I had gone to the wrong units cause my booking agent sent me to the wrong one and they were booked at this location but the manager erica went out of her way to help me rebook properly and gave me excellent descriptions of what I was actually going be renting. Erica has went above & beyond her role as a manager at this location. She has great customer service, she was able to resolve my electrical issues, she is always so welcoming and full of smiles. Plus she is very patient with all of my questions and pretty funny on top of it all.

I was looking for a short term unit that was easy to access. Loved that at this place, all the units are drive-up! Made it really easy to move items in and out, even solo. I also got a discounted first 1.5 months, so watch out for good deals here. I was able to manage most of the registration process online / via the app, but check-out required interfacing with the folks at the front desk (who were lovely).

I planned to move from San Jose to Manteca and needed a space to store my belongings for a month due to my house not being ready for move in . I was on a budget and Erika was able to assist me with an affordable unit . I was in a rush one day and accidentally locked my unit open. I didn’t notice. Erica was nice enough to call and notify me. She put an extra lock until I came in to lock it properly😊

Staff is great, great location. Only thing is I wish they had an opinion to get a roll up door. Booked over the phone and was never asked if needed. Had to store some big equipment and it was not easy with 40 inch width doors

I’ve had a storage unit at this location since 2019. My experience here was very pleasant as the staff was very commutative and attentive to any questions I may have had. The manager Joseph Ortiz was very nice and informing as well. I just ended my account with them since I finally moved into my new place. I will for sure return if I need a unit again in the future.

Every other storage unit company in the area, has given me a hard time when trying to get a storage unit. This is the second time I rent a storage unit at this location and both times were so quick and easy. Other storages in the area need better customer service. The customer service here is unmatched.

I got to my unit today and one side of the storage water logged from rain. They are having issues with several units. I'm not sure insurance will cover water damage or not but I have a strong feeling this happens every year and only fix a couple hear and there. I doubt this is a over night problem. I will update with how they handle the issue and also how insurance handles it.

My feedback for this location is I appreciate how hard Erica works to give great customer service. In the past I have had my space broken into at nother storage. This location I do not have to worry. Erica continues to be on the property making her presences known. With that being said I feel secure knowing she runs the property and keeps my belongings safe.

I love this public storage location. I’ve always had friendly encounters with the staff members. I can tell the boss runs a tight ship. Whether I come in the morning, afternoon or evening, I’m always pleased with the facility. I love the alerts I get when I accidentally leave my storage unlocked and I appreciate that whenever I need something, the staff is there for me. It’s a great location too, it’s right on tully road with its own stop lights so I never have to rush out onto crazy traffic when I leave. Highly recommended!

A few weeks ago, there was an incident where the key to the lock on my unit broke off and I was unable to access my possessions inside my storage space. After jumping through a few hoops for security measures, which I appreciate a great deal, I was finally able to get the lock removed by the District Manager Joseph Ortiz! This man made the process simple, straight forward and quick. I appreciate his efforts and all the assistance from the Public Storage Staff!

My storage unit and another next to me were broken into last night. Thank heavens nothing was taken. However the other unit’s person said that a few years back at this location, the same thing happened, the lock was repaired, and the following night they broke in again and emptied her entire unit. Now, the manager here, Sheila, is saying that they will have the door jam repaired but after that there is NOTHING they can do. Although they initially told me “24 hour” survailance, she now says they don’t film the hallways and have no way of knowing what happened. I have called the police but I can’t move my stuff today.

We stopped in this week and were assisted by Lilly and Erica. There customer service is beyond exceptional. Thank you and we will be sure to recommend this location.

Took nearly 20 minutes to fill out the paperwork and get the key...the make you use their lock, and pay insurance...and not open 24 hours. I feel like there are better options for storage.

Worse place ever. I don't recommend you get public storage. The rates and time they are open ridiculous.

I have been a client of the Public Storage location at 475 Tully Road, San Jose, CA, for several years. For the past few years, the facility, which is an older facility, had really fallen apart in regards to its upkeep, clientele, and security. My storage bin was broken into and I was greatly disappointed at how fast the facility had gone down. The location recently changed management staff. Since the change, I have been impressed with how the staff has improved the upkeep, the clientele, and the security (upgraded bin locks, lighting and video surveillance). The sight is once again under top-notch management. The staff, Erica, Fatima, and Lilly are professional, courteous, and kind.

Stopped in to pay my bill today and had the pleasure to be assisted by Fatima and Erica. Thank you for your patience and customer service.

Units outside the gated entrance are promoted as having 24 hour access. However, the onsite resident manager(?) seems to be unaware of this rental perk and tries to discourage client access to the units after 9pm. Also, although these units have overhead lights with wall switches, there is no electricity to power the lighting. This makes it difficult if you forget to bring your flashlight at night... **UPDATE** I HAVE LOWERED MY RATING TO 1 STAR DUE TO THE FACT THAT AFTER POSTING THIS REVIEW, THE MANAGER BANNED ME FROM THE PROPERTY. PLEASE NOTE, HOWEVER, THAT THE PROPERTY IS FINALLY UPGRADING AND REPAIRING THE ELECTRICAL WIRING TO ALL UNITS THANKS TO INTERVENTION BY DISTRICT MANAGEMENT.

I had made an online reservation for a 5 x 10 storage unit. I went down there to look it over to make sure the storage size was big enough. Alycia, who works at the front desk, assisted me. She took me to the storage unit I had on hold and showed me the exact unit. I realized when I saw it that it would be too small. She then explained to me that there was a bigger unit available 10 x 10 and that I could still get the internet price because I had made the reservation online. I was very happy about that as I had been pricing storage units in my area and knew this was a good deal. She then walked us over to the 10 x 10 unit and showed me exactly where it was and let us look it over. She was very patient with all of our questions, and very friendly. She then processed all of the paperwork for me to get the unit, and explained the contract rules and pricing. I was also happy to get the discount of paying a dollar for one month. I had my 2 grand kids with me who kept fighting each other, and running around, but she never lost her patience. Overall I was happy that I choose this location and I would recommend using this location.
