I don’t feel safe at this facility. Sketchy and dirty. Trying to figure out if management even cares. People are rarely in the office, probably because no one wants to work in that environment, can’t blame them. Rent increased, so I moved out. I don’t think I should have to pay that much for a place when I don’t think my belongings are safe. Public Storage is a joke.

Have been at this location for a little over a month, received an email stating my move out process has been completed ( I did not at anytime inquire or request to be moved out ) and called within minutes to get this issue fixed. Was told by the employee working it should be resolved within 48 hours, a week later I'm still receiving zero help in getting this resolved. I have been locked out of my unit which I visit almost daily and have had zero help. It's pretty sad that this is even an issue and is happening in the first place. Please avoid this place, they get you in at a low rate wait a few months give you no reason that the prices are increasing other than their greed and jack your rate up leaving you with two options continue to pay or move out. Was recently terminated with no warning and was only given 48 hours to get all my stuff out. Worst customer service I've ever experienced across the board. They do not care about your situation in the least all they care about is getting the most money out of you. I highly recommend going to see Justin at Arizona State storage just on the street awesome man family owned and operated when you call you talk to him not some trashy recording and he won't jack your rates like this place does

I've been storing stuff at this place for years now and they increase my rate all the time. They won't give you a warning or have a discussion with you when they don't like you, they will just evict you with no right to appeal. Hands down worst management

I'd like to say to thank Jeff from Curry road. He is the sweetest guy. He was very helpful in answering my questions. Very knowledgeable of the products. He listens, and he put me in what I needed, not he wanted to make a commission. I will highly recommend public storage because of Jeff, and his professionalism. Thank you Jeff!

Sandy and Peter were great! They were able to help reset my access code when the app wasn’t working for me and they guided me to my storage unit. Overall a very positive experience.

Gate always takes 3 tries to register to open. Move in was a snap facility is clean and virtual employee was cool helpful.

I have rented from a lot of storages over the last 20 years with my business and by far this storage is the safest feeling and most professional that I've been at. Peter's in excellent manager does a great job of keeping the property under control and cleaned up and all the people that come in and work on the days that he is not here are definitely good young men and women. I never have a feeling of being unsafe when I'm in this facility even if I'm by myself. I would highly suggest out of all the public storages even though it's an outside facility and no climate control this would be a choice that you would pick.

I deal with a lot of different storage company's and deal in buying the auction lockers as well. You get a sense that most don't care or care to be available when you need something. Not only is Peter (the manager at the location) AVAILABLE but he actually is a great guy himself. The place is very well maintained and kept taking away the feeling of being somewhere rundown that you have to look over your shoulder all the time (or that feeling you need to). I will 100% be dealing with this location as much as possible. When you find the good ones you mark them on the map. Mark this one

Out of all the storage places I've rented at, this location is the best. I feel my stuff here is safe and the management here is friendly and fair. As long as I need a storage unit in Scottsdale, I will use public storage units and this location on McDowell rd!

Secure location. Responsive staff. What impresses me most is the professionalism from Peter, a Public Storage staff member who actually is sincere and....professional. Peter is a testament to the priority Pub. Stor. places on its hiring. Bravo!

My unit was robbed by the yardman employee. He stole everything he could carry out of my unit. When I busted him he dug my clothes, expensive down/ and leather coats, and Italian purses out the dumpster. He threw them on the ground... I contacted management and they didn't care, and did nothing about his criminal theft of my things. I spent $86 dry cleaning clothes, and Italian leather purses... He stole 2 years of ceramics I made at Mesa college..I never found any of my pieces...

The website is very easy to use and the sign up process is smooth.

Staff is rude and completely unhelpful. Might be better experience online and know nothing about their pricing but the staff in particularly Deborah isn't worth your time dealing with unless you liked getting talked down to. I don't have a unit here as I buy storage units from time to time. Never has the clerk helping me had a knowledge of what was in a unit the way Deborah did. Almost as if she had been in the unit before. Everything of any value was missing from unit and I'm am really curious how they do their lien process. With that said I wouldn't do any business with this place unless you are open to them looking through your stuff.

I have had a unit here for well over a year and I must comment on the how great the management is. I typically deal with Debbie, the manager, but the entire team is good to work with. Debbie is always kind, professional, and polite. She always greets customers with a smile and is willing to help in any way she can. She also goes the extra mile to always keep the facility clean and in working order and to accommodate the needs of renters.

Purchased a unit in the auctions this was my first experience and the manager Debbie has been amazing the units are out side but there is a very clean well kept restroom available easy to find by the gate. The place is kept incredibly clean and Debbie has really made an incredible impression on us during this experience.. I really have never been more pleased with how we have been treated thank you ..

All outside units allow dirt into the unit (I get it) but these doors need some type of rubber flap for the door perhaps a roll-Up door rather than swing door. The staff, Peter specifically was very helpful and friendly.

Good location and pricing. Doesn't have the best selection of space and most have swing doors as opposed to roll-up/garage doors, but Peter was incredibly helpful.

