Do not ever store your furniture or possessions here! They have a moth infestation issue and don’t care or clean their facilities. I alerted the manager and she said this is the first she has heard of it. Yeah right. I had two units here for maybe 1-2 years and was hoping to be able to re-use some of my barely used like new Restoration Hardware furniture in my upstairs living area for my kids and guests once we finished our renovation or give to my mom. When I opened my unit a ton of moths came flying out and were all over my furniture. I have multiple videos and sent to the Sedgwick insurance company. I had thousands of dollars of things ruined and the $5k will not cover what happened. I didn’t understand the magnitude of moths or what they do as I’ve never dealt with moths. I read online to steam clean a few furniture pieces to use in my kids playroom. One month later, I have moth eggs in my wool carpet in my upstairs and on my rugs. I had to throw away the pieces of furniture altogether. I am having to deep clean my house, change the carpet and have an exterminator come spend even more time and money on this issue. My other furniture in my home is nicer than RH and I’m terrified of what might happen. When you read about moths you se that they are a pesky bug and hard to get rid of. I’m so very upset that this is now in my beautiful home. It wasn’t worth storing here and this company did nothing and acted like they did not know. For reference, I had two separate units on opposite sides of the building and due to all their units being open in the ceiling (which I have never used a storage unit so didn’t think about that or bugs) all of their units will be infested with moths! Don’t go here! Donate it before you spend $300 a month storing anything of value!

After reserving a unit online, however getting to the location and due to health issues, it turned out that I could not use the ramp to go in and out of the unit.
Attempted to speak with a young lady that was exiting the office, only to be told that the office is now closed and that I would need to contact customer service.
Contacted customer service, explained that I never entered the unit and needed to be moved/transferred to a first floor unit where I would not have to use the ramp. Unfortunately, the call was to no avail.
Was informed that I needed to pay another administrative fee and lock charges for a unit I never stepped foot in.
After contacting the corporate office, I was told that I could make an appointment to speak with the person there at the location.
We scheduled the appointment, I had the wonderful pleasure of speaking with Angie, she walked me through the location and provided different options, however due to the elevator being broken at the time even the second floor option didn’t work, but Angie did not stop there. She went beyond by reaching out to her manager and explaining the situation on my behalf.
Today, I received a call from Tianna,
Very polite and professional,
she advised that I would be credited for the funds I paid due to me not ever using the unit and she kindly apologized for the inconvenience.
Because of the outcome, I will continue using Public Storage for how they wanted to make sure I was a satisfied customer.

Jade was so very helpful! We rented a storage unit at a "kiosk" location... in other words, no on-site office or manager. My call to the 1-800 number and link to the property manager was routed to the Savoy Drive location. Jade spent quite a bit of time and effort helping me try to untangle a billing issue. We're still working on it, but Jade was very thorough and clear in explaining the situation to me, investigated what she could to get to the bottom of it, and has elevated it to the next level to help us resolve things. We are very grateful for her patience and persistence!

My first day renting and the system is messed up where I can’t enter the building or unit to get to my storage. No one is in the leasing office. The customer service doesn’t even help. I regret renting here.

Thank you Lavon for coming to our rescue. We had just finished moving storage items into our unit and when we went to leave, discovered the locking mechanism was broken. Lavon came right up and told us “no problem” and said he would take care of us. He immediately provided us with a more convenient storage unit. We had such a struggle gettting everything together funds wise post an eviction and despite what was on my plate he was very helpful he shared understanding he supported and found the right size unit perfect for the movers because my cognitive dissonance was strong in these last few days! My experience with this location was great...until it wasn't.
I reserved, paid for, and received all move-in information online. I was able to access my unit with the code and through the app as described, and payments were automatically paid upon the due date.
After 5 or so months, I no longer needed the unit, so I scheduled to move out on the 31st of December 2023. I removed everything, cleaned the unit, and removed the lock from the door. Something also told me to remove the autopay on the account. Thank goodness I did!
On January 7, 2024, I received a phone call from Lavon (sp?) informing my payment was past due. I was a little confused, because all payments had been automatically drafted from my account. I let him know I moved out on the 31st of December. He apologized and told me to disregard the call as he would handle everything on his end.
Imagine my surprise when I received a letter from a collections agency for a past due amount in February 2024. I immediately called and spoke with Lavon. He told me his district manager, Zack, was supposed to handle it, and Lavon would follow up with Zack to ensure it's done. His district manager was out of touch for a few days, so Lavon asked me to call on the following Wednesday to confirm everything was taken care of. I am still able to login to the online portal which showed a past due amount, so I called the following Thursday. No one answered my call, so I left a message. The next day, Friday, I had not received a call back, so I called again. No one answered, so I left another message.
The following week, I get a call from the collections agency.
I think visited the location in person. Lavon was very professional and apologetic. He called Zack and told me everything will be taken care of in an hour. He also said not to worry about the letter from the collections agency. He took off his glasses, so I could look in his eyes and told me not to worry.
A week and a half later, I get another call from the collections agency on a Saturday, so I visit the rental office again. I spoke with Connie who then called Lavon. He told her Zack was supposed to handle it, but Zack wasn't going to it on a Saturday or a Sunday. Wait a minute! Just last week, it was don't worry about it and it will be taken care of in an hour. It suddenly became something that can't be addressed on the weekend.
Connie sent a follow up message to Zack asking him to take care of it. She included my name and phone number and asked Zack to give me a call to let me know the issue has been resolved.
As I write this review, a past due amount is still showing on my account.
I have disputed this with the collections agency, but honestly, it should have never gotten to this point. I understand people aren't perfect, and sometimes things are missed. This issue should have been resolved no later than January 8, 2024.
I paid on time. I left the unit clean. I removed the lock. I have shown patience and given grace. I have followed up more times than reasonable. I have remained polite and calm during all interactions. I did my part. It's really unfortunate the parties involved won't do theirs leaving my credit at risk.
Lavon was amazing! He helped me with all of my questions. He even took me to each storage unit I was considering so that I could see it for myself. Best service I’ve EVER received from Public Storage. Ask for Lavon! You won’t regret it.
Terrible waste of time trying to give them my money. Try to reserve a unit, emails don’t have links or info on what to do next. No person on site to take my money. Call center resent the same email with no link to payment.
Why not just let me pay and get the code on the email or website? Or at least info on the next step?

