BEWARE!!! PUBLIC STORAGE RAISES from $300 RENT month (04/2019 to "$600 12/2023 per month AT WILL THERE ARE NO LIMIT!!! Look like I will just rent a bigger home instead...SAD!!!
Shady business practices. I needed a long term storage unit so I waited until the 4th of July when there was a special; 50% off select units for the as long as your renting. I asked about prices increases and they said any price increases in the future would also be discounted by 50% and rent increases would be based on market value.
Flash forward 6 months and they’re increasing my base price by over $200. Even with the “50%” discount the price hike makes it so I’ll be paying more then what they’re advertising as full price for other units my size that are available in the same facility.
Looks like I’ll probably have to move back to my old storage unit that doesn’t lie and scam. They’re clearly increasing my rate ten fold to negate the discount I have on the unit.
At other storage facilities, including other Public Storage facilities I’ve only seen price increases of around $20/month at most. This is ridiculous.
Don't fall for the bait. They raised my monthly fee $100

AVOID!!! Their are homeless people living here and reports of a lot of break-ins into storage units and staff dont care. I was told by the front desk Jackie that I would not be charged if I closed my account with in first 3 days of the month and if I am charged I will recieve a full refund, I confirmed with her twice and she said yes I will recieve a full refund if I get charged. So I proceeded to close my acount on May 2, 2023 and was still charged $220.50 for the whole month of May which I am not using. I spoke to the manager on site and she said she could not issue me a refund only the district manager has the authority to do so. I was given Antonio Borja info. so I left voicemails and customer service has also notified him about my situation and he has not responded back. Very unprofessional and very dishonest public storage location that should be investigated. I wont do business here again.
Our storage unit was broken into and most of our valuables were stolen. I won't go into all the details, but this reeked of an inside job. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Alhambra PD gave us a few referrals for Storage facilities that never had a break-in. We've been happy since leaving Public Storage. (FYI - this location gets lots of storage unit break-ins according to Alhambra PD.)

My boyfriend and I have been searching for storage for our bulk items. We had checked out a previous locations and were not happy with the storage unit. Therefore, when we recalled the Public Storage at Alhambra. It all worked out well. In addition, Daisy was accommodating, gave us a tour, answered all our questions, and was respectful. I highly recommend this Public Storage. It has clean maintenance, excellent customer service, and a nice area.
