The employees of Public Storage stepped up to actually help me. I'm a domestic violence survivor and they really assisted in understanding what I needed to do. John Dozier is a special heart. He's one of many kind God-sends that has been placed in my life with a great team at his side. I would highy recommend Public Storage for my friends and family newscaster of my experience with John. They don't have a live person in the building it makes it difficult if you have a problem, without a live person there is no one to take you to see the unit so you get what they assigned you

I rented a small space at an Ocala location over the winter. Each time I visited, the facility was clean and well lighted.
Upon no longer requiring the rented space, I submitted my move out date, removed all items, and swept out the storage unit.
Shortly after I vacated the unit, I began to receive texts, emails, and phone calls demanding continued payment. I attempted to contact Public Storage to remind them I had already vacated the unit and sent the move out date to them. I tried their chat feature (it never worked), wrote an actual letter (no response), and even left numerous voicemails with the location manager (live person never picked up...always voicemail with some multi-digit "name") but the harassment continues as I keep getting notices of overdue payments, threats of late fees, and other legal action.
Public storage will quickly take your money and won't stop demanding more. Their system to contact them for billing issues seems to be ineffective or simply not working at all.
I would not rent from Public Storage anywhere ever again and suggest no one else do either.

Have had a unit a year this July! Customer service has been on par and even little issues have been handled very timely and to our satisfaction each time! JDozier recently even helped us with app issues and had us logged back in within minutes! Highly recommend.

Trina was amazing! I was having some issues completing my rental online, and she swooped in a saved the day. She definitely set the tone for my first storage rental experience with Public Storage!
On-site property manager very helpful but unless you have a US cell number, you cannot download the app which seems ridiculous for a business that obviously caters to people from out of the country for storage.
Whenever there is an issue or a question with your specific unit here you cannot get a hold of anyone. Also, I had a lock put on my unit while I’m in the middle of trying to get my stuff out of it and I couldn’t get a hold of anybody to unlock it to continue my move out. Never missed a payment, paid them thousands…
We are very pleased with the service we received from Edgar. He is polite, professional and wants to make sure you have a positive experience. He does a great job maintaining the area. During one of our visits he asked if our storage unit needed cleaning.
Amazing help. John got jim out there quickly to assist me with my lock. Jim got it right off and all fixed up. So very helpful I was so happy I didn't have to wait.
After having issues with the call center, I spoke with John everything went great !!!
I’ve been renting here for about six months. I just met Edgar, the maintenance man/groundskeeper. I just wanted to send a shout out for the great job he’s doing. The grounds are always kept clean, neat, and orderly and issues are addressed quickly.

I’ve paid the same time every month for 3 years now. My monthly payment jumped from $120/month to $185/month. This now includes a $15 monthly outstanding insurance fee for the same due date. I guess they changed paperwork at some point without notifying me. My unit was also broken into. I do not recommend Public Storage. If I could give negative stars I would.
I am a 3-time renter of Public Storage. They must be doing something right.

This use to be Neighborhood storage and now that Public storage took over its horrible. Yes people can be late on payment sometimes but to be paid and have a zero balance and y'all got a lock on my unit really gets my blood boiling. I will never recommend this place to anyone and I am calling the Better Business Bureau. I'm done with y'all and will be moving all my stuff outta here ASAP.

Nice, clean place. Easy to work with getting everything set up for storage during our move. Units were clean inside and out and the temp control was perfect for storing our stuff.

Way over; price found other storage for 100.00 less hard to communicate with the on sight team and waiting on the phone for live help was a pain always was there a year ...that was my fault should have shopped around before or sooner
