I have been renting two units at Public Storage in Allen on Andrews Pkwy for the past year. It's a very clean and well kept facility. Everyone that I have interacted with there has been courteous, polite and helpful. I would especially like to compliment the manager, Chris Bowen for his huge help with assisting me with my two units so I could move my belongings all the way to Indiana. He went above and beyond to make this feat possible without me being able to be there in person. I was amazed at how he responded in an extremely timely manner every time I had a question or request. I wouldn't hesitate using this storage facility in Allen in the future.
I just moved in from another location, and I am so happy with the facilities and the staff. The staff is really what sells this place - super friendly, and very helpful. Thank you Chris and Andrea!
This guy Chris helped me out a couple days ago when I had to ask more questions than any normal person has. When things are new and your life is changing it is really nice to find someone who is patient with you while you're being worried about dumb stuff and have more questions than a toddler about how things work at a facility. I have been renting here going on three years. When I first signed my lease agreement, it was a different company and then Public Storage bought it out. There have been times. I’ve been frustrated with the corporate change. However, I recently wanted to move into a bigger unit. Chris was an amazing help with this transition. He was helpful, understanding, and explained everything in detail. The process was easy and quick because of him!

Chris is the man! The staff here always call and works with me during rough times. They're the best. I had two units at this location. I lost my keys and they helped me get into it without jumping through a lot of hoops. Definitely recommend try to get Chris if you call
I'm in the process of finding a new storage. The rates have increased drastically and I'm constantly having trouble using the app. My rent has more than doubled in the last 12 months.

We had the privilege of working with Andrew! He was so incredibly patient, kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. He helped us find a unit that was in an ideal location and took the time to explain which units were still available. Despite the fact we were struggling to make a decision, he went out of his way to help us. He arrived to our scheduled appointment a few minutes early, which I truly appreciated as well. Overall, Andrew made our experience at Public Storage really positive and super enjoyable. It is apparent Andrew loves his job. He is a true asset to this company!
Just moved out after years of being with them. They have gone downhill since becoming public storage. It’s always dirty and smells damp, there’s never any carts on one side so you have to go all the way to the other side to get one and they changed the ac so it’s not as cool in there anymore. I honestly was concerned that my belongings were going to get damaged. And all this and they keep raising prices! Go elsewhere
The place itself is wonderful but beware that at anytime they will raise your rent and at any amount they choose, there is no set amount or time in their contract to do so, they just give you a 30 day warning they are doing it. So you get a good rate at the beginning but they will for sure go up on you quickly.
Accommodating when I needed to make a change, clean, climate controlled, and secure. Update: I just wish they would have had staff accessible on sight. I rarely saw anyone there.

Have stopped by several times and no one is ever in the office nor do they answer the phone. Random price increases but what am I getting as a customer by paying more ? No staff on site no calls answered. The place smelled like weed the last time I went in to check my unit. Also read the replies on these reviews it’s generic oh so sorry too bad but they never address making things right. There are too many good options to have to deal with unprofessional places that smell like weed.

Was a great place before Public Storage took over. They raise the price arbitrarily month to month. We never even signed their new rental agreement since we were still on the agreement from the previous company. Shady business practices and unfortunately they are buying up all the storage companies in the county.

It’s a nice place but my monthly rate jumped by $100 in less than a year. They lure you in with a too good to be true price only to increase it by an obscene amount which is disappointing. If the price lowers, great! If not, I plan on finding a more affordable option and you should too
Update: my rent is $260/month but this statement says $320. No thank you. Canceling my lease immediately and encouraging people to stay away