I cannot confirm other individual's experiences at this location, but unfortunately I was the victim of a burglary of my storage unit and was notified by the engineer who splits his time between locations. The location does not have security cameras that cover everyone's storage unit, and the location does not have staff onsite. The individual(s) who hit my storage unit cut through their latch in lieu of cutting my lock, and at this time my storage unit is still damaged with my material inside (public storage did provide a new lock). Currently I have not received support outside of the assistant Katie who did her best. I am still waiting for feedback from Public Storage for getting this resolved to ensure the items I still have in the unit are safe, and to discuss how they can with a straight face increase my monthly bill by $61 a month without notice after this situation. I was told that I was only one of a few recent individuals who have been through the same situation. I do not mean this to be a rant, but I feel when an individual's possessions where under the protection of a company and are being compensated for it, they should do their best to provide support when they cannot live up to the situation, or at least provide a since of urgency for communication.

Public Storage is the absolute worst company to do business with. Totally unprofessional and unscrupulous site managers and good luck trying to talk to anyone above them. I'm told my lease is being terminated because I was loitering on the property two days after I paid my 2d months rent ON TIME. The next day I was denied access to the lot and told I can only have access to vacate. I'm sorry, I thought I was paid till the end of the month and I wasn't told my lease was being terminated immediately. For no valid reason. I was in the unit with the door closed because I was distraught, because I am having some family problems and I just needed a little peace and quiet. It was Sunday Morning after 9 but before noon. I was on site maybe 2 hours and did nothing that would incite the sensibilities of anyone, except maybe the malcontent at the McDowell facility. The guy that runs the facility in Mesa at McDowell is worthless and unbelievably arrogant. He thinks he can do whatever he wants whenever he wants to anyone he wants. I paid my bill on time and I wasn't doing anything illegal or immoral on the property and I challenge anyone to present any evidence of anything that would constitute such an unreasonable and unkind action. Shame on you public storage!

Public storage should be ashamed of the way they treated that family. The lady called and asked how much she owed,they told her how much she paid that full amount, 3 days later they set her up for failure intentionally…to steal her storage her whole life…I don’t blame her for picketing and writing the newspapers…shame on you public storage

So many issues all the time!! Never any employees in the office… when they are there they are rude. I had to sit and wait 35 mins for access to a cart because they couldn’t allow me to use 1 of the unused one from the other side.

Stop by here the other day I think I spoke to a gentleman named Pete. I had questions about all the different size units. I got all my questions answered. This Public storage is close to my home and convenient for me too.

The hours at this location are perfect! It was clean and the staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable. Peter was especially helpful. The location was just a bit to far for me, otherwise I would have rented the space.

i had a horrible experience at life storage in tempe after they bought out allstate storage. i packed my things out of that unit and had no where to put it. the online rental application was extremely easy to navigate and i ended up getting into my unit the same day, within minutes!!! i love that the storage facility hours are so flexible. the process was so thorough and easy to complete. the woman that came on the video call at the self service kiosk was so knowledgeable, personable and FRIENDLY! thank you for making this such an easy process!

I love that I can get to my unit until 9pm and that they open at 6am. The flexibility to put stuff in storage early or late during the summer played a big part in my decision to use this place. I have used quiet a few storage facilities around the valley and this one is by far the best one yet. Love the drive -up access also.

They've been helpful sometimes it requires a little something extra and they've given that. Good Job guys.

The computer system is always down when I visit. I updated my CC info and now I received a card asking me to update my address. Why? Silly stuff drives me crazy.

I opened a unit April of 2020 and was paying 40$. It went up to 50$, then 60$, and now is 80$ for a 4x4 unit. I got a notice for the first two increases but not the 20$ increase to 80$. This is absurd. Inflation aside, that is an unacceptable increase in that short of a time for such a small unit. I am laying DOUBLE the price in a little over a year. I called in to customer service, after a long wait, to find out if this was the case. The girl didn't seem to care, even after I said I didn’t receive the notice of increase. I will be shopping elsewhere and canceling my unit as soon as I am back from out of town.

Rented a 12x 20 unit for a ridiculous amount of money. That’s not the issue. The issue is it does NOT have a roll up door but a useless swing door. Why do you put a swing door on a 12’ wide storage unit!!!!!!!

Typical corporate company. Will tell you basically to go to hell no matter the circumstances. If you are struggling a little bit.. they don't care. They will threaten with an auction and tell you to go to hell. I moved in here when it was extra space storage which was a great company to store with. They blind sighted me when these greedy individuals took over. Never do business with public storage.

I really like the self service kiosk. Also if you need help just press the call button and a live agent will answer in video call to assist you. The storage unit we got was very clean. Very well pleased with the entire experience. Prices are reasonable as well.

They close too early. Not cheap

No no no!!! I was on hold forever then I said I’m really not happy you keep raising my fee and she literally said well that’s what you signed and I said well I’m an attorney and she hung up on me!!!! Not kidding!! They are fleecing their customers.. RUN!

This place is a RIPOFF!!!!! First of all, you have to complete payment for unit while making a reservation. If the unit doesn't work for you, there is NO REFUND!!! There is Noone on site to speak with! By the time I was able to get a hold of someone it was 24hrs after the date of my reservation and was told a MONTH LATER that because I wasn't officially vacated until the nxt day I would NOT b receiving a refund. Also, most units here are drive up, I reserved a 10x10 and the door was sooooooo small I couldn't get a chair through it. I never even stepped foot in the unit!!!!! I had been with extra space storage for 26 years and never should've went anywhere else!!!

I've been a very happy customer here for going on 2 years. Debbie is always happy to help whenever I've needed it. She goes above and beyond what you'd expect. I highly recommend this place for all things storage. Thanks again Debbie for all your help with my wife's account. You took away one more thing for Sally to stress out.
