I've been renting a unit at this location for about a year now and have always been a bit frustrated with the management, or the seeming lack thereof. However, I went into the office today and was greeted by a new face: Emily, (the new manager as of a couple months ago from what I hear) who was friendly, extraordinarily helpful, and genuinely empathetic in both of my interactions with her.
I've worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years so I know how big a difference it makes when someone actually cares about what they're doing. I also know how disgustingly hard it can be to find that in the real world.
Cynicism aside, I can honestly say that Emily stopped me from moving my storage unit to a different company and she didn't even know she needed to. Thanks, Emily.

I came in a little over a week ago and needed a space fast, Emily was able to get me a reservation and lock in a dollar promo for me, and was even flexible with my schedule that changed suddenly the day of move in, the property is clean the space is nice and just what I need. Sometimes life throws you curveballs — and sometimes, if you’re lucky, you cross paths with people who help you navigate them.
That was the case when I ran into Andrea again — this time at the E Evans Public Storage location. I had just rented a unit there and was dealing with a particularly large, heavy item I couldn’t manage on my own. My scheduled help had fallen through, and after struggling (unsuccessfully) for hours trying to unload this beast from a 26-foot truck, I was completely drained — physically and mentally.
Out of nowhere, Andrea appeared. She’d seen the item the night before and recognized it immediately. My first reaction was, “Oh no, here comes a fine or a warning.” Instead, what I got was calm professionalism, a listening ear, and most importantly, a conversation that led to a solution.
Andrea didn’t judge or scold — she simply listened. She explained her responsibilities, took a few photos, and documented the situation as she needed to. But then — and this is where it got good — she said:
“So what’s the plan?”
We exchanged ideas. She offered her thoughts. I shared what hadn’t worked. By the end of the conversation, I had a plan that made sense. I left, listed the item on Facebook Marketplace, and — boom — it was gone the next day. Problem solved.
What stood out wasn’t just that Andrea helped me troubleshoot a frustrating situation — it’s how she did it. With respect, professionalism, and a kind human touch that’s all too rare these days.
I walked away with a lighter load (literally and emotionally) and a clearer head — because someone took the time to treat me like a person, not a problem.
Thank you, Andrea. You have no idea how much your help and attitude meant during that stressful moment. I won’t forget it.

Cynthia saved my bacon. I showed up to the gate with 3 movers and a 24 foot truck ready to offload my stuff into my unit. But to my horror my gate code and app wouldn’t work.
Luckily Cynthia was just coming off of lunch and back into the office. After some back and forth she diagnosed the issue and solved it by reseting my passcode. Just in time to get the movers back to putting my stuff in storage and get me back on schedule.

I was honestly going into this place a bit nervous because I’ve never dealt with storage units before, and was hoping I wasn’t going to get taken advantage of and ripped off because of my ignorance and abrupt situation. I want to give Jeff a huge shout out at the Evans location for really just explaining everything to me and huge help with getting me a better price than I was expecting! Definitely made my month a lot less stressful. Also, shout out to Kenny at the other Evans location! When I called, he had great over the phone customer service and was the one that invited me to come to the office in person so he could help me further. (I accidentally showed up to the wrong location not knowing there were two storage places on Evans) So Kenny, if you see this, I’m sorry and also thank you. Very helpful experience overall you guys.

It was my first time getting a storage unit and Jaffrey answered all of my questions. Really honest, nice and helpful guy. The prices for units are one of the lowest in the area. Definitely would recommend this location to everyone.

I was having a terrible day yesterday and to top it off I lost my storage keys. I asked the manager if she could assist me, she kindly empathetically explained I would have to call a lock smith. I was pissed but she helped find one that wasn’t very expensive and was pretty fast at getting there or it seemed that way because while I waited so did Jennifer and she really seemed to care offered me water and made me laugh I got in my storage and forgot all about my horrible day. Thanks Jennifer you are amazingly kind the customer service world needs more people like you. True gem..

I have had to use different storage places throughout moving around a bunch and this one hands down has had the best customer service experience I've ever had. Shannon always helps me with whatever I need and keeps the place well kept. It nice to be treated not like just another person using their facility.
Shannon provided great service and helped entertain our two kids at the same time! We were in and out with our reservation and virtual paperwork within 20 minutes.
I have multiple units here and Shannon is always so helpful and kind. I came into the office again because I was having an issue with our door not closing right. I was so glad to see that Shannon was there again. Like last time she did not disappoint with her kindness, urgency to help and stellar customer service skills. She took care of the issue right away and fixed it with some stuff she had on hand. We were in and out all afternoon and I have never seen someone work so hard as that manager does. She was cleaning outside each time we drove by as well as dangerously by the road. We will continue to recommend to friends and family. Thank you Public Storage for having such a great manager. Once again deserves 100 stars.

I was disappointed when no manager was at the location for my reservation, but soon after I left Jenapher called from another location and was sorry for the inconvenience but could be there shortly to rent the unit. I was glad I didn't go far and she was there when I went back. Jenapher was very nice and professional and I was able to get my stuff stored. Thank you Jenapher for helping me so quickly.

I walk by the Storage facility at 5005 E Evans almost every day. Realized I needed a storage unit..so I reserved a unit online a couple days later, then confirmed wStacy the Mgr who was friendly and helpful. I paid for my rental unit and moved in the next day. If you have questions, the staff will do their best to help you. I was glad I stopped by there.
