The property managers Nancy and Debbie were very helpful when I had some hard questions about unreasonable rental increases. We are vacating because 4 years ago when we purchased the unit we began at $85 for a 10x15 unit and today for that same unit we were charged $266.00. Every 6 months we have been receiving rate increases anywhere from $20 -$60 with very little explanation or justification. We feel as though corporate public storage is taking advantage of the public and we would love answers from someone who is making these decisions to be able to justify these unreasonable rental increases .

Edit: Debbie came to talk to me after I left a negative review initially to let me know she requested a price increase review as she thought the price was increased more than usual. While I did get temporary price reduction just make sure you understand that the price will most likely get increased after the 6 month mark. Either way happy with Debbie and the lengths she went to ensure the negative feedback was addressed. This shows that they do care about their customers which goes a long way in my book. They jacked up my price by 25% after month 5 for no reason. I understand everything is going up in price but they basically gave me a fair rate just to get me in and raised it by extra $35 per month. I will be out of here ASAP. Price gauging at its finest! Stay away unless you like getting a huge price increase notice in mail few months later

This review is 100% for Nancy and a very helpful customer service rep over the phone that outshined her colleagues. Public Storage the company put me through more strife yesterday than I care to recount. For reference I'm almost certain her name was Nancy but I can't call the location to make sure, the robo answering machine simply won't let me through to her location to verify. Anyway, she was incredibly helpful. She did in 10 minutes what several customer service reps couldn't in two hours.

Fine location, has changed hands recently and staff is not particularly present. Was cleaning out a unit and was unable to locate staff all day, with the office being locked despite posted open hours indicating it should be open. Very frustrating experience.

Debbie gave us exceptional & remarkable service when we came in to rent a storage unit. She went above and beyond and really made sure we understood the entire process. Definitely felt comfortable and confident renting a storage unit through public storage because of her expertise! EDIT- While my edited portion does not attest to the customer service received, it is simply my observation after use of storage unit. An important FYI when considering a storage unit: We first purchased and there were no poles to hinder our move. Super convenient & easy. Pull up & unload. Now there are poles blocking unloading area. So unless you have a drive up unit, it’s a hassle! We had to park in front of the poles, maneuver a DRESSER through the poles, all just to plop everything down in front of the door and enter our code. We also use a dolly for other items…the poles make it so difficult to fit all of them through there, Needless to say, a couch is for sure a squeeze and/or a fun little Tetris adventure through the poles into the doors! It adds an extra unnecessary step. Had it been this way when we signed the papers, it would have been a huge deterrent. We noticed other people unloading smaller items (household items, boxes, bags, etc) & they also had to park and then walk back and forth multiple times from their car to the door whereas before they simply could just pull up to the door. Seems like an inconvenience & hassle whether you have smaller items or bigger items. Just FYI when considering a unit here, it is not going to be easy unloading/loading!

Broken door was torture to deal with otherwise pretty standard storage facility. Temperature though was perfect

I found this storage facility for my clients. Not only were they very friendly, they were also very clean, and helpful! 2 ladies helped myself and my clients. I don't recall one of their names, but most recently Debbie helped us. She was so very nice! She made sure we had all the supplies we needed to move the furniture and T.V's with out damaging them! When she saw all our help arriving, she opened the gate without us having to stop and open it ourselves! If I ever need a storage, I definitely know where I am going! This storage facility is CLEAN, FRIENDLY, and AFFORDABLE!

This place is just a joke at this point. We upgraded to a larger unit- there was a special online that we could switch and not pay a new startup fee. The website wasn’t working so we called and The lady would not honor the deal that was being offered online. We asked politely if she could just waive it since she said she is a manager and she declined. It’s not our fault the website was down so she should have been able to do it. On top of it, everytime we go they do not have hand carts to help roll big items. A sign says “carts available for your convenience” but there is only ONE. you have to check it from the front office, during business hours!!! What if there are 5 people there?! We can’t share one. Get more and have them available to check out. Then she had the audacity to tell me I could rent a cart from a Uhaul down the road. I am paying for storage HERE, Why should I be further inconvenienced to go somewhere else? I will keep my storage there for now but I am looking elsewhere because this is just ridiculous. I’ll be telling my friends in the area to be sure not to go here either.

New customer here, east set up online with contactless rental. Easy to navigate but I suggest doing it on a laptop. When I came in to check out my unit my access code wasn't working but Mike helped me out real quick when my access code wasn't registering and got me in easily.

There was a manager by the name of Mel who helped me so much and made my experience so much easier. He even went far and beyond to call me and make sure everything was good. He also walked me through the agreements. He was awesome and polite as well as very patient.

