Reviews
Other than having my rent raised regularly, I like this storage facility. It has app and keypad access, although not open and accessible 24/7 (you have to pay extra for after hours access). I like that you used to be able to drive through the facility so you can load/unload in the shade, but the exit door is ALWAYS inoperable. You have to either back in or master the 10-point u-turn. The facility is usually clean, they seem to have solved their homeless problem, and the elevators are among the smoothest and quietest I have ever been in. The climate controlled areas are cool-ish, definitely better than outside temperatures.
This is a wonderful storage space...clean, well lit, convenient location, and very friendly staff. Geno has been extremely helpful when I've had questions and issues arise!

Amazing price, good customer service and moving sucks but the best part is moving your stuff into this storage, indoor and air conditioned. There’s carts provided making it easier as well. Highly recommend. Nothings better than moving and not having to deal with the Arizona heat.
When I went into the office on Saturday, Connor was there to answer my questions to the fullest so I was able to answer my wife's questions and due to his help, we plan on renting a unit next month.

Excellent service, clean property inside and out, friendly and knowledgeable staff; Kayla, Geno and Wale(?). Dealing with an end of the month plethora of move ins, move outs and walk ins professionally and with genuine smiles on their faces. My experience is something I wish everyone would enjoy across the industry. This particular store should be considered by Public Storage as hitting every key point or metric defined as hitting the mark. Often I'm impressed by someone clearly doing their job or trying to do their job, for which they are not often, if at all, given the attention they deserve for doing just that and in a stellar capacity.
I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother, who came home absolutely raving about the incredible experience she had at Public Storage. She couldn't stop talking about how easy Kayla made the entire process of getting a storage unit.
My mother uses a cane, and Kayla was incredibly patient, kind, and never rushed her. She walked alongside her at her pace, which meant a lot to both of us. It was clear that Kayla was genuinely listening to her concerns and took the time to explain everything thoroughly.
My mom was especially impressed by how knowledgeable Kayla was about the facility—she knew everything inside and out, and it really showed. It’s easy to see why she's a manager!
Thank you, Kayla, for going above and beyond. You made my mother feel valued and comfortable through what could have been a stressful experience. I’m sure we’ll cross paths again when I help her move things in.

Not like all the other storage facilities! I love the fact that the facility has rules patrons have to abide by and are enforced making this storage facility a safe place especially for your belongings. The staff I’ve met there are super pleasant and kind. The prices for their units are GREAT! And most importantly they won’t jack your price up to an insane amount after moving your stuff in. I had a unit some place else and my unit went from $90 a month to $180. I don’t know about you but for someone on a tight budget like myself it broke me! Lucky for me I was able to move everything here with their months promo “free first months rent” with a decent monthly rate following. The units are indoor, with a/c, easy access and with enough carts for everyone moving in or out.
Again… the office staff are great and very helpful as well.

I think it’s safe to say that moving is pretty much the worst. However, its experiences like these that put a sense of confidence and levity into what feels like an endless sequence of uphill days that are exhausting and that are trying to dim my inner light (ie moving).
THANK YOU KAYLA! She’s been outstanding: She’s a powerhouse of information about the ins and outs of this place and she has the patience of someone who’s never had a nasty customer. She has made this experience more than tolerable. She’s been accommodating and thoughtful and hilarious. And being helped by someone in customer service who is helpful and hilarious is important because, well? Moving is pretty much the worst.
I now have 2 units and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Willing to accommodate my needs and price. The facility is for the most part clean. Besides having to have 2 different gate codes, I understand though. Public storage is worth it.

I've had a very good experience with Public Storage in Surprise, AZ. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the facility is clean and well maintained. The elevators make access to 2nd and 3rd floors very easy. I am satisfied with my unit and the cost is reasonable.

