I had a big storage unit I was renting but the price has gone up so I was planning on moving out until I met Yolanda the property manager. She is super nice when I was explaining to her that I couldn’t afford this unit anymore so she showed me some of the smaller units to maybe downsize. This is a long time coming but I cannot say enough great things about Keith at Public Storage, Gandy.
I'm not sure if it's the company's expectations or his own self reflection but he exemplifies what it means to be a great team member. You would like he owned it with how professional, hospitable and knowledgeable he is.
He is honest and accommodating. His level headedness allows him to communicate clearly and thoroughly.
I've been renting for about 3 years now, have had to move units, had to return a key, received an unexpected increase in rent and he has handle all with grace. He makes sure to do what's right and not just what is easy.
The facility is very well maintained and you can regularly see him with his cleaning cart keeping it stick and span.
Keith is a keeper.

I wanted to do a review on my experience with this public storage and the customer care representative Yolanda. I don't put my real name in reviews, but my reservation was January 26-Feb 26.
First, I love the location of this unit. It's so convenient to be right off of the main road making it easy to stop by on the way home. It's always clean: I've never seen a piece of trash, spill, or even dust on the premises. Even the elevators smells good.
My only concerns it how cheap the company is to have only 3 carts at such a busy location. I've seen whole lines of people waiting to unpack movies trucks while people are loading and unloading as fast as possible knowing everyone is waiting on them. And not sure why the gate isn't motioned censored on the way out, pretty inconvenient.
Regardless, Yolanda made the a great experience of renting a storage unit! She was friendly, professional, thorough and knowledgeable while offering options that would suit my needs. She also seemed happy to spend the time it took to find me the perfect unit and was helpful in me making the best decision based on the options.
I asked about her experice as an employee being that I'm considering a change of pace when it comes to work. She was open about her positive experience working for PS and her pride in doing her job-- which really has me considering applying in my new area. She is alert, competent, accomodating, straightforward, very personable and really set the tone for a positive experience. If I needed long-term storage I definitely would've chosen this one.

Never have any issues but why is there NEVER any carts available? Two cars in the parking lot and I have to wait 20/30mins for someone to return a cart. Happened the last few times. Return the carts people.
Two months later since I left this review and STILL NO CARTS.

I went to Clearwater public storage to help a friend with her storage unit .I was very impressed with the security of this facility. As we were moving things around in the unit a nice woman named Chrissy came up to check if we belonged there. We spoke for awhile and she couldn't have been more helpful or professional. This was a nice surprise. I have goneto other storage facilities and they didn't have a security gate or a staff member on site. At other facilities there were homeless people living in some of the units and there was even one a band used for band practice.
I recommend the storage facility with five stars. It maybe more expensive than others but your belongings will be safe.

Well my first time at this specific location and let me tell you I'm was amazed even before purchasing my unit. Ran into a few disrespectful tenants but none the less. I was able to move in and situate my things in a timely manner. Keith has been nothing but beyond helpful and always on duty. Had some issues not being able to fit my car into a 10x20 unit at a St. Pete location, decided to switch to this location and get a smaller unit and store my car elsewhere. I have been renting a unit at this Public Storage location on Gandy blvd since August 2022 and I must say it has been nothign but positive. The manager on site (Jennifer I think) it seems is always on site sweeping, cleaning, checking things with a clipboard in her hand lol and even knows me by name. I sleep soundly at night knowing that she is managing....well.....my life in the form of things that are important to me. The facility is very clean and I have NEVER seen a bug or rodent (my biggest fear and from what I understand is quite rare in self storage).

Excellent clean storage facility and ladies that work there are super duper nice and friendly. Reserve online cause u sometimes can get a little better price but either way, the rent is very reasonable. By the way, i noticed a few people commenting the about the elevator being out, i did not see this issue, people were going up and down them just fine. So either they're fixed or people weren't operating them correctly or something.

The onboarding experience is why I went with this place. It was extremely easy and everyone was really nice. I spoke with John on the phone as well as Andrea. The first month is only $1, but there are various fees that require a larger sum for down payment depending on your options. Unfortunately this is how it is pretty much everywhere else, so the friendly staff and simple experience make this place a no brainer.