They're nice to you until they put your unit up for auction. Most facilities give you at least 60 days before putting your unit up for auction; however, they put it up for auction after 36 days. (Read the fine print.) I was actually really satisfied when I first rented the unit here, but then I had to deal with a robot working there today, who was unwilling to work with me to postpone the auction. When I spoke to her on the phone, it sounded like she didn't care at all. Completely heartless and callous. On top of that, she was rude and interrupted. I asked for her name, she wouldn't give me her first name. She claimed she sent me a receipt via email, but I never received it. I had to take the initiative and ask for a confirmation number because she didn't. If she had given me the confirmation number as fast as she jotted down my credit card information and processed my payment, I probably wouldn't be writing this review. I thought this was ridiculous, so I went there in person to talk to her. She made no eye contact, and all she wanted was money for a new lock. She wouldn't even acknowledge she was rude and professional on the phone, and that she should've taken the initiative to provide me a cofirmation number. Further, she wouldn't give me her first name, and asked that I wait in my truck until she unlocks my storage unit! I told her again that I had some important stuff in there, and she didn't care at all. She really should be ashamed of herself. When I went to the office, she should've explained the rationale for the 36 days; what types of agreements can be made to postpone the auction; and why I had to ask for a confirmation number (when the email receipt didn't send). I think this is a probably great company, but it would be nice if they didn't "trick" you into renting for that $1 for the first month (you still have to pay $18 for a lock and get insurance), didn't put your unit up for auction after only 36 days of not paying, and had employees that were competent and willing to work with you before just auctioning your VALUABLES off.

I would give 100 ⭐'s to Steven and Jessica at this location.. not only are they great at what they do but they go that extra mile for the customers.... any time I had a issue with when I was gonna be able to pay my bill they always worked with me...I've had a unit here about a year now and they became a part of my family all the way to the point where I make sure I stop by the office a couple times every month just to hang out and talk for 45 mins to a hour to keep that friendship that you can see means a lot to them to have with all of their customers..I've had a ton of storage units at many different locations and I highly recommend only going to this location and talking to my friends Steven and Jessica.

I just got a storage space at extra space storage and Jessica Giles was super helpful and kind. She was very informative and was able to give me a bunch of information about which size to pick, insurance policies and materials I could use for packing up. Yoooo! Steve & Antonja together provided the best experience! Antonja was there on my move-in date and was so kind after I’d showed up too early haha! She was warm, inviting, and patient as I had movers on the clock and I hadn’t secured my unit yet. She provided all of the rules and regulations in a way I was able to understand and with kindness and sincerity. The next day, Steve, was there and spoke to me by my name. Which he knew by my keying into the box! 😂. He shared stories about camping that I’ll remember forever for my own safety while making sure my name was correct in the system because, well, it’s Ashly without and ‘e’. I get that ALL THE TIME! I'm in Denver for just a few months for work, and while I'm bouncing from hotel to hotel, I really needed a safe and affordable place to keep my extra stuff. I tried to make the reservation online, but the unit I wanted was the last one they had with the 1st free month promo, so it was 1st come 1st serve. Antonja called me the very next morning and was very polite in explaining why she could not hold the unit for me. I was there in a few hours to sign the lease and Antonja could not have been nicer or more accommodating. She's the best!!!

My x and i rented from this place at the same time, unfortunatly, my x stalked me everytime i went up to storage an made all kinds of remarks to steve, the facilty manager. I tried to explain to Steve, that there was a protection order against my x, but the storage facilty asked me to remove my things from my unit and take it somewhere else becuase i was seen speeding out of the facilty an leaving a cup behind an that was against the rules. One cup? It belonged to my x and the reason i sped out of the facilty was becuase my x was coming after me fiercly. I was afraid. I begged them to review the tapes, as they have a high tech security system, but the manager refused to accept my reasons as to why i was behaving erratic every time my x ahowed uo. Apparently he does not understand domestic violence or terror and has no compassion for females and their emotional unstabilty when they are being stalked an harrassed. I am filing a law suit agaisnt thia biased company becuase i gave them plenty of notice and they failed to protect me, but rather kicked me out of their facilty making me a sitting duck with all of my belongings. Since this has happened my x has broken into my new storage with less security an stolen everything that i had that was near an dear to me. He continues to stalk an terrorize me. I would def. Not recomment this facilty to any woman that may be experiencing the same situations. Please be weary of predudice places thay discriminate agaisnt helpless women and children.. My experience was with Antonja. I had a billing issue. She took the time to research an answer to my question. I was very aggitated, she stayed professional and listened to my concerns without interrupting. She told me what she would do and followed up on her return calls to me, which made me feel she was genuinely interested. Not only did she respond with a answer that I liked, but she also found an additional discrepancy from taking her time looking deeper into my account.