SOO thankful I chose this location! I made my initial reservation online, but realized I needed a second unit for one month. Kayla helped me navigate getting a second unit, and made sure they were next to each other... all while being so friendly and patient with my questions. It is a new location, so she explained the gates and doors, and what to expect once all of the entry doors were installed. Three weeks after moving in, I came back to remove the insurance, and she made that so easy also. Having access with the keypad is so easy. Having the carts to move things around is so helpful.
This would be a 5-star review, if only dealing with Kayla, but there was another employee in the office when I went in to remove the insurance last week. This next part is for the management, as there is no way to reach out on the website. I looked. Kat was very unprofessional. He interrupted Kayla multiple times to interject unnecessarily. It was rude, condescending, and made me uncomfortable. Like he wanted me to know he was 'important' or something. She handled herself so well... it reminded me to write a review. I had to go back in to the office this week, and avoided going in when I saw he was there. If interacting with him was my first impression, I would literally have gone to another location. There is another one in Surprise that is equal distant to my new home.

We have rented more than one space in the past couple of years and what keeps us here is the kind and helpful attention we get from them when we need it. Came to public storage today not really knowing what size exactly that we needed. After letting Gino know what items we needed to store he was able to accurately give us a good size storage. He was really nice, professional and made us feel comfortable and secure knowing our precious items would be safe. I'd recommend speaking to Gino if you need a space for rent.
Went in to upgrade my storage unit to a larger size and with the help of Gino the process was fast and easy. The new manager is friendly and helpful. I needed to trade my smaller unit for a larger one and he made it as easy as possible. We had some issues with a different manager here, but not now.
We recently had an issue with someone accidentally running into our storage unit with their car and damaging our door exposing our contents. CAT (front office) was absolutely amazing in helping to secure our space until the door could be repaired. He kept us informed on the status as it took a couple days to get someone out. If it were not for him we would have immediately had our items moved to another facility because we could not get any information or assistance from the district manager nor the main office. Thank You CAT for all you do!

The gentleman who helped me from the very beginning has always been extremely kind and courteous. I have only visited the facility a few times, but they are always clean, I have even had other people also renting a unit asked me if I am in need of help and they are more than willing to help me. I also like the fact that the keys come with your unit and each of the locks goes directly into the frame of your unit, that does make me feel safer

The entrance door was broken and they installed a new one but it isn't working and has been that way for a month. Facility is nice but should be given a refund for the time the door doesn't work.
I just got a space here and the man on the phone is wonderful. He asked questions and made sure I knew everything before my move in day. I can’t wait to move my furniture here and experience quality customer service.
This is a very nice and clean storage facility. I went online to reserve a storage and I received a friendly call from the office offering support and confirmation. When I finally went to the office, I had the pleasure of meeting Rod. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. He was so patient and understanding. The storage units are very clean! I would recommend this place to my friends and family. Thank you for a great experience!

If I could give more than five stars I would.Valerie was very helpful, friendly and professional. The facility is newer, organized and clean.Has a nice indoor loading and unloading space. It is a state of the art facility when it comes to security. Would highly recommend.

Manager Rod has been extremely helpful in providing what I consider a top notch service during my registration and move in process. He took time to confirm each step of the registration process so there would not be issues or gaps in the application. I like his attention to details without making this process burdensome but effective.

This is the most incredible storage facility I have ever been to. It is incredibly clean, perfect temperature and their customer service is above and beyond. I can't recommend them enough. I have two storage units there and they have always been incredibly accommodating and helpful. If you need storage, this is the place to go!
Rod is Awesome! The storage is inside so no issues with weather ever! It is clean and cold. Rod made the move in very easy! He is Exceptional! I am so glad I moved my stuff here.

Friendly staff that took the time to answer my questions. Was great to have air condition as you unload or load you belongings to your unit. First that I have used. Good that they have cameras and security. I recommend buying your own lock. I made the mistake and bought a lock too big. I bought theirs and it will not work anywhere else. I did not know, when turning in your unit you do not get a prorate reimbursement of funds. It is month to month in the contract. My fault for not paying attention. The carts they purchased came in handy. I will use this storage facility again if needed.
