Wonderful experience renting a Unit today. We were able to talk to Angela who is in their Regional office who facilitated a no-hassle rental over the phone. The facility is neat and clean and we were also asked if we needed further help by someone on the premises.
I feel the rate is reasonable and recommend the Maxwell Public Storage facility. I also like the app for the phone that appears to be well functioning and easy to use.
This location is im what looking even though I spoke to Janice at another location she lead me in this direction should have more employees like her who can help no matter where they are
The process of getting a space was awesomely superb.
DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION OR TAKE WHAT THEY TELL YOU AT FACE VALUE.
When I rented a unit here, I brought my own lock like the contract says I’m supposed to. But the staff refused to let me use it and forced me to buy one from them. After I moved everything out, cleaned the unit, and left it completely unlocked (as I was instructed), I was told by staff that I didn’t need to do anything else.
Weeks later, they started harassing me, claiming I left the unit locked and still owed money. That was a lie. I had the lock and key the whole time, which my wife personally saw. I was pressured to drive all the way back just to return a lock I owned, and when I got there, I was treated with disrespect and attitude for no reason. I wasn’t even allowed to look at the unit to confirm what they were accusing me of and they told me to leave.
Now they’re trying to use the date I returned the lock as proof that I was still using the unit, which is completely false. It’s been months and they’ve still shown me no evidence to back their claims, because they don’t have any. All they’ve done is send me the same generic email responses from their escalation team while continuing to push a charge that has no legal basis.
If you rent here, keep detailed records, and don’t let them force you into anything that’s not in the contract. This location has no accountability, and the way I was treated, after doing everything right, was completely unacceptable. I’ve already reported them to multiple state and federal agencies.
Definitely recommend this storage facility off Maxwell Road! Super nice property manager, Missy is great!! Been here a year and never had one issue.

Easy to reserve and access the unit; however, the gate to the property has been stuck in in up position for over 6 months. No action taken by the management in spite of several reports/phone calls. Note: I have updated this review after the district manager called me and explained the situation. There had been an accident and they are waiting on a repair. I have been promised a call back when the issue is resolved.
