The staff was great. They offered discounts for direct deposit and add ons like 1st floor units for an extra 10.00 a month. They had me signed up and out the door in 20 minutes. Hassle free
Find a different storage unit. It's Sunday and they only have 4 carts for thier units. Also they only have 1 working elevator. The elevator situation is a mess on busy days. You have to put your code in to get to your specific level but if someone else puts their code in or summons the elevator - the elevator will not take you to your level it will take you to another level. One of the worst storage facilities I've been at - management doesnt care to rectify the cart situation or fix the elevators. I have a public storage in MD and it's way better than this one. Find another storage facility this one is managed terribly.
Absolutely amazing service the lady associate helped us transfer units with no headache and helped us out. She treated us like family and took care of our problem. Best public storage experience i’ve ever had.

The property’s clean which is why I gave it two stars but the hours are unreasonable and the employees rude. I’ve rented with Extra Space, U-Hail, even Public Storage in the distant past but I’ve NEVER rented with a storage unit that closes access to renters at the same time the office closes for the day.
I was helping a friend with multiple medical conditions move her couches from her house. She was slow so it’s take all day for her and her children to get things together and ready to move. I managed to get a smaller sofa on the roof of my car but, when I arrived to the storage location (4:30 pm on a Sunday) the women were really nasty is the way they told me that the storage closed in 30 minutes and she “wasn’t going to get in trouble for us.” This is just a suggestion but make access hours more reasonable for those who have to work on a 9-5 schedule or function outside of a 9-5/6 schedule?
I just moved in but I’ll be moving out very soon. Not being able to access my belongings within reasonable hours of when I need it is unreasonable.
On another occasion today, I walked past another lady who was trying to access her unit and the elevators weren’t working. She called and was leaving a message with the office but…I don’t know what happened with that.
Diona and her pretty freckles was very helpful and understanding. Michele and Chyna were also friendly and helpful. Thank you all!

This place deserves no stars. I have been to this location 3 times in two days and each time the system was disabled. I had no access to my items locked away in the building. I called several times only to receive loss poor customer service for everyone I spoke to. The property manager is beyond rude and very unconcerned about what seems to be some kind of recurring error they are experiencing. Not sure how Public storage can justify this.

Pretty inexpensive to rent a storage unit here. There are 4 floors with plenty of security measures to access the building.
They supply hand trucks and you can pull up front to the door to load and unload.
In a convenient area in central Fort Lauderdale.

Awful experience. I had a unit with them 5x5 for over 3 years, I always paid. Plus late fees. $180-200 a month. My unit was emptied and sold, without my knowledge, and now 3 months later when I was still logging in to PAY MY BILL ; do I all of a sudden NOT have a unit with them!!!!
These items were EXPENSIVE and IRREPLACEABLE.
I have not been able to have a single location answer the phone or my emails. I have called and left 2 messages with the company director as the only way I even found out about this was via their chat bot rep!!! I can’t even talk to a person!!
They collected rent for my SOLD unit for MONTHS.

I found this storage facility on google maps. I got there easily, parking was easy, property was clean and most importantly customer service was excellent! Upon entering the store, there was one employee outside and she was happy to direct me even without asking. Then, I got inside and there were other employees that wanted to assist. Janel assisted me from the beginning to the end of my transaction. I had not even secured a reservation, but once Janel assisted me (her warm, welcoming personality), I knew I wanted to rent a storage at this facility.
Janel even took me to the unit to show me the size before I rented. Honestly, the entire office was helpful. I had a very full morning and coming to this office, with Janel's assistance, put my mind at ease. Thank you to all.

As all storage facilities, you begin with one price and every 2 months the price increases. This needs to be regulated by the state government. There should be one price for the entire year, as in every other monthly expense we already pay. If my mortgage or car payment increased every 2 or 3 months, we would all be walking to work and sleeping outdoors.

