I just checked my bank account and my monthly fee for for my storage unit was $204!! I had previously been paying $166. In no way did they contact me to let me know about this almost 25% increase. This is the 2nd increase I have seen, but also the largest. They will try to tell you these increases are based on current rates in the area, but you would think they would go easy on their existing customers. Just goes to show they only care about the almighty dollar. It's a shame corporations have lost any care for the people who pay for their services and keep them in business.
UPDATE 08/26/25: I have been contacted by local/district managers who have reset my next three payments back to what I had been paying. They are also looking to get me an additional credit for my upcoming payment. I do appreciate the fast response and help in this matter. We shall see what my monthly payment jumps up to after the adjusted three month period.

I’m blown away by the customer service I received from Evann, a manager at the Hedgcoxe property in Plano. I’m dealing with some difficulties, and had several questions about my units, as well as about policies and procedures. Evan responded very promptly to my voice message. He spent several minutes patiently walking me through the info and very kindly answering my concerns. He was knowledgeable, extremely respectful, and genuinely concerned about answering all my questions sufficiently, all of which is so rare in business today. I’ve had units here for a few years and haven’t ever had a negative experience. I highly recommend this property.

Been using this Public Storage for over a year since we have moved back to Texas. The staff have always been more than helpful and very friendly!! In particular at this location, Ebony went above and beyond for my Boyfriend and I as we are planning/getting ready to move into a house from our apartment and gave us some nice moving and packing tips and had such a positive and friendly attitude that I feel not very many people have now a days!!!!!