I’ve been a customer here for a few years now and I’ve met several employees in that time. I can say definitively that Lavone is the most conscientious person I’ve ever encountered at Public Storage, or really any other storage facility for that matter!
I wish I could put ZERO stars ! DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE ! No one EVER is there or answers the phone ! These reviews are fake ! My unit was ran through and half my belongings stolen ! I was never notified just a new lock put on. Either that or the people who work there have been stealing from me. No one was at the location for any assistance for 3 days and no one would come to the store to help. I found my lock inside my belongings cut off with and electric saw , how did my original lock get inside my unit ? And they’re lock put on ! !!!? They had open access to my unit for over a year and now over 5k worth of merchandise and memories are gone ! I was never notified my lock was tampered with or if anything was gone. We missed one payment they change the locks. We paid it wayyy before 30 days And they told us to change the lock to ours but our stuff would be safe, that is ALL we were notified about ! Not being able to come back to the state We just left their lock on thinking our merchandise would be safe. Then come back to our merchandiser stolen, including a three-piece couch
Great facility, super friendly manager. Safe and secure. Have had things here for 3 years and not a single issue. My indoor unit is air conditioned, well lit and and very easy to access for loading/unloading.
Lavon at the front desk is so friendly and professional. He has been a huge help for every step along the way and goes above and beyond for each request I've had. Always felt welcomed and happy to store, in large part because of Lavon and his upbeat attitude.

Do NOT use this facility!!!
First, they advertise everywhere & charge you for a climate controlled unit. Even when you log into your account online, it says that your unit is climate controlled. However, it is NOT! Then when you talk to the manager at the facility, they tell you it is NOT climate controlled & look at you like you lost your mind. But call the home office, and they say otherwise. (Make up your mind people!) Second, when it rains, it floods. Water gets in everywhere. And that is not an exaggeration. Oh and let's not forget the long elevator ride to go up one floor. I could go on and on with a bunch of stories, long story short, go elsewhere!!!

The people that work here are nice enough however they never EVER, answer the phone. Which is terrible because you can’t get on the phone with anyone else with this company, it will always direct you to speak with the property manager who is quite literally never on site. The person to remove locks never comes around soo when you need a lock to be removed, you’ll be waiting weeks while your still suppose to be paying for a unit you have no access to. Lastly, the monthly bill keeps going up, I signed on for $140 monthly and now- some how without explanation I’m paying $200+ monthly. Again, no one to contact about this!

Everything was smooth until it was time to end my membership. Have been trying to return my lock and key before the beginning of April but no one has been in the office. Now they’re trying to charge me an extra $120 talking about corporate policy. Smh scam.

My mom and I went in to ask questions about renting bc I am moving over the summer and Miss Lashana was extremely helpful answering our questions. She was so nice and her down south hospitality is refreshing! We’re not renting there bc it’s too far out but we will be renting from Public Storage just closer to me just on the strength of Miss Lashana 🫶🏼

We had two units broken into, with thousands of dollars of items stolen. The thief systematically stole items on a weekly basis. We have locks on our units and tarp at the roof, so we couldn’t figure out how the perpetrator was entering until the police pointed out that the lock’s key mechanism was loose, which means someone was jimmying the locks. We allowed the officer to fingerprint the locks because only two individuals prints should be there, other than the store’s manager or staff. Although we cannot receive our items back, we know that the universe will take care of the person much better than we can. So we have solace in that. Because of the break-in, we decided to move our belongings to a competitor, with better security. Public Storage only has cameras at the elevators, so spaces cannot be monitored unlike our new, choice company. I would strongly suggest putting a deer cam or video recording camera in your units if you choose to rent at Public Storage. That is the only way to catch a thief at work.

I recently purchased a storage unit. I was assisted by Luvenia "L" she was the best. She was very polite and helpful getting my unit set up. The location was clean and they have EV charging, which is helpful for me.

She helped me save 200$ monthly(more then 2300 yearly) and get a better storage unit for my needs.