0 stars. Paid for my unit online, went in, opened the unit and there were hundreds of tiny roaches running out. I went back to the front desk and they found another unit for me. I had to pay more and there was no longer the special I found online. One of the workers walked me to my unit to make sure there were no roaches and this one didn't. He told me to unload my things and I can start packing them in. When I put in my code after he left, I couldn't get in. It said it was 5pm and the closing time. At no time did they tell me they were about to close and I would t have access to the the unit or the gates at that time. I drove back to the office and they were still there. They told me they have no control and there's nothing they could do. The manager still didn't tell me I wouldn't have access to the gate to even drive out of the property. Drove back to put back my things in the car only to realize my code doesn't work at that time to let me out the gate. Called customer service and they said I'll have to leave my car on the property and walk out through the pedestrian gate. I had my kids in the car and everything Inpacked for the storage. A friend had her car packed with my things as well and we were both trapped in there with them saying there's no way to get out. This is the worst experience I have ever had and would never choose this place again. The next day I received a text from them saying that no one is allowed on the property after closing time....it wasn't my fault, I got there way before they were closing, it was their error and their responsibility.

This location was very welcoming. I was assisted by Janel who was awesome. She was courteous and I admired the fact that she not only acknowledged me respectfully, she addressed my children as well. She helped me a lot and made it easy to ask for help needed while I was on the property. I appreciate how she managed me and the customers that were there when I arrived.
On July 25th went into this Public Storage establishment and was greeted by 2 Employees. Very Friendly and the facility was clean and lil stuffy in but was ok. Janel was very informative and clear on everything and pleasant to do business with. The process on renting a Storage Unit went fast and smoothly.

Staff was friendly but. This is a large storage facility maybe a quarter of a mile long. Why are there no moving carts available? The office says they have carts but they are rarely there. I wanted to move out but had some heavy boxes. I had to rent a cart from u haul.
Rasheeda was amazing !!! So sweet with a smile on her face! I was having some issues that couldn t be resolved on the internet, and she along with Gina made sure to get it solved!

We set a reservation online for a 10x10 with a good price for the unit. When we got to the facility we worked with Marcela. She said there were no more 10x10s on the first floor so she upgraded us to a 10x15 at no additional cost. On top of that, she was very professional and personable. She showed us our unit and clearly explained how everything works. We are very happy we chose Public Storage. The place definitely leaves you feeling confident that your personal belongings are safe and secure....and a special thank you to Marcela! She made it easy to choose Public Storage.
UPDATE
So things have changed over time since storing my things here. Suddenly my bill doubled and every time I tried to dispute it I got hung up on or told that I was getting transferred to someone and then getting hung up on. I went from paying $130 a month to over $270. The place is always a disaster with trash everywhere and there are never any carts available. Even though it's climate controlled it really isn't. Everyone leaves the door open constantly which causes it to be just as warm inside as it is outside. I found mold all over my stuff because of it.
Of course I tried to ask for Marcela so she could maybe help me out with this issue but of course she no longer worked there. So do not rent here if you want to get screwed over and pay ridiculous prices for a fairly unsafe area to store your precious items.

This is my second time using Public Storage. The first time I used them was in 2018 and it was further south on 441 right before Peters Road and we had access until 9 or 10pm. This location is horrible. You only have access until 6pm, what kind of hours is that? Working people typically get of at 5pm and with traffic it’s always impossible to get there timely during the week. My husband got locked in and for 2 hours couldn’t get help to exit. The lady manger is so rude and has a very nasty attitude. This location should really look into having access extended until 8/9pm. And I’m pretty sure the reviews are false! They ask you for 5 star reviews on initial contact but once you move it it’s 1 star service.

Been with them from June every month I make payment I only owe November rent due to some delay I made payment for October on Oct 6 for month of Oct yet they email me on Oct 10 say I owe $139 how do I owe again when I paid on Oct 6 this is the second time they making me make 2 payments to be honest it's wrong when I have reciets for Oct 6 payment I only supose to owe November 1st payment hopefully they deal with this this issue how do you charge twice in a month

I was not expecting to receive wonderful service from this unit based on previous reviews but thankfully for me, my experience was great. I got a good price online for a 10x15 and I did not have any issues in person. The unit was clean and easily accessible.

