over. I rarely do reviews but after working with Ms. Dana, I can't imagine Public Storage was at fault...give them another visit. Once again, OUTSTANDING!! My husband calls her, Ms. "Git-er-done" Dana 😂
Didn’t want to leave a bad review but location will not get back to me whatsoever. I booked a unit online the 19th of july due to me needing it to move out the 20th. Upon arriving to the office to get the key there was a sign on the door stating they were closed the 19th and 20th. At that point I wouldn’t be able to use the unit due to not getting the key and I would be moved out already and not needing it when the office did open up. I have tried on multiple occasions to contact them and even tried multiple ways with no response. They have now changed their status online to “Permanently Closed” (on Apple Maps and Yelp) and deleted there website for the Statesboro location, which is the one I reserved at. I am very disappointed and spent well over $200 on this unit. If they simply contacted me back and gave a refund to me I wouldn’t be upset but just to ghost me with no explanation after it let me book it is very unprofessional and disappointing. Please never get a storage unit with this company!

The process of getting my storage unit was super quick and simple! They answered all my questions and were super resourceful. I’ve never had a storage unit, so they took the time to show me how the lock worked. Michael and Trevor were super nice!!! Highly recommend.
Tracy was great to work with and helped us pick out the right unit for our needs. It’s a very nice complex, and after touring it, we feel very comfortable leaving our belongings there.

The price is ridiculous.
Decided to buy a unit for a few months and the service was amazing! The property manger (I believe) was the one to help me and he was very nice, showed us a unit, and gave us so much information about the unit and how everything works! The store units were clean on the inside and outside tbh. Overall 10/10

Clean, Simple, and Nice...UPDATE...02/24/25
So why after 9 months our storage unit cost $183 got a notice that the insurance was going up cool price was than $186 not bad how about wnet to go pay the storage for the month and the price is now $221 how sway, no notice in my email no nothing it's now a $74 dollar difference and guess what they got deals going on right now how sway I have called 7x to try to speak to someone & I signed up for a call back guess what no call back so what's the issue I have paid faithfully and never missed a payment matter fact always paid ahead just to be good customer with a great business lol guess the jokes on me right wooooo what a knee slapper...
🌟UPDATE 02/24/25 Spoke with a Mr. Tracey Brown what an absolute turnaround I voiced my concerns and my frustration and he listen and took the time to listen and be understanding no promises were made, but I definitely felt heard and & valued as a customer who has been here for 9 months. I definitely think Mr. Tracey Brown is a wonderful & Intelligent edition to this company I hope the Higher Ups listen to not only my concern and everyone else's, but to take heed & action to present what I saw and felt when I first joined which was welcoming & good business🌟