This Storage Space is very durable I highly recommend it to anyone looking or in need of a unit.
I am up here nearly every day. Tiffany is running the place perfectly, she’s friendly and a hard worker and monthly tries to get my unit rate lowered. Like other reviews, Public Storage corporate gouged me with a $95 increase after 3 months.
She fought hard to get new locks on the public restrooms for the convenience of her customers. Prior to last week, they were always locked and if a manager wasn’t here, you couldn’t use the facilities which was a huge inconvenience to everyone.
I’ve been to numerous storage facilities all over DFW and this Public Storage is always clean, rodent free and well run, which I can’t say about the majority of them.
Tiffany greeted me at the door, and with a warm smile, welcomed me to Public Storage. She helped me find a unit closest to the door in order to make my move easier since I have trouble with my back. Every question was answered fully and to my complete satisfaction, and even conversing with her was a pleasure. Tiffany took the time to explain everything I needed to know. She was so nice. The storage building and unit were immaculate and I felt good about the security measures that are taken to protect customers in and around the building. What a wonderful first-time experience! Definitely recommending this location to others! Everything was perfect, just exactly what I was hoping for, from customer service to accessibility to the condition of the unit itself. This is a great place. My extended family has used to place to store their stiff while they are remodeling their house. The place is super clean and the staff is great. We hade a little problem with our lock but Tiffany came and saved the day! Thank you!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. STAY AWAY. the employees are rude and nasty and you can never ever get a hold of anyone in person or on the phone. This is a nightmare company and I will never use them again. After years of using this unit. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with ANY company. I can’t buy groceries now because of this place. STAY AWAY.
I rented a storage unit online and when I got there, it did not have the rollup door and I am sure that it told me that when I rented it, but I missed it. The girl working was extremely helpful and immediately found me another unit that worked. Everything there is clean and fresh and looks new, my experience was top-notch and I definitely recommend this facility if you need a storage unit.
Was here for over five years and this place could not care less. I finally got fed up and switched to Extra Space Storage which is better, way cheaper, and allows you to prepay rent in order to lock it in and prevent increase.
Whats most frustrating is that they raise your rent way higher than what a new customer pays WITHOUT any discount or promotion. So I've been a customer for five years and you demand I pay 60% more that the normal market rate you're charging a new customer according to your own website??? I don't think so. All you have to do is go to their website and see what the current rates are, after promotion, and you'll discover you're being screwed.
This place doesn't even care if people piss or defecate in the elevator, stairwell, or outside - as they lock the bathrooms at 6pm. Obviously people still have to go, so they clearly don't care where they do their business. Although it doesn't matter much anyway since the toilets weren't kept clean and were almost always out of toilet paper and soap.
No longer 24 hour access, and continues to violate the contract by raising rates WITHOUT PROVIDING NOTICE! 3rd time!

I Never post poor reviews but I've been with this place over 3.5 years and it's nice and clean but I've been raised from. $45 in 2020 to 65 to 99 to almost 130 ( not sure of exact amounts but close) then moved to a small one at 66 end of year had to pay someone to move me and just got raised to 89! They gave me the 66 rsye back after 4 calls, but made me pay the 89 this time! All the customer service agents said they appealed it and in the meantime I had paid the 66. Now they're billing me the 23 dollar difference as well as 20 late fee. They say the system doesn't allow for them to give me a courtesy even though i paid my rate as soon as it happened. .not a One time to drop late fee even though they gave me my new rate back and I've not heard back. So today the man said sorry we have a fudiciary responsibility to our investors. So they can raise u 30% whenever they want and they operate on their system they kept my rate same for 6 more months but they want the additional 23 and a late fee I got on that portion of 20 more. Even after keeping my rate the same! The "system' runs them only not caring about good ontime paying loyal customers.
Kirstin , and Tiffany at this location are just the sweetest ladies I’ve met. So easy to deal with. I will be using this facility again.
We got away from Public Storage and moved into this location when it was under different ownership without knowing that Public Storage was in the process of taking over. Imagine our surprise when we saw the building dawn the Public Storage sign... sure enough, our rates have already jumped up by $20 in the last couple of months.
Of all my time spent with Public Storage, I've never had so much trouble getting in touch with them! I had a question about a mysterious charge on my account and I've called multiple times the past few days with no answer or call back. I will have to go in person to speak with someone. We will be moving asap..
AVOID! This place like the plague. Since public storage took over this location, they have had price increases every couple of months. They do it without notifying you, so you can't escape until after they rob you. My rent went from $64 with the former company to $83 under public storage, and this month it is $104. No more PS for me.

This place started great then went down the longer I was here. Started the first year at $60 a month then jumped up to $70. A $10 increase is understandable. Then the following year it jumped to $110 a month while my unit had mice in it. Not sure how a company justifies almost a 50% increase when their units have mice like mine did. I was on the 3rd floor section 6.

They continue to go up on my unit price without informing me. I am auto draft each month and have to go look at my bank account to find out. Also the elevators are broke every time I go there and there’s very little customer service. Like right now no one has answered the phone I’ve been calling for an hour…
