Alex was the most polite young lady I have ever met and she knows the business very well. This one is a keeper don't let her go. Also the facility is very clean and I'm sure that's because Alex keeps it that way.

I’ve now had two experiences with Public Storage, and while the customer service at both locations has been great, the convenience and reliability have not. I’ve learned quite a bit over the last couple of months: before choosing a storage facility, ask how often the gates, elevators, and other essential equipment break down. It can make a huge difference. My first unit was at the Hoschton location. On my move-in date, there were already issues with the property gate, but I was told they were getting it “fixed.” Little did I know that the gate was apparently a constant problem. The gate surrounds the property and requires a keypad code to enter and exit. One evening, I was moving items into my unit after office hours. When I was ready to leave, I entered my code and the gate got stuck, leaving me and my vehicle trapped on the property. I called the available customer service numbers and got very little help. I was eventually able to reach someone through the text chat, and after 30–45 minutes of troubleshooting, the solution offered was for me to leave my vehicle there overnight and return during office hours the next day. That was not a reasonable solution, so I contacted the local non-emergency police number. An officer was dispatched and stayed with me until the fire department arrived and was able to free me and my vehicle. Despite the inconvenience and the fact that I was effectively trapped on the property, I was not offered a refund, discount, or any other compensation—only reassurance that the gate would be “fixed” again. I later learned from other customers who have had units at this location since it opened that the gate has reportedly been an ongoing issue. When it is broken, it is often simply left open. Since the gate is essentially the primary physical security barrier for the property, that was concerning to me. As for the Gainesville location, there is no property gate, so thankfully there are no gate-related issues. The building itself does require a keypad code to enter. The first and second floors are ground-level, but the third floor requires an elevator. I purchased the same size unit online that I had at the Hoschton location. On my move-in date, I went to look at the unit and clean it before bringing my belongings in. I noticed that the ceiling was not quite as high as my previous unit, so I went to the office to see if any larger units were available. They did have larger units available, but unfortunately, they were all on the third floor—and both elevators were “out of service.” At that point, I decided to stop while I was ahead and requested a refund. They refunded everything except the $29 administrative fee. The employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful, and I want to be clear that my frustration is not with the local staff or their customer service. My issue is with the reliability and convenience of the facilities themselves. Save yourself the headache and consider another storage company. If you do choose Public Storage, I strongly recommend asking about the history of gate and elevator outages before signing a lease. If possible, stick with a ground-level unit, avoid facilities that rely heavily on a problematic property gate for security, and be especially cautious with climate-controlled units that back up to exterior-facing units—the bug problem I experienced was horrendous.

The place is clean and efficient. However, before storing stuff here, you should ask if you really need it. While the service is great it really becomes an ongoing, no end in sight expense. 08/19/2026 - still a good choice if you need additional storage.

The store manager Tiffany is amazing she's done everything humanly possible to help me get my storage unit rented and everything set up perfectly.. I can't say enough nice things about her dedication and work etiquette it's top notch.. Storage Depot is lucky to have such a hard worker... The customer service is great! I had lost my password and an automated system sent it to me. The storage units are very clean, and they provide the locks if you don't have one. My things were just as I had left them, nice and secure.

At 30ish years old and a single parent i have had to move more than one would want.. but I havent been in a facility so nice and clean.. the elevator is slow and lil scary.. seems old buuut still nice loved they had lil things by the door to help made moving.. sooooooooooooooo much easier and worth the extra fees in the beginning.. we got a great deal and great space for a good price.. maybe keep it just so we dont feel so cluttered .. I have seen them on the side of the highway and the commercial but im thankful they even called to make sure I got checked in ok.. super nice.. thankful we choose to store with them ..

Was concerned made a review Collin the Dm reached out to me explained to me very well . I like that he wants to help fix the issue . Shows they care . UPDATE well I thought they cared I thought everything was going to be fine . Like I said in my first review my bill has went up damn near every other month . Colin told me it would be lower this month & that was A LIE ! I will be looking for other storages close to me because the rates are ridiculous and they lie a didn’t fix the problem ! Being charged over $100 for a unit that’s only $46 in store and $37 online . This is definitely Highway robbery ….

I just wanted to say so far great experience here. Tabitha. Has been extremely helpful. With all honesty if I had not spoke to her when I went in there. Not sure I would have decided to use their service! But she ran me thru all the details and found the perfect solution for my needs. The facility has been perfect almost 3 months in now. The access is super easy. 5 stars for Tabitha as well.

Clean facility, a bit difficult to access depending on travel direction. Costs are high, two price increases in 6 months. Unless you're storing items that are of high risk for weather damage/high value this is not a great place for 'overflow' storage.

I would leave a nice review but after the services I recived due to managment lack of account ability I closed my account and went back to Extra storage which I should have done from the start. I was renting for the percs of 24hrs access which I didnt mind ,but the set up the account cost me to have to travel 2 times over an hour from Atlanta trying to finish moving art studio . I was told by management muiltpe times I was enterng the code wrong but the yellow box was actually broke and required fixing .Then I had a family emergency which cause a missed payment I called on 05/09 for a fee waiver for the may statement and online assistance to pay to be told that I would get a call back once the fee request would be honored 05/16 Mesha property manager continue to argue stated they waived apirl free already , which was a lie because first month is already paid in advance and I only requested one time .At this point I was emailed and text screenshots of a $15 fee waiver just to incure a $25 late fee when I was already told to wait on a call back to see if fee will be waived. We are all human but to aruge with a customer and not even review information that is being told correctly is insane .SO I called on the 05/09 see she waived 05/10 NEVER called nore sent screenshots nor a email.Then continued to argue and get made cause the call center sent emails for me complaining about her customer service - continued to email stating how late fees are waived instead of apologizing on her lack of customer service ,still placing blame on me . I proceed to retrive my items from unit after making said payment that was missed after the $25 fee removed by the Direct manager I said I would vacant the property same day .So my unit should have been unlocked and I requested not to have contact with the mamanger anymore . But when I came to get items during open hours she still had my unit locked and my key would not work while she in the office sweeping office empty and my account was paid in full 12:38 pm in the evening I came up there around 4:55- 5pm If I would have came to the site after hours that I paid for to get items my unit still would have been locked. Just because a place doesnt have high traffic shouldnt be an excuse to be lazy or incompetent on how to service people who pays said money for service . NEEDS NEW MANAGMENT