$290 a month for a small drive up unit. Plus fees, plus overcharges, and they auctioned off my items!!! RIPOFF! Was never served with papers, was never told price would change. They advertise same small unit for $147.00. I paid 14 straight payments. To file a FORMAL COMPLAINT go to Ashley Moody, Attorney General website, print the complaint forms at bottom, mail to the Office of the Attorney General with all documents you were given. Note the FALSE REVIEWS, note the deceptive business practices and charges. The AG will investigate.

I've had a storage for 2 years now. The price went from $200 to now $600+ monthly. The floor inside of the unit has a puddle of water and the humidity has ruined my furniture. Now, they are open banker's hours. What about the people who work those hours too and need access to their items? How are you accommodating your customers? I started moving out Sunday. I came straight from work today to finish moving out, with movers, but I can't, because we are locked out now. Several people were attempting to access their units which means they didn't update the customers of the changes. Public Storage must find a way to accommodate their customers, especially being that we are severely overcharged. They open late and close early. The after hours phone number on the keypad it none working.

This is a nice place I consider that I am fair as I can be but the hours just don't work anymore... the old schedule worked I believe for most of people that have to go to work on a regular shift from 8am-5pm where as of right now we don't have access till 9:30am-6pm in my case either i will have to leave work early or I will have to loose pretty much my whole morning of work due to change of hour I believe that the old schedule was a lot more convenient for a lot of us.(acces from 6am-9pm)

This place is nasty and smells really bad there is trash piled up in open units that make it smell stank in the air condition facility and all the hallways have trash throughout them the outside has trash plied up everywhere and I can’t get to a manger to let them know what going on this is sad.

The change an hours makes no sense as that was the time most people get off work. The change was unreasonable one especially when we continue to pay the same price for less access access time!?!? Help me understand the reasoning behing the decrease in access time but no decrease in cost for the customer that's getting less than what they originally planned.

This is not organized properly right the manager that's up here is very disturbing and disrespectful I can only wonder who is the owner is terrible she really doesn't have no communication towards the customer it's the Indian young lady with the attitude y'all should be ashamed for allowing her to do this to us as paying customer who really liked using this storage unit y'all gotta do better this is unacceptable from the manager to the owner.
Close way to early and open way to late 9:30-6pm is ridiculous while other storages stay open late

Very professional staff and clean units. I had a problem with my unit size (due to my underestimating my needs) it was handled without any problems and very prompt. As long as I live in this area I will continue to do business with this particular storage company.
I searched for a while for a clean, affordable storage unit in my vicinity and I read very good reviews for this particular public storage. I am pleased to say it deserves 5 stars due to cleanliness, excellent customer service, and price. I got my unit this week and had most of my stuff moved in when I realized it wasn't going to be big enough. When I came to a decision that I definitely needed a bigger unit I called and I was transferred to the property manager Gina. As soon as she got it approved for me to move to a bigger unit without a hassle the same day (as she promised) she went above and beyond to accommodate me. These days that's not the norm for big businesses. I want to thank Gina and her staff for everything they have done.
I was so pleased with Gina. She was so kind and professional,she waved my late fee and gave me a break on my storage, for the next 3 months🙏👍l was upset with the new charges but she helped me in a tough time in my life….. thank you all so much!!!!

To be honest this was a once in a lifetime experience and I'm simply amazed that I was able to pay cash. Don't rent at this location 23104. They don't have pull carts available for your used. All staff here liar about issue regard status. My unit all the way in back of build. Not one cart available. Then restroom don't have toilet paper or bathroom. Wow this is crazy.....
Then the staff save one cart inside the office. Then tell paying customer no cart available. this is totally ridiculous paying customers can't even get carts available a billion-dollar corporation cant order pushcarts to satisfy the paying customer.

Elevators were out of order. The solution was to open the doors and let people walk their stuff up 3 flights. No discounts on rent for the inconvenience. They also commonly don't have carts available (though it's not like you can use it on stairs).
