It’s a sad day when we have to come to a agreement and say we have to part ways at this location after being here for well over twenty plus years as loyal tenants from back when Don and Bev ran it as safe guard storage we only had one problem a year ago when someone was was breaking into many of the units and hit our unit as well but we weren’t letting that make us feel that we needed to pack up and move out but instead staying because we liked this location it was convenient to us because it was close to us. We feel that since public storage took over we have had our renters rates increase
significantly every few months and it doesn’t feel right as a loyal renter for that many years to pay over $240 a month it may be for some but just not for us anymore.
DJ was extremely helpful in helping me get the rental sorted out. Have nothing but good things to say about him
Had an auction issue , came down to the wire.. I got in and the property manager (Cooper) really got things straightened out. He and his boss actually worked with me to remedy things. Never experienced such a hassle-free, accommodating and exceptional customer service at a storage facility as I have at the 144th st location. Ben and DJ were helpful from the very start to the last day of my storage unit. Ben had walked me through the easiest method of payment processing and assisted when I had an issue with the gate opening(my error on the app). When I reached out to let them know my last day of usage, DJ seamlessly took care of the final invoice and received the confirmation email swiftly upon our conversation. Their attitude, patience and knowledge made this storage experience a template by which all business personnel facing customers should mimic. Without doubt, the next time I am in need of a storage unit, the 144th st location will be my go-to.
