Much of the property has great lighting indoors and out. The parking lot is both ample and easy to manuever a variety of vehicles. The space under AC however is bring neglected. The main outside door does close and is both a waste of energy and open for all manner of critters to enter, 24 hours a day. For many months a second dolly cart has been left broken and unusable and hidden in the stairwell. Today, I find the gate to be completed broken from it hinges (it happens) and the chain is left on the ground across the entrance for people to run over. Management need to take a long hard look it they way this installation is handled.

Thank you to Jeremy for his professionalism, knowledge and patience with me over the past two weeks. Couldn't make up my mind about a storage space. Jeremy helped me make the right decision. Thanks Jeremy for your outstanding customer service!

We have also recommended several friends and family members to come to this location specifically because of only one reason. Well, two reasons not only do we feel safe...but because of Edith. I’m sure she’s met several angry people in her many years of care yes she just always has a smile on her face. If Edith ever retires or leaves public storage I think she will have quite the following go with her. Whoever is reading this if anyone is reading this please make sure you’re taking care of her she’s really the best.

I have to say that your manager Edith is a gem, she helped us when we needed a larger unit on moving to Florida, and when we removed some items and needed a smaller unit, Edith was so helpful in helping us choose the right size for our remaining items. Also, every time we go to the facility it is kept so clean and we like the climate control. I would recommend this Public Storage site. update 7/30/21 Went to check my storage unit today and must say the place is still kept clean and the manager Edith is still very pleasant and helpful.

Finally rented my storage unit after looking for a month with everyone promising to call me when available including one saying her manager would call and never did and of course the units were gone when I called trying to pay. Michelle was amazing, helpful and also helped me remember I needed a few things like mattress covers to make the move a lot easier. Happy and thankful Michelle called me back so this is secured!

With so many storage places from which to choose and new spacious and gorgeous facilities that are constantly opening -the one and only reason I remain at PS storage of maitland (I’ve been there for years and have had as many as four units at i e time) is because of staff like EDITH! My company has been with Public Storage for over 19 years. Yesterday was bittersweet as we closed out two outside storage units, bringing this long term relationship to an end. During our time at this property, Edith (property manager) maintained a clean property. After removing 765 boxes, we found both units very clean with hardly any of the rodent/insect trappings found on other properties after a long period of time. Even the Shred It representative commented on the cleanliness of the unit. Moreover, anytime there was an issue with the unit, Edith always called and kept us abreast so that we could resolve the issue in a timely manner. I highly recommend this property as Edith not only takes great pride in her work, but she is also very friendly.

In the last month, we have rented 3 units at this facility, realizing after the first one that we needed a larger one, then realizing after the second one that we needed a larger one still. Both of the women who work there, Edith and Lateisha, have been extremely helpful and accommodating. In the case of the second move, Edith got us in just in the nick of time as a freight truck was arriving to deliver 2 big pallets. We really would have been stuck had she not come through for us. Then she made sure the lightbulbs got changed. This facility, while expensive, is first rate.

We just moved out of our very clean and smallest climate controlled storage unit after renting it 8mths. We were very lucky to have Edith managing this location as she was able to provide us with one in which we could stand up inside, was on the ground floor and close to the door which was very helpful. There was always a free cart available just inside the door we used. On vacating the unit Jan. 31,2019 without scheduling a move-out, she was able to obtain authorization from her supervisor not to charge us for February. That was very generous of her! She's a hard worker and always thinking of her clients. If I have additional storage needs in the future, I definitely want it to be with Edith!

Edith was great! The only reason it is a 4 instead of a 5 is due to the computer system going down and having to be re-booted. The process was easy. Just a friendly reminder that the price of a lock is not included and you must have the type of locks that they currently use for the unit you decide to rent.

The service was impeccable, the ladies liz and erica were great and very informative about the storages and rates. I will recommend this storage site and those ladies to everyone and anyone I know because they made my transaction go very smoothly and fast. THANKS LADIES!!!

I work as an Outside Sales Rep in the Orland and surrounding areas and use the use Public Storage location off South Orlando Ave, in Maitland to store product and samples that I delivery to my Clients. The location is centrally located for my needs and the facility is well maintained. Edith provides Great customer service and is always helpful when I lock myself out my unit.

If you do need additional space she makes it very easy to move. The facility is very clean, carts are readily available and there is plenty of parking. Access to your storage unit is excellent. My first experience with any storage company. The storage unit was being rented by the amazing company I work for, to store my belongings while the damage to my home, due to hurricane Irma, was being repaired. I was under a lot of stress when I arrived, having just taken my dog to the emergency vet, and Edith was an angel! We bonded quickly, as we had a lot in common; both of our homes were damaged in hurricane Irma, she also has a dog and was sympathetic to my concern, and when I told her my 90 year old mom was waiting in the car she shared that her dad is 91 and she plays a big role in his care and that she wanted to get me through the process as fast as possible to get me back to my mom. The experience couldn't have been more pleasant and it's always a blessing when you cross paths with wonderful, compassionate people like Edith!

This is my first experience with a storage unit, and I was delighted to meet Edith and learn that she is responsible for this location. She was about to walk the property when I knocked on the window, and she promptly turned the "Back in x minutes" sign around to answer my questions. For example, they call you to remind you if your fee is due so you won't have to pay a late fee, but they do it in a very courteous manner.

This place and employees are wonderful! I've used storage facilities in the past with my current business and never had such a fast move in process. Edith was incredible! Great location and super clean!

To me it appears that Corporate policy is to replace current renters with new ones when the seasonal demand for space peaks. You must accept substantial increases in rent or leave. In short, the only customer they want to to serve is the next one. If it wasn't for the help from the local competent manager, Edith, I would have left long ago. I am now looking for an apartment with an additional bedroom for storage which would be cheaper and provide more space with quicker access.

After speaking to the office and arranging to rent the unit when I arrived with all of my stuff is when they informed me that I would need to buy their "special" lock costing an additional $16.00. This seemed excessive especially since I had my own lock that would have fit and there were units on either side of me using a regular lock. But I was informed that they were changing their policy and some people were grandfathered in. Then I had to wait 30+ minutes for the manager to write up a receipt I could use for reimbursement. She was unable to explain the charges to me and had to call up the higher up manager to explain. I ended up offering to come back to pick up the receipt because I couldn't wait any longer. Since I first moved in I have only been able to contact the property once by phone. They rarely answer the phone and it just goes to their answering service. The units are nice but the staff is pretty bad and seems unable to perform the duties of their jobs on most occasions. I would not have rented here if I knew all of this; I was kind of in a bind because once I saw how things were I already had my property scheduled to be shipped here.
